In response to the Owners Comment: Correct company - copy of refund attached. It was a beef pie - may have got the name of pie wrong. Had you called the store to check whether this happened or spoken to the Owner whom the manager spoke to, you wouldn't have needed to question it on my review. The whole experience was quite awful. Exactly - raw pastry - the Manager should have just acknowledged that, offer an apology, a refund or replacement instead he told me that it was normal. Clearly it is not. Had he acted appropriately I would not have needed to write the review. Maybe your staff need more training in the kitchen and customer service . He took my number - you should have it. There is nothing else to say. I’ll leave it up to you the reader to make your own decision. Here’s what happened. Supporting local business in these trying times and purchased a family Guinness beef pie for lunch with my hard earned money. Heated pie in oven. When cut there was this white substance oozing out from under the pastry. Looked like cheese sauce – there is no cheese sauce in Guinness pie! On further investigation, discovered it was raw pastry – not in the slightest bit cooked and had melted and mixed into the pie. Took the whole pie straight back to Patterson’s St Ives – still warm. The manager was awful, accusing me of not knowing the characteristics of pastry and arguing it was supposed to be like that. And then after my refusal to not accept that, only offering to send it to the “kitchen” to be investigated. Refusing to give me a refund. I requested to speak to the owner. The owner was not in the shop. I requested that he call. The manager was speaking to the owner, running a fork through the pastry. Only then did I get my refund. No acknowledgement of the sub-standard quality of pie, no apology for not initially giving me the refund, wasting my lunch break and the fact I had no lunch. Absolutely disgusting customer service and bad quality food. Will never purchase from any Pattison’s again. There are plenty other cafes that are appreciative of my patronage, with better service and quality food. Photo’s attached

How to make a coffee Measure your coffee. The standard ratio is approximately 2 tablespoons of coffee per 6 ounces of water. Don’t be afraid to add a few extra beans to be on the safe side – you can more approximately measure out your coffee using a scale after it’s ground. 2 Grind your coffee. Alright, this is where the coffee-making process really begins. Go for a finer roast if you want a sweeter cup of coffee, or a coarser grind if you’re aiming for a satisfying, weighty bitter. Make sure the grinder is clean before using, then feel free to press the magic button. 3 Prepare the water. You’ll want to prepare the water last, to ensure the water is the temperature you’re aiming for. Pour from the filter, and let the water sit off from the boil for about 30 seconds before immersing your coffee grounds in the French Press. 4 Pour. Saturate the grounds evenly with a smooth, steady pour that will agitate the coffee grounds. Do not put the lid on top of the brewer just yet. 5 Soak and stir. Let the grounds absorb the water for approximately 30 seconds before stirring – a few gentle motions using the back of a spoon around the top layer of the mixture and along the sides, to immerse any grounds that are stuck. 6 Brew. Let the water extract from the grounds for 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Less than that, and you’ll find your coffee may be too sweet or even sour. Any longer, and your coffee will be over-extracted and unappetizingly bitter – so, set a timer. 7 Plunge. There really is no wrong way to push here – just a simple, even push-through of the filter down to the bottom. However, it’s not a clogged toilet – don’t exert too much force or, of course, your coffee will splash. Or you may break the machine, if it’s glass. 8 Pour. Word to the wise: The flavor notes of your coffee will change as the cup cools. If at first you’re not tasting what was intended, let it continue to setup. What you taste when it’s piping hot is not what you’ll taste when it’s cooled to a lukewarm temperature.

Terrible customer service and logistical issues. Staff have no idea what they're doing. The barista may know how to make an okay cup of coffee but was watching the coffees and cakes piling up on the counter did nothing and didn't even recommend to the wait staff to deliver the many items piling up. We asked what was taking so long after half an hour and the waiter wouldn't even apologise for the delay and said it was nothing to do with him and to complain to the manager. I've worked in customer service all my life and I understand the pressure and stresses associated with it but being verbally aggressive with your customers because they asked why they're is a delay, is not on. Just a simple sorry for the delay can make all the difference. I'm sure this terrible culture comes from the manager of the franchise and the waiter is incredibly stressed from both management and customers, but just apologise and admit that you're too busy and or stressed. I would also like to point out I've had a wonderful experience at Paterson's in Hornsby and I'm sure some of there over stores are fine too. Do yourself a favour and do not visit this cafe.

