"Very slow"
Recently renovated and modernised, Wynyard is the main railway station to access the northern end of the Sydney CBD and harbour areas. Catch a train from here across the bridge to Milsons Point and walk back across the bridge, or a city circle train to move around the city. Offers connections to the light rail to Randwick and numerous bus services.
Very convenient light rail stop to either Randwick via UNSW or Central Quay. The services have definitely improved since my first visit in 2019 and the light rail is now not limited too much by surrounding traffic with the light rail obtaining priority at intersections.
Light Rail stop at Wynyard runs down George Street. It has multiple tap on machines and also seating. Good stop for accessing Bar Totti’s, Martin Place and HSBC and Westpac banks.
Ever wonder how it looks like before sunrise? Wynyard light rail station is close to the train line and shops. Convenient enough for your errands and trips in and around metro.
Very slow. Buses would be faster. At the end of the day, it’s to get you from A to B fast and safe. It does a pretty average job.
It's a lot better than it used to be Has a real feel of a big international train station since the upgrade
Works well and all, but I kind of wish it was closer to Wynyard train station.
It was started service on 14 December 2019.
