"i missed council consultation, so like to put my comment here"
"Hollywood Parks describes this park as " A beachfront park in Hollywood's South Beach area"
"The original location of Bankstown Council and its predecessors, is now the Paul Keating Park"
"Bankstown is surrounded by parks and trees"
"Great place to seat and take in the view plus let the kids by their balls game"
i missed council consultation, so like to put my comment here. i hope the park has more rubber areas for kids to play. hope to see table and benches under the cover, so people can have bbq and eat, without share space with the birds. exercise equipment can be dot around the side of the park to encourage people to walk. as to kid play area, set 2 areas, one of little ones but another for older children. consider if the park being great, the surrounding business is a boom, like strathfield park, once completed, even the ice cream van comes as well to serve people. so it will be good for surrounding businesses. people play then need to eat.
Hollywood Parks describes this park as " A beachfront park in Hollywood's South Beach area. Keating's shade trees provide a welcome respite from the South Florida sun for families enjoying the beach. Park amenities include benches, a children's slide and restrooms." This postage stamp size park sits nestled between towering Condos at the end of Magnolia Terrace, a short street linking it to S. Ocean Drive. There is metered parking available on this street. City bus and the Hollywood trolley (stop 7) stop at the intersection where the park sign is.
The original location of Bankstown Council and its predecessors, is now the Paul Keating Park. A beautiful memorable park for locals and café owners and their visitors. This park brings back so many memories since my school days spent at the old Bankstown Library, browsing catalogues and learning how to use the very first computers, when library cards were used as photo I.Ds and mobile phones were yet to become popular amongst the youth of today.
Bankstown is surrounded by parks and trees. Right at the center is this park, named after Mr. Paul Keating, a former Prime Minister, who came from this area. Popular park hosting all outdoor activities of the local communities. It features a kid's playground. The Bankstown-Canterbury Council, the library, the cinema, Central shopping centre, Little Saigon, train station, bus terminal, and soon Metro, all around the corner.
Great place to seat and take in the view plus let the kids by their balls game. Also great place to seat and drink coffee on a sunny day and listen to the birds chirp in the trees above while relaxing. You can get to Paul Keating Park by foot for the train or foot for Bankstown Centro Bus and you can drive your car and park it at the Paul Keating Park carpark or at Bankstown library.
Being across from Council Chambers I expected this Park to be kept nice and clean. Tons of dried leaves. Obviously it wasn't cleaned RECENTLY. Unfortunately it is neither clean or nice. I believe that such a politician and statesman as Paul Keating DESERVE a lot nicer and a lot bigger Park than the current one. What a disappointment …
The park is small but seems to be the meeting place for lots of families. There's play equipment for kids and an ampitheatre (although I've not seen an event using it). The surrounds are nice (with the nearby trees), and there are plenty of places to get takeaway to eat in the park.
Paul Keating park wow what a name Nice all round there is plenty to do in the park it seams small but when you experience the park you will understand the size of it . You got one side of the park is all knowledge and the other is relaxing playing well designed
This is quite a nice community park which is large enough to host festivals and large scale events. The grass and gardens are always well looked after trimmed. I do recommend this community park if anyone feels like going to a normal community park.
A peaceful, green space in the heart of the Bankstown civic precinct. Its closeness to everything, links to each of the shopping centres and accessibility via public transport make this an excellent and clean gathering space for its residents.
Fabulous concert by the SSO. First time in Bankstown. Council should utilise this area for regular free musical events every weekend. Shame it's not designed for such. The mobile steel fencing is so uninviting.
Go here regularly with my four year old. The other day l attended the free bankstown children's festival in the grass area of the park .My child loved all the rides and various activities and performances
It's a pleasant Park amidst the busy streets and large buildings. Nice for families and always entertaining. The addition of the new library is very welcoming and makes the whole place look modern.
Nice, fairly large, fairly clean open space of grass with an adjacent park, tree lined path, and right in front of the library. Cafes and shop close by. Decorated brightly for this time of year.
Great family oriented park with cafes close by, perfect for that sunny weekend morning of the children playing while sipping coffee and socializing.
Playground
Good for toddlers and kids
This park has changed alot over the years updated with cafes just literaly opposite the park which is so convenient if u wana have a coffee or a feed n the kids r safe playing right front of u
Nice relaxing atmosphere infront of the Bankstown education precinct, great place to study and unwind. Small play equipment for the little ones offto the side and in a central location.
This park is always full of activities. Located st the heart of bankstown city. Strategic place as near to bankstown central and library. Have an outdoor playground even for disabled.
Awsome park to take this kids to if your in Bankstown! It's near the station, Cinema and also McDonald's is only 2 mins up the road! And Bankstown Square is across the road.