I don't understand how a Cafe can run out of salt and pepper, but it's more frustrating as a response to our shock thye say it's due to covid 19. If this Cafe feared covid 19 to the point where they can't serve salt and pepper, they shouldn't be serving coffee food or anything. Close down. Other places serve salt and pepper, if they have covid 19 fears, they provide individual sachets of salt and pepper which restricts the spread of the virus, or they use the grinder for you. Not pattisons St Ives. Regardless of this nonsense, they undermine the customer by using covid 19 as an excuse. It's a world wide pandemic, everyone is aware of the virus and the rules and how it may affect businesses. Trying to use covid 19 as a reason for poorer service is pretty much calling the customer stupid. For the price they charge, the food isn't worth it, and the service is awful. Really leaves a bitter taste in your mouth.

Honestly the worst service ever as of late. You used to have great staff but for some reason, management only keeps the foul ones recently. It feels like a supermarket every time I've visited, and the staff glare at you if you take longer than 30 seconds to decide on your order - relax guys! A staff actually snapped at me when I ADDED to my order ("so are we done here or what?). My guess is that the manager wants to keep it fast paced and has made "fast" and lacking service a priority over customer satisfaction. Well congrats guys, you've lost my entire family's business and we are spreading the word about your incompetence! Definitely go to the chatswood patisson instead, maybe then you'll see a smile from staff that aren't exhausted from being overworked to "fast" service standards.

Spacious cafe / bakery on a quite busy intersection in St. Ives. Very consistent offering on the pricey side but always good quality and great coffee. Bit noisy outside with traffic from the A3 but a real locals spot, ample space and cover for you and your dog. Over zealous parking wardens from Ku Ring Gai council can mean incorrectly parked vehicles can be secretly photographed and you get a $272 fine on a Sunday arvo for a quick coffee takeaway fix. Staff are friendly, nearby South African store does crazy trade all weekend. Good for the odd bike rider too and there are lots of those on the A3 at weekends ! Cafe does tend to close up very promptly so suggest you get there at least 30 mins before closing or you will be sat looking at a bunch of upturned chairs on nearby tables.

I had big expectations when I stopped here. The service was quite shocking. I joined a queue and then when I got to the counter the person stopped serving. I was just left standing and had to join the end of a longer different queue. To add further insult when I finally got to order the item I wanted had just sold out! Once seated my coffee came and no sign of the item. We had to ask 3 times. Still nothing arrived. Had to go back in and re-explain to finally get the item after 30 mins waiting. A very poor customer service experience. Our group won't be going back. Why don't management implement a simple single queue or ticket system. It isn't hard. I think this business is taking advantage of its name/reputation, but with terrible service it won't last.

Avoid! Awful service - cold food and no apology! My wife and I had lunch here today. My food was hot, her food was cold. We complained and the waitress took the food away rolling her eyes. Ten minutes later, no replacement had materialised. We asked another member of staff and eventually a replacement dish was brought to our table. The same waitress dumped the plate on the table and started to walk away without making any comment. Only when I pointed out the lack of an apology loudly was any apology offered. This is simply not on. There is lots of choice within walking distance. We will be voting with our feet and hoping that when this cafe closes down, the cafe that replaces it will be better!

  • Iulia Brooks

Poor customer service. In our situation we said a large box - which the cake was packed in by mistake - is ok for us to take away. The staff member said yes and then walked away. Asking what they were doing, the supervisor came and said they have to repackage it, in the correct box. I explained we were in a rush, to please just give us the cake I had just paid for. Was told off and said it’s policy and we have to wait. Felt trapped and with nowhere to go other than yes, the staff is surely right and not the paying customer which we asked please just leave the cake as we have to go. Never again Pattison. Will take our business to the smaller family run bakeries in the neighbourhood.

Visited here on Friday. Took away a fruit tart, among other things. Custard had a tang to it, the pastry was soggy (not firm and structured) and as a result I was unable to eat it. kept it until next day just in case my smell was off or something, but the next day it was off. Super dissapointed as it was really expensive, and I rarely get to this patisserie, and expect the highest standards. This fruit tart had a black and white case on it, the ones on the front had a brown/darker case on them. Looked amazing at the front, then got the old one from the back. Really disheartened and reconsidering going back due to this.

