"The station (in the day) isn't too terrible but the placement of the Myki readers is very stupid"
"Train station area has construction happening"
"Dumb placement of myki readers and narrow automatic doors means even though there are myki readers on the left and right at each door, there is still only room for 1 person to exit or enter at a time, making crowds form to leave or block people from getting onto the platform"
"A covenant city which has all government offices required and shops"
"trains usually come quite frequently and the service is pretty consistent which is actually quite uncommon for Metro trains! considering this is a major station though it should have an upgrade in its facilities"
The station (in the day) isn't too terrible but the placement of the Myki readers is very stupid. The gap is narrow, and only one person can pass at a time, despite there being two readers! I went in off-peak, so I didn't have problems but I can imagine the problems it causes at peak hours. Has both Suburban and V/Line services servicing it, so it has that going for it. Carpark has no lights, so this station is worse at night.
Train station area has construction happening. They improved the lighting in the car park area more lights now and can't wait to see the new station expected to be built by 2025. On the other note, reviews about night time is accurate however it is always not the case you just have to sit on the end carriage because it is where the exit is and mostly most people sits there from cbd all the way to Pakenham station so its safer
Dumb placement of myki readers and narrow automatic doors means even though there are myki readers on the left and right at each door, there is still only room for 1 person to exit or enter at a time, making crowds form to leave or block people from getting onto the platform. Why aren't there double width automatic doors like other stations with myki readers further apart ?
A covenant city which has all government offices required and shops. But drug addicted people around the train station and near market are often. not feels like safe for kids. but outer areas are more peaceful for living. Affordable housing and still booming market. A regional city for your residential visa.
trains usually come quite frequently and the service is pretty consistent which is actually quite uncommon for Metro trains! considering this is a major station though it should have an upgrade in its facilities.
Poor hygienic conditions. Lack of seats. Very unsafe area after sunset. Darkness invades the park. Don't cross the park to reach the bus terminals. The car park isn't direct supervised.
In the mornings and at noon, it's pretty decent, but after dark... Ooh that's what you don't want to know. All kinds of stuff happen. That's why I always take the day time train.
Friendly customer service. Hot food, cold drinks and coffee available from the station tuck shop. Ample car parking available. Easy access form car park.
Decent enough station (soon to be rebuilt) but V/Line Gippsland CUSTOMERS treated poorly and with little or no respect... time and time again!
Pakenham train station located in a cool suburb of cafes, restaurants and a wide varieties of retail stores. The playground a stone throw away
when you purchase a train ticket here just know it's a one way trip both there's no coming back phyically or mentally
Young guy with blonde hair was very rude to me, wouldnt answer my question about a train that was about to depart
Dirty public toilet. The miki readers in a wierd place and after dark you will be stabed. But over all not bad.
lost my child , he fell on to the train tracks after he got called an adly and lost his tn's wouldnt reccomend
My home station, still uses old PIDs and Myki readers but needs to be improved a lot.
Staff on site, so that's good. Vline trains to Bairnsdale line. Kiosk often open too.
Besides no car parks the station is relatively easy to use and good customer service.
It's a nice, quaint little station, but it will get a wonderful new skyrail in 2024.
This train station is an average country Melbourne train station so it's pretty good
Pretty average. Indicator boards often are wrong especially if trains are late.
Like a bad acid trip. There was an actual goblin working behind the counter!
Still under contruction but it's pretty basic in it's current state.
Trains stop running at 11.30 out of Mordialloc, what a joke
Nice place of start of train line but ooh boy it is slim.
Usually an excellent service on a daily basis
Good customer service, no enough car parking,
Just i guess a normal railway station