I'm posting for the cafe, not the park. The cafe is a healthy option for all sorts of foodies, vegetarian, gluten free, protein, vegan diets. Excellent coffee and service.
Its great for little ones as the ground is patted, but I'd give 3 stars cause it is dirty and is near a corner where cars fly around would be great if it was fully fenced
Its a good small park adjacent with library and a big ground with a running track. It has slides and swings for kids. There are public washrooms and coffee shops nearby.
Paul Keating Park is figuratively a bridge between the maddening crowd of Bankstown City and the serene academic setting of the Bankstown Library... A cooling off area.
The park isn’t too bad and always fun for the kids. Shame some people are just filthy and inconsiderate leaving their rubbish behind which attracts a lot birds.
It was one of the best places in Bankstown. But the new University under construction is going to ruin this beautiful place. It's going to be too crowded.
The kids play area needs a massive refurbishment given its looks 100 years old. The park requires better lighting, particularly around daylight savings
No shades and the public toilet is a myth ... not as good as other parks in sydney ... paramatta park .. hyde park ... parks in the hills area …
This park has kids play area, open field and is next to the Library. They often have events booked and it used to be a great place to catch Pokemon!
I visit when im in Bankstown, for a break, unwind a little! Play area for my grandchildren. Restaurants and shops nearby, its an entertaining treet!
Has kids rides and a place for them to run around and ride your bike. Has night lights which makes visibility good for evening jogs.
Large open area, decent parking nearby. The play area isn't the best, but it's okay. Lots of Pokestops if that's what you're into.
Nice peaceful park, clean toilets, no disturbances. Not big or nice enough for a picnic but good for a quiet sit down with a book.
Good place for kids and there parents The only downside is the gathering of young teenage girls smoking with much much older guys
Good place to hang out with kids. Needs a bit more lighting at nights but is generally secure due to police presence nearby.
Great spot to take the kids as theres a shaded playground and the park area is spaceous enough to get your kids to run wild
Has a children's park, library, a coffee shop, lots of benches, trees, birds all around, vast lawns and what have you.
Paul no where to be seen, if I had paid money for entry, I would of demanded it back. Grass was well maintained though
A small park that the kids love but that falls into disrepair frequently. Probably because it's a high traffic area.
Centrally located in Bankstown. A lot of sitting spaces with an area for kids to play. Bankstown plaza is next to it
Great for the smaller children, some nice cafes nearby, picture theatre next door and shopping mall across the road.
Great sets of play equipment, big open space for kids to run and free two hour parking. Close proximity to Centro.
This Park has every facility for a Family with all ages children. This is a perfect recreation place for Mums.
Love the space, the cleanliness; the seating and space. Wonderful to buy a kebab, come and eat it in the park.
Nice clean park.Closed to amenities like restaurants, public transport etc.Kids playing area is small but ok.
Just a park to sit down in to rest a short while whence out shopping clean and tidy near the local library
Recently became a popular playground for Pokemon Go players. The park is nice and close to many amenities.
Good place for the kids to play, everyone walks and doing exercise. Nice flower- lavender and rose. …
This is Bankstow's main central park and is use for seasonal, musical and a veriety selebration events.
Nice park outside bankstown knowledge center with a kids playground, park benches, and public restrooms
Lovely place to hang out with the kids, let them run around while you relax and drink your coffee
In the centre of town next to public toilets and heaps of shopping .great to see family out
Large open space park. Relaxing. Cluster of four Pokestops and a number of Ingress Portals.
A very nice play area got kids and great proximity to cafes, library and Bankstown Centro
Clean Park great place to take kids to play have a run around and also nice to just relax
Near to Bankstown Library, station central even if 10 minutes and you can arrive at TAFE.
Bankstown council needs to provide more paking spaces. Feels claustrophobic at Bankstown.
Its nice place to relax with friends and not very far from Bankstown shopping centre
Needs to bw updated and toilets are disgusting. Only nice part is the awesome cafe
Big park, library, public toilet, restaurant, best place for family and friends
It was very nice and clean, and the culter the Knafe van brought is outstanding
Nice park need to have more places for easy access to strollers and wheelchairs
Nice little park, has playground and amphitheater. Good for any small event.
Nice and quiet and well away from shopping centre...perfect for a time out.
Great place for festivals and markets. Some good statues and pokèstops too
Best place for pokemon go, with 6+ poke stops and 4 right in the center
My kids like this park. Best suits kids under 6 as it is a small park.
Safe, secured and nice park for spending time with family and friends.
Plenty spaces for kids. Convenience located to main shopping centre.

Nice little Park. I was there for an hour but I like it. …
Very good park for kids activities and library is really good
Admittedly the five stars were for Paul Keating not the park
Not well maintained park. Close to streets not safe for kids