I ordered a takeaway tea and the person that served me ?forgot about passing on my order to the barista. I thought i was being looked after. I waited and waited and finally asked one of the staff members how much longer my tea would take. She told me that there was no order placed. I continued to hold on but unfortunately no tea. I asked again and said i needed to leave. Th barista finally decided to make it only because i pushed. She should have made it on the spot condisidering how long i waited - at least 20 minutes! Ive never waited for a takeaway drink that long in my life. I will never go back there again. Shame

  • Shamim Kholosi

The food is quite tasteful and decent quality, it was a shame that the coffee was average. Unfortunately, I did not believe that the food nor service is worthy of the price tags fixed to their foods and drinks. Whilst the 2% surcharge for Amex is standard for most small businesses, I would not categorise Pattinson's as a small business. Also, the 20-35% hike increase if the customers wishes to dine-in is completely appalling - what exactly is the justification for such highway robbery? I also did not like it how the waitress came and cleared the table literally seconds after I had finished my meal and coffee.

  • Fair

I can not describe how annoyed I am after going there! I have been going to this shop for the past 5 years, I did put up with a lot of mistakes as I think those things can happen and we are meant to support our local shops… However, today the young lady sold me a ham & cheese and she even told her colleges that it was the last one. A minute after ( the ham & cheese was in the toaster already ) I heard them saying that accidentally they sold one to a table and then they came to me and said that I couldn’t have it anymore. I am never going back to this place and I hope a better shop takes it over!

  • Amy Stirling

Large range French style bakery. Lots of pastries and cakes to choose from. I went in at 7am and it was buzzing with most tables full. Ordered an almond latte and it took quite some time to be ready (not sure why, it looked like staff were still busy setting up) but the flavour was spot on and temperature just right. I will definitely go back and try out a pastry. Has outdoor seating if you want to bring your dog or get out of the hustle indoors. Sandwich range was also extensive with a bunch of egg and savoury based tarts, etc

  • Jessica Ray

The only friendly staff member seems to have left, and it's no wonder. The atmosphere is terrible, the old lady hovers and talks to the staff so poorly I'm surprised they still have a business running. She has no etiquette when it comes to talking to the staff, and is happy to be horrible in front of customers no wonder you see 5 new faces every week! I see some of the staff roll their eyes when she is wondering about and it's a shame when it's busy all the young ones seem to be pushed and the "managers" do nothing!

  • Reza Rafiee

Nice spot, good coffee and some good birthday cakes. Ifnyou need to buy a birthday cake at a reasonable price but don't want to buy Cheesecake shop's caramel cake for the 20th time then you might want to check out the cakes at this place. It's located in St. Ives close to Gordon, Pymble and surrounding areas. There is no carpark right in front of the shop, but you should be able to find one down the road. I got a Chocolate Bomb birthday cake and overall the taste, freshness, design and price was alright.

My family and I have always been a fan of Pattinson's. Their pies and quiches are great. We absolutely love their cakes, esp. the Conrad and the cheesecakes. Recently had lunch here - coffee and the chicken walnut sandwich were incredible!

Elder skinny little Asian lady served me at the counter and was giving me rude attitude over coffee cup sizes and whether I want to dine in or out. Seriously, there are plenty of people who’d be happy to have your job and assuredly wouldn’t find it so difficult to put on a friendly face and smile. Especially when you’re representing Pattisons in St Ives. Coffee - On par with a cheap Bunnings coffee. Danish - Aged and not fresh, made me feel sick afterwards, yuck.

  • Fonti Kar

Lovely venue, friendly staff. We got our road trip pastries to go. Bought the sausage roll, spinach feta roll and creamy chicken pie. The spinach and feta is worth trying! A very cheesy feta comes through. Great savoury homey flavour in the creamy chicken pie. Would prefer the pastry to be more flaky, these ones are more on the doughy side. Sausage roll filling is aberage, can taste the breadcrumb/filler. Bonus: Tomato sauce was included in price enjoy!

