Food is good but don't bother dining in. The wait was very long. When my family and I dined here, the waitress swiftly provided menus and water to the table. After that we were forgotten. I saw the wait staff take an order from another table but she never returned to take an order from us. Eventually my husband ordered for us from the counter. There was no signage or information on the menu to specify whether we should wait for service or order from the counter. In any case; it was a confusing experience. For people wanting to dine in at an Indian restaurant, this place is completely devoid of character and ambience. Indian restaurants are normally spirited, with lots of art on the walls, warm, ambient and full of culture, but this is not that! If you want to sit and wait for a long time in a characterless grey takeaway joint, go for it. The only good thing was that the food was decent (after a very long wait). To the owners: some music would make a huge difference!! Even the radio. Diners don't want to hear each other talking. Also warm/darkened lighting and some references to Indian culture would be nice. Being licensed or BYO would also be very good Edited to respond to owner's comment: we are not local. We were on holiday exploring the Hawkesbury area and had a craving for Indian food. We found you through Google maps and saw you had good reviews and rating. I phoned ahead and made sure there was a table available. We didn't see what the space looked like ahead of time. Nothing in the reviews on Google mentioned that your restaurant is really more of a takeaway joint. I thought I'd give other diners the heads up in case they too are hoping for the usual Indian restaurant experience.

Can stand the taste, we order food twice not satisfied. Moreover staff nd owner is so arrogant. Instead of ordering food from them i feel like sleep empty stomach. Sorry mate, food taste is like---- i have no words to express. Lady Owner was very rude, i rang her to tell her about food she said don't buy food next time instead of apologising. If i have -5 Star ratings i could have given that towards her arrogance. Reply: As i cant reply so I am editing my review here to give you an answer. I think you must have a system where calls are recorded and you must be having CCTV as well. Plz hear that again if you forgot what you said. Just tell me where did I use abusive language. Use your CCTV . PLEASE CLARIFY. The clever and aggressive reply BY YOU clearly says it all. The way you are replying to your customer like this proves everything. Getting feedback from a customer is not a bad thing but you took it another way and said "Dont order from us ever again".

Paneer Tikka Masala and Jeera Rice were very good. Garlic Naan was good. Spinach Naan was good. However, the Lachha Parathas were very ordinary. They were dry, not flaky at all, and borderline crispy. You could mistake it for Tandoori Roti. We’ve had better Lachha Parathas. We’ve had food here multiple times, including dining-in. So, you can’t really fault their food. Food: 4/5 However, these guys really need to reconsider their delivery service. They charge you $10 and yet take 2 hours to deliver food. This is the 3rd time this has happened. I ordered food at 5:30pm and we received it around 7:30pm. I am not someone that comes online and rates a local business poorly, but this is not acceptable. Delivery: 2/5 Overall: Ofcourse we will continue to dine here and buy takeout but probably won’t order food to be delivered.

My wife and I visited Patiala House Indian Cuisine for lunch today and really enjoyed our experience! We found a nice spot in the sun next to the window and relaxed as our meals arrived with great customer service. The food was great! The spinach and cheese (vegetable menu) was a beautiful deep green colour and had a strong spinach taste - no frozen or watered down spinach here, the butter chicken was great and had just enough kick to remind us that we were experiencing Indian food. The lamb korma was nice and soft with a great serving of sauce on all the dishes (we also enjoyed the garlic naan - with flavour that you could see). We would definitely recommend Patiala House Indian Cuisine to others and we plan on going back again in the future - thank you for having us.

So dissapointed. Service was appalling, we didnt get one of our rices and an entree. We had to ask several times for our entree and drinks after others were served, in the end we had to get the drinks from the fridge ourselves and gave up on the 2nd entree. The Vindaloo wasn't hot at all, perhaps a medium at best. Been there before but from the last time we were there the service and quality has diminished. In the end we were overcharged for what we ordered as i calculated it based on the menu as we ordered..including the items that were not recieved.

Went for Sunday lunch based on good google reviews. We had the banquet. Generous servings, friendly staff and just generally pleasant. Price was reasonable as far as “country” prices go. Highly recommend the Aloo Baingan, garlic naan, samosas and pistachio kulfi. Only two negatives - our personal preference is for a little more seasoning particularly in the entrees and the bathrooms could do with a decent clean at least or even a cheap reno but we will definitely be back as a couple and with our family when they come to visit.

Food is awesome. The owner of the restaurant ,Dilbir is a wonderful chef. I am vegetarian and found he can cook almost all types of Indian curries you demand. The location of the restaurant is very approachable from the the Richmond station.Moreover, Dilbir and his team are wonderful people.

One of the best Indian food....delicious and authentic...Seekh Kebab, Lamb rogan josh, butter chicken, paneer tikka masala and chicken tikka masala were very nice...garlic naan and tandoori roti were cooked well...salted lassi was amazing...our host and chef Dalbir looked after us well with excellent customer service...recommended.

Very expensive and below average food quality. We ordered samosas which costed us 7.90$ for 2 pieces and they just warmed the frozen ones and served us. The fish fry was too oily and seemed frozen as well. Very disappointed.

Definitely the best Indian restaurant in Australia. I can't pick one favourite here. Everything is incredible like palak chicken, butter chicken, Amritsari fish. It's a bit far from the main Sydney but you won't regret the drive. Highly recommended.
