I wanted to review this company to be part of history. Why history? Because a company with such poor service will not be around for much longer as they'll become irrelevant, so I wanted to be able to make my mark before they disappear. We booked multiple taxis through this company to pick people up from a function - the booking was made well in advance, and we even called again on the day of the function to confirm that they had the booking and that the taxis would be there. And yet, at the time of booking, no Taxis were to be seen. And when I called them to enquire how long it would be till we may expect to see one of these mythical taxis which had been booked, I was told there were none available. We'd provided the booking days in advance - how much more time do you need? Thankfully, we were able to book a number of Ubers that were there within 5 minutes. I know the Taxi industry hates Uber as they say they are taking business off them - however as Packenham Taxis have proved in my experience with them, it's not Uber taking business away from them, it's poor customer service from the Taxis sending people over to Uber. Do I regret booking with Packenham Taxis? No. My only regret is that I had to actually award one star to this company, a zero would be more fitting as zero service is what they provided to us... Save your time, book an Uber.

Extremely Piss Poor, if I could I would give it a 0. If I had the time to evaluate the previous Ratings and Reviews - I would of not bothered with this group. I had done an over the phone booking with Pakenham Taxis at Midnight, booked for 3AM waited until 3:20AM then called them - where my booking was only just accepted (Already 20 minutes late on a booking made 3 hours in advance) and apparently the Taxi had shown up - but was nowhere to be seen, had waited outside the house for the Taxi and called again almost 20 mins later, again. They had sent another Taxi out only to have yet another No-show. Edit: Customer Service was atrocious, if you need a Taxi to get to work, don't bother with this one - it will only cost you your job. Calling them to lodge a complaint and they'll only tell you to visit their site to lodge it - of which the Lodging doesn't actually work, even if you fill out all the details in the correct format. Save your time and money and book with an Uber.

Pakenham taxis used to be a reliable and friendly service. Not the case now. Yesterday I pre ordered a taxi early to be at an appointment at 1:30pm the first taxi driver took 45 minutes to arrive, this wasnt a peak hour time so I zero idea what was happening. to make things worse, the driver wasnt exactly a nice person at all and it was an unpleasant experience, the second taxi I had booked for me via woolworths in pakenham market place, I waited over 50 minutes and the taxi was a complete no show. I was lucky however, pakenham royal taxis did pull up at the rink to help me get home. If it wasnt for them, I would have had to have walked with a severe back and hip injury at night time. If you need a taxi I would highly recommend pakenham royal taxis instead or uber.

What's the point of booking a Maxie taxi hours in advance to be left standing waiting for a cab that's not even coming. Booked maxi cab for 1 pm it's now 125 pm and I'm told I have to wait until one is available im now running late for a family function thank you pakenham taxi your service sucks..... You need to sort your business out and be honest up front when people book cabs and tell them u don't have the service available that you advertise to the public.. It's pretty embarrassing when you rely on a service and book in advance and then can not get to your destination.... To say im angry is an understatement

Companies like this is the reason why Uber has been so successful .. Twice now I have had to walk to the station, both times waiting 45 minutes before I cancelled .. Being told each time "Oh Well", by the very rude older lady who answers the phone .. Who is completely horrible at her Another 3 times I have been told there is longer than expected wait times .. I have tried calling them all up 7 times, with 2 times being services delivered .. Now with Uber, I have used there service 12 times, all times services being delivered with no more than 8 minutes as a wait time ... AND in a safe and comfortable car !!

The worst taxi company ever. Every single time I have called them EVEN a pre booked taxi I have waited over 1.5 hours. The service is ridiculous I called back after an hour of it not turning up and the lady said flat out "we can't get you a taxi" what the hell were you doing for the last hour? I was an hour late to my business proposal the most important thing I've had to attended in my life. Even booked hours before. I found another pakenham taxi company out of chance today - Royal Pakenham Taxi I would recommend using them from now on. I'm DONE with pakenham Taxis pathetic excuse for a business.

I booked a taxi once with Pakenham taxis, the driver was late, he turned up at least an hour after booking the taxi, resulting in me overstaying my welcome at my friend's place. The driver should not have been driving as he did not have safe and proper control of the vehicle. I reported this to Pakenham Taxis, as well as the POLICE, because this driver should not have been on the road. Nothing was done, heard no response, I also noticed another taxi owned by pakenham taxis months later had bald tyres with steel belts exposed. These muppets should not operate a taxi service. Avoid avoid avoid

Would give 0 if I could. Pre-booked a taxi, called 20 minutes after the booking time only to be told it had been cancelled (not by me). Told they would send one but it would be 10-15 minutes as it was difficult to get taxis to the Pakenham area (despite being called Pakenham taxis). 45 minutes later and no taxi and no sympathy from any of the staff for the fact my husband was stranded at the station from 10-11pm at night. Contacted uber, was home in ten minutes. Will never bother with a taxi again, thank you for making an uber customer out of me.

The absolute worst taxi service I've EVER had the misfortune of using, I called at 6:15am advising I needed a taxi ASAP and was told it would take a few minutes but I was placed on "priority"....taxi does not arrive till 7:28am...making me late for work...you would think that calling 1 hour and 15 minutes ahead of time would be plenty of time...well not when dealing with pakenham taxi....I never bother to write reviews but I'm so pissed I'm actually writing this....my advice is don't use pakenham taxi, they will let you down.

Booked taxi days ahead for teenage girls. Address going to supply at time of booking and at time of pickup. Drove in complete opposite direction and dropped off complete different road and suburb and left young teenage girls abondoned. Multiple calls result in having to arrange friends to collect and take to where required. 50 minutes after original booking 2 taxis called to location dropped off and 1 to pick up address after girls had been collected by friends. Hate to see what happened if late at night.