  • Deepti M

The food was bearable, but not the best. They forgot our order and we had to remind them three times. The cashiers were very friendly though. One of the waitress was acting a bit off. She gave us visibly dirty cutlery and dropped a knife on my foot. Luckily nobody was hurt. We noticed that her behaviour towards Asians was different. She also forgot the order of an older gentleman who was from Asia but seemed to be serving non Asians very promptly.

  • Real P

Good food, appalling service. Food was okay but the positive certainly doesn't outweigh the negative. Took multiple tries to order from their menu that had no mention of the choices that weren't available, with the staff member responding bluntly and offering no suggestions.. then followed by an extremely long wait for them to simply put a pie on a plate and bring it out. Definately didnt feel like a valued customer.

  • Stefan Pulpitel

Busy and great bread and other products. Coffee could be a bit better and it tends to be a bit chaotic in terms of orderly service. Not a terribly nice place to sit and enjoy a coffee anyway. The decor is dark and cold inside and the outdoor seating is disturbed by the road. It's not bad by any means, just.. average. There are nicer places to enjoy your time, and better of similar coffees available.

  • King of Kings

Great choice for a bakery. Huge range. This place serves pecan tarts which is a rare find. However the p ecan tart was npt upto my expectations and some pastries top was pretty average The coffee ( which is important to me) was a bit below my expectations, hence 4 stars. The service and staff were good. Will give it another try with other pastries and update the review if something changes

  • M P

The tall man who said I am the owner or manager... not sure which one he mentioned that worked on Sunday in the afternoon was absolutely rude. He made coffee as well. His coffee was not good as well but more important things that I can say was his bad behaviour. I have been in different pattison patisserie all of them the staff and managers quiet nice but that man behaviour was terrible

  • Gwen Strick

I was in the Rouse Hill store yesterday morning and ordered some vanilla slices to take away. The pastry on the slices is really burnt to the point where the burnt flavour is imparted on the custard. I also had a raspberry brioche which was dry despite the custard and compote. It's a shame because everything looks so nice but I do have to question how fresh the cakes/pastries are.

  • hope parnell

Live across the road from this place and go EVERYDAY. Sure the owner is a bit grouchy (as mentioned in a previous post) but her staff are amazing. Steve and Fran are our favorites! As far as patisserie food goes you’ll struggle to find better. The coffee is “A Grade”. You may line up but it moves quickly and it’s worth it. Open 6am to 6pm this place is a winner (7am Sunday’s).

  • Robert Webber

On the whole, over the years I have been eating there the food is more than up to scratch however the staff seem to be very miserable. From what I can observe the people who seem to be running the show are very miserable. I'm sure that this miserable approach to running their business is rubbing off on the staff bringing about the negative reviews regarding customer service.

  • L L

Drove 20 min out of my way on a Sunday after i had checked their website which says Mona Vale store closes Sunday 530pm. Arrived at 4:55pm and doors were locked and they were packing up. Their website says open until 530pm (i checked it again after going back to my car). Waste of fuel and time and energy. This company doesnt respect it's customers time, energy or money.

  • Elissa Watt

Me and my husband stopped here for a single coffee on a Saturday morning and we were waiting 20 minutes and decided they had forgotten our order. We were very late to our event. No apology from staff when we asked about our forgotten drink. Everything seemed chaotic and the logistics definitely need re-thinking. I could hear others making complaints to the staff also.

  • Andrew Bryant

Place seems to have lost focus on customers. Bad experience today, staff forgot my food order and had to be prompted, then when we opened the paper bags at the park the toasted croissants had been burnt black. Whatever were they thinking serving food in that state. Clearly not caring about their customers. Think twice before ordering takeaway from this place.

  • Mark L

Great little patisserie. It has a massive selection, mostly sweet, but some savoury. They also roast their own coffee, which tastes great. Nice place to visit for breakfast or afternoon tea, with plenty of space to chill. There's also outdoor seating for warmer times of the year, but it faces quite a bit of busy traffic. The staff were also quite nice

  • Kim Hyojung

What a horrible service. The Asian middle aged service provider at the cash counter yells at customers out of her frustration, which sounds very annoying and ruins the relaxing cozy mood of my coffee break. The coffee tastes excellent but I definitely won't visit this cafe again.( not necessary for service provider to be aggressive at customers)

  • Charline mewa

Just spent $70 and the girl could not give me a bag or tell me if I wanted a bag before I paid for my items. I have to walk so far carrying a big box and a bag of 1kg coffee. Terrible service. I’m not happy because I am a regular customer to be treated like. I would like to speak to the owner of store! Left message and no call back. Not happy.

  • Sebastian Gonz

Place it's alright, lot of tables, good ambience, the customer attention I have to say not the best, employees joking around just doesn't fit with the image of the business. A lot of sweets to choose. Last time I tried Croque monsieur and it wasn't really fresh. Could be better. Coffee it's really good that I can't deny.

  • Raman Kholupau

We visited them on Sunday. Good atmosphere. Great variety of desserts. The eclairs were good. Do not recommend to try the palmers - dry. Service can be better - may be on Sundays they have part time workers. Anyway, they did their best and were extremely friendly. Dog friendly terrace. Coffee and tea were great.

  • Holly Murphy

Just picked up a coffee here, honestly the worst almond latte I’ve had, it was so foul tasting. Their Caramel milkshake was also missing the caramel. Disappointed as it has a great selection of cakes and just didn’t meet expectations. Frustrating when you spend money on coffee and it’s way below average.

  • B Sinc (GBU7)

Always tasty pies, pastries and cakes. There is a big selection so you can always find something - Eclairs, brownees and cheesecake go down a treat in our household. I can't resist when I'm in there for an arvo coffee! Pattisons is open later than some of the other cafes in the area which is a bonus.

  • Jess Madsen

Nice coffee but expensive with prices back in the dark ages where soy milk costs 60c extra... $5.40 for what costs me $4.00 in McMahons point is steep! Also staff are busy chatting whilst tables stack up with used cups and plates... Stanley St cafe (around the back) still the best cafe in St Ives

  • Morgan Wood

After waiting 25min for my coffee and pie I enquired as to how much longer it would be and was rudely told 'ive got 30,000 coffees to make mate'. Then I had to wait another 15 min after i finally got my coffee for the pie...which makes no sense as it was just in the pie warmer...won't be back.

  • Sandor Molnar

Stoped by in the morning for quick coffee, rasin toast and bought baguette. Looks great , but when ordering rasin toast and explaining how it needs to be cooked and buttered, then obviously problem in I training new or current staff. Coffee , was tastless, and forgot lactose part. Shame..

  • Gigi Jephcott

Very expensive for rather average baked goods. Order was taken incorrectly despite having the correct items reiterated on order. A refund for the difference was offered. $5 for a tiny rather meh mince pie. The shop looks nice but you get better value and quality from most generic cafes.

  • Nessrin Khalid

Great coffee, lovely spot, above average food but slow service. Limited options in the local area means this cafe could easily be the standout but painfully slow service really holds the place back. Popularity on the weekends amongst locals only adds to the wait time unfortunately.

  • Rebecca Caruana - Platinum Artist Development

Used to be my go to. Gone down hill. After rude service, i was over charged, Paid $25 for a small latte and a ham cheese tomato panini, with no ham.

Lovely place, I would say lovely customer service too but then I'd be lying. Left us waiting at the counter for a couple minutes while they were just standing there, then they proceeded to forget our order and left us waiting outside. Had to come back in twice to remind them.

  • Fee Yeng Yee

My husband went in on Sunday morning at 8:30am to pick up a large fruit Fran. All cakes were yesterday’s stock. Was told that cakes would be coming in at 12pm. Couldn’t reserve and pay for a large fruit Fran to be picked up at 2pm. Cake Shop that doesn’t sell fresh cakes!!!

  • Rab B

There is a huge difference between the display and what you are actually served when you order takeaway. I ordered a snail which was almost uncooked and with very little fruit. You used to be very good. Please serve what you display not a lower quality under the bench.

  • Keyhan Nouriafshar

Good selection of coffee and cakes, almond croissants are the best, we are local and most of the weekend breakfast are there, would say some more attention to detail is required, had to returned our pastries for proper heat up, otherwise is our preffered coffee shop,

  • NINA OP

I find all the staff very arrogant in the St Ives Pattison Cake shop as they are the only cake shop in the area. Their ordering facility is non-flexible and rigid. Have had 3 bad experiences. We need more cake shops in St Ives!!!! Even 1 * is to much of a rating.