Every time either myself or someone in my family have booked a taxi, for a certain time it's been late. Don't you think if I book it for a certain time, I need to be somewhere??? I've only talked to two operators who actually seem like they like their job, one of them was Glen. The rest don't seem happy at all. I also called one this morning to book it for half an hour, tried to explain to the lady why I need it at this time, AND SHE HUNG UP ON ME. I'm not happy at all!!!

I have used Pakenham taxis on and off for over 14 years and I have lost count of how many times I have used them. I can only speak as I find. Cabs have always been clean. Generally on time, perhaps 5 or 10 minutes either way but usually on time. I don’t ever recall having a bad driver, in fact quite the contrary I find them reliable and courteous to other road users which creates a stress free trip. I have no hesitation in using this service or recommending it to others

The worst possible service ever. DO NOT USE, USE UBER or another service. Prebooked a taxi early in the morning to ensure I meet my train and associated appointment. Taxi was a no show with no explanation, and no detail when I attempted to call. Multiple times. This has occurred more than once over the last year, not just the one occurrence. Don’t bother with this appalling taxi service. Use something more modern and reliable.

My wife was having car trouble and i went to pick my toddler up at daycare before they closed. I called to have a taxi waiting for 6pm at the daycare center. I was assured it would not be a problem. They never turned up despite me calling 4 times. Then my phone went flat I was forced to walk home over 4 km carrying a tired and hungry little boy. Extremely disappointed with this service.

Don’t even deserve that 1 star. Ordered a taxi for a girl who was abandoned at Officer called her a taxi and the driver sent then abandoned the poor girl because she had no money in her account as he wanted money in advance. She could get money at her destination but kicked her out the taxi on the Pakenham bypass because she had only $15 in her Uber account....... very poor service

last time I use (try is more accurate) Pakenham taxis. Waited 15 mins for the update that was supposed to be in 20secs. Called and spoke to someone. She said some drivers don’t pick up bookings from voice activation ☹️ wondered what the point of it was then. She couldn’t give me an eta so I canceled it and told her I’d get an Uber. Going to be late for my appointment now!

Credit where credit is due. A lot of the drivers are really good people. It's a shame though, that it takes so long at times for a taxi to arrive. I dread school pick ups, because if I call or book from the school, it can take an hour for someone to arrive. Even booking it to pick me up from home, go to the school, and return, is becoming frustrating.

Any wonder people are using Uber! One star is too higher rating for these muppets. Told me Drovers place doesn’t exist (while I’m there). Agree to meet them at the corner, waited 15 minutes then this fat old man walked to the train, took an hour. Then I get to the station and there’s 2 f@&king cabs sitting on the rank(drivers asleep)! …

Rang last year around November waited for 3 hrs , and rang them 3 times no taxi walked home. Today rang at 08:00 for a taxi to pick me up at Power house motor cycles, pick up was for 08:35, rang again at 09:00 and was told that l had booked it for 09:35 finally turned up at 09:25. The booking was not even on taxi computer. Bad service

If I could vote 0 stars I would. Appalling services. I've started using taxis and they usually show up within 20 minutes. Nearly 2 hours later I'm STILL waiting. I call back and the short tempered operator was like "I don't know when it'll be there....sorry". This service needs more taxis and a definite improvement

Absolutely appalling service. DO NOT USE. I had multiple drivers cancel on me without any communication. I was left stranded in a country suburb with no regular public transportation for over an hour and after the third call to their customer service to see what was going on, I was hung up on!

A 20 minute drive cost me $85 which I had to prepay $100 and the meter said $83.14 when I arrive and the cab driver gave himself a 86c tip...took forever to arrive and I had to chase him down because he drove past my pick up point, the 2 stars was because I did get home.

I have never used Any taxis until September 2016 when I had both feet broken so couldn't walk. I have found them to be incredibly efficient (never waiting more than 10 minutes for a pick up) and their drivers are friendly and helpful. Thank you Pakenham Taxis

Polite person on the phone when ordering the taxi, within 5 minutes the taxi arrived with a pleasant driver who knew the area and didn't try to take a longer route (unlike another company I stupidly used last time). I would definitely recommend this company.

We booked a cab an hour and a half before we needed it and it never turned up. Made us late and meant that one of us had to drive. Paid for baby sitters paid for accommodation and the whole night was ruined because the cab never turned up. Useless company!!

I recently used Pakenham taxi services to get back home from hospital. I was not feeling well and the dishonest driver to advantage of my ill health by taking took the longest and slowest route to my house. Very expensive trip. Will not use them again

I had a really good experience today, I must be one of the lucky ones! Phone operater was polite and courteous. Driver was prompt, friendly and drove well. We chatted the whole way, it was just like getting a lift off a friend. Thank you.

Stupid service, I booked in waited 45 minutes, called every 10-15 min, and she just told me that we put you on priority.. someone will be there... no one came and finally I cancelled and book somewhere else. Who came in 5 minutes.

Awesome drivers......update as off 2022, really not worth calling, takes hours to get a cab, phone line says they it's heavily booked, finally get a driver and they say it's been quiet all night, better off with an uber now

booked a taxi for elderly patient for pakenham optical. taxi arrived at millhaven and when elderly gentleman didnt come out, taxi left.. not good enough where is your customer service :( :( :( :(

I called up the call center to order a taxi from Cardinia waters retirement village to Pakenham Railway Station and got told to call someone else as they don't do short trips.

Worst experience everytime, I always wait longer then 20 mins and they always charge extra even if they are late!! And most drivers are so rude they won't even say hello