  • Valery

Just WOW! Blown away by the beautiful selection of cakes. Fell in love with the raspberry cheesecake. Fantastic flavour. This place has a huge selection and nice cafe to sit in and eat. Keep in mind each item is on average $7-$9, so Deffinetly a birthday treat :)

  • Dreu holt

Walked into new store in Erina. Three people behind counter. Not one person said anything to me . I finally got someone's attention by saying excuse me?? The lady in charge was so dismissive and rude. I wont return and I'll no longer support the hornsby store

  • Sunny Gilchrist

Our coffees and pastries were ordinary. Coffee was bitter and cakes were stale. Experience was further ruined after overhearing large manager berating a young female employee. There was no need for that level of anger and hostility. Never going back again.

  • Chrissy Williams

Other than it’s great location for a coffee and cake it has nothing else to offer. Many lovely well managed coffee shops in the area so I definitely won’t be returning to Pattisons. Overpriced Terrible service Dirty uncleared tables Limited bread options

  • Frank Fath

Never come back to this place where only one group of customers are welcome and the others are not served properly or have to wait longer in favour of that group. Have been there a couple of times and watched their behaviour. Today was the last one.

  • Noah Djordjevic

Lovely place, but… Customer service left us waiting at the counter while they were just standing there, then forgot our order and left us waiting at a table for 15 minutes on a quiet morning before our coffees came, having asked about them twice.

  • Jacqui Dredge

Great little cafe. Large selection of cakes and pastries which look amazing and taste really good. The coffee was surprisingly good too. On the more expensive side, and not the typical breakfast menu - but still a great spot for a relaxed snack.

  • Deb Organ

I like the coffee and pastries there and also have been getting their sourdough bread for a while Recently noticed the loaf is getting shorter and thinner but still the same price, almost one third of it is missing. I was disappointed ☹️

Very pleasant and welcoming staff, were happy to accommodate us to eat in even though it was almost closing time. Coffee was good and the desserts we tried were delicious. Would definitely recommend a visit to this nice and cosy eatery.

  • Akshay Mehta

Worst coffee around St Ives! Gave Pattisons multiple chances and each time either coffee was not made to the order or tasted awful. Also found staff lacking in politeness. Do recommend coffee a few doors down from Pattisons.

  • Paul Hodges

Been several times, service very slow with few customers, waited 15 minutes for food arrival yesterday, had to ask several times.when it was coming. No apologies. Disappointing. Pretentious....not my cup of tea (or coffee)!

Only a small offering of gluten free delights. Tends to be same old same old. Consistency needs some work. Very simple products generally well executed but lacking in "wow". For the prices, would expect something better.

  • Robyn Martin

Amazing cupcakes! What a treat for our Gordon FC girls to receive delicious cup cakes from Pattison’s to celebrate Female Football Week. Thumbs up from the whole team Thank you Pattison’s for supporting our club! …

  • Shaun Henson

Walking in here reminded me of walking into an authentic patisserie in Paris. The selection is amazing and the coffee is well worth stopping for even if you don’t choose one of the amazing looking pastries or cakes.

  • Eamon Daly

Continue to be disappointed with the clearing and cleaning of tables over the past few months. The number of tables that are not cleared and cleaned down properly takes away from an otherwise nice coffee experience.

  • Glenn Dickings

Coffee and cakes are decent but service is a bit of a mess. Slow and forgetting orders without even an apology on a quiet day. There is enough decent coffee shops around st ives that I won’t be waiting my time here

  • GS Abhishan

The cherry danish was delicious, and a good size. Price wise I paid $10.40 which is actually not bad for a dine in large soy decaf and danish. I would recommend Pattisons for an early morning weekend stop in.

We went to this shop today Sunday 13th January to have a coffe and cake but walked out after seeing blue flies sitting on the cakes. What does it cost to stop this happening? Surely they lost us as customers

  • Christian Biggins

Wasn't bad. The pie and spinach roll I got were delicious but not overly hot. I thought it was quite expensive and despite the place only being a third full it took a while for my food and coffee to arrive.

  • Nathan Ryan

Got a take away coffee and toasty from here. Coffee and food was good The place was very busy and was well presented But no napkins available Or given out with the takeaway orders And that’s disappointing.

  • Daly Family

Used to be a regular here but no longer. Despite pretty good coffee, the service is dreadful, dirty tables are left until requested to clean, not wiped down between customers. Not a happy vibe from staff.

Pattisons is so overpriced and so deeply average. Their coffees and fresh bread are pretty good, but their cakes, pastries, sandwiches and quiches always taste like they’re a couple of days old.

  • Nat W

I know it's a franchise but I'd love to know what all the staff are doing! I counted more than 10 staff working at Pattison's this morning and there were customers queueing up and being ignored.

Great range of snacks. Good coffee. Slow table service for food - coffee arrived promptly but food component took another 15min. Something going wrong between Front of House and Barista Station

  • Caroline Foldes

We always find something nice to eat here, sweet or savoury. Not a wide selection of refrigerated drinks though. Handy location near St. Ives Showground, and nice, undercover outdoor seating

UPDATE: Have been reimbursed for the error. Thank you ORIGINAL: Ordered one large cap. with oat milk takeaway which came to $10.80. I only discovered the cost upon checking my bank balance.

Fabulous service as always, had the most unusual but delicious toasted sandwich. Egg and cheese and other stuff on top absolutely delish. Coffee well what can I say...perfection.

  • Yu vi

They have some tasty looking pastries and cakes but the soy latte was very poor. They did not stretch the milk which left the coffee tasting like hot milk with coffee flavour.

Great Cafe with loads of choice. The chicken sourdough sandwich was terrific. The pastries looked spectacular as well. Will definitely be back the next time I am in the area.

Pattison’s St Ives sponsors our local football club. They provided some cupcakes for a girls training event - they were beautiful and delicious. Would order from them again.

Great place to stop for coffee and cake. Bought chocolate brownie square to take home. Paid $22 which l thought very steep until l tried it! OMG the best Brownie ever.....

  • Arshia Kamalzadeh

The Almond Croissant was delicious but it was cold and no one asked me to toast it or not! And i was waiting too long to get my coffee and it was felt a little bit cold.

Have had great coffee and food for years… new management has decided to turn up loud music in the morning so staff have to shout out orders… very dopy and silly really

  • Wayne L

$13 for a small sandwich $6.50 small sausage Roll Service everyone looked confused Way over priced for portion size Sandwich was average Sausage roll was pretty good

  • Jesse Piserchia

Pastries and cakes very nice a little bit pricey but a lot fresher than most places so worth it! Coffee is not too bad and all the staff are very nice and efficient

I have been having a Pattisons coffee for ages and I love it. But this mrng at 7:15am the coffee was exceptional and I let the Barista know that! Thank you guys!!

  • Clint Wasserman

Expensive, but the coffee is good and the cakes and pastries taste very good. However.... $18 for some small slice of Rocky Road is just way over the top !!

  • JP

Very very very slow. Pastries where soft and old. Coffee average. Free tables had not been cleared of dirty plates for the 60 minutes we were there..

  • James Christie

Quality of the food was good. But couldn't understand why at lunchtime there wasn't and hot food ready to go. Was forced to wait for a meat pie....

  • Pezsuz ****

Excellent selection of delicious looking cakes and pastries and other lovely edibles....with great coffee.....prompt service despite being busy....

  • Anton LEE

Foods are not good and serve really slow and even missed items ordered. Staff are keen to help to correct your grammar mistakes when you order.

  • Caro & Keith Napier

Lovely place for some coffee and pastries, cakes, and sandwiches. Good selection, but it would be nice if they did some cooked breakfasts too.

  • Wayne Patience

Outside tables not cleared after other dinners, had to do it myself. Over priced for the cake and pie coffee was cold and week. Want go back.

  • Chris Pavlich

Had the pepper beef pie. Simply delicious! Big chunks of beef and yummy thick gravy. They were very busy but we had great friendly service.

  • David Tobias Ralph

Food is great but service is always too slow and unapologetic, best suited for takeaway, 45 minutes for an iced long black and x2 pastries

  • tom ellis

I love their coffee and their Custard tarts.... They are the best....7 people behind the counter but service still a little slow....

  • Karl Chong

Coffees are great and so are the pastries. Avoid the pastries in the fridge, you want the almond croissant, danishes and brioche...
