Shocking tantrum from a staff member who yelled inaccurate veterinary advice at me . I called as I was shopping around for dog daycare, I was gathering info from a few places. I have a puppy and wanted to confirm that they ensure all dogs are up to date with vaccinations and if it was ok to send my puppy who was not yet due for his third shot. They said sure that’s fine and to fill out an enrolment form that they would email me. The form was PDF and couldn’t be filled out electronically. I asked if they could print, they sent an email back saying they could print it the following week but it was fine if I filled out and returned digitally. I went to the trouble of typing out all the questions and answers in the email body a few days later. After I submitted the form, I got a call from Valentina. She said they don’t take puppies <16 weeks (all puppies must be 16 weeks for their third shot). I said ok that’s fine, although was not impressed I had specifically asked and had wasted my time filling out the form, a form that simply stated l dogs must be “up to date” with vaccinations, which my dog is. She said she was the manager as if to imply her expertise was more valuable, but demonstrating no accountability for the false information her team had provided me. I was perfectly fine with their specific policy not allowing puppies less than four months old, I have no issue with their internal policies. After I said ok, she started carrying on about how my dog couldn’t go to any daycare as it was dangerous for him to be around any other dogs. I said that’s not accurate, if they don’t take puppies his age that’s fine, but to tell me daycare anywhere was impossible was not. I had asked my vet and been advised he is safe around fully vaccinated adult dogs or puppies on a schedule like his. She kept insisting I shouldn’t put him any day care and started to raise her voice, it was a conversation going no where and after (for some reason) attempting to calm her down I hung up on her. I have since put him in daycare a mere 300m from this place and he loved it. I’m keen to socialise him in this period and he attends puppy school with other puppies at a vet’s further down crown. I don’t appreciate unsolicited advice from somebody who is not qualified, especially when it is delivered in such an audacious and rude manner. The run around getting different information from this place was one thing, having a stranger insist on telling me what to do with my own pet while I was trying to end the conversation for a while was absolutely another. The first person I spoke to seemed lovely, but please note you don’t have to take abuse from anyone in this area as there are plenty of nearby competitors.

Lovely staff & new premises more open; spacious... Compared to places like "pertbarn " with the 2 hr delivery I've discovered that not only convenient fir emergency supplies & my not so little puppy Mutu loves them as he gets within a 10m & training goes out the window as he's on a mission to run in & say hi to everyone. The staff are always helpful & accommodating but the prices are in areas I would not have expected like bulk items or bones are actually 60+ percent better value & accident solutions haha 25%+ cheaper. The things I thought or would use an online service for or if you do I'd strongly recommend you pop in to them 1st as oftwn more times than not online are out of stock on the actual items you went online in the 1st place. Only negative comment I have is we're sad as we can't access there services but it's absolutely understandable as my puppy was small enough to pull off the daycare he's just a big softy but a golden collie so not really suited at 35+kg lol Though the time he spent here was & has been invaluable as he's just drops to the ground when he sees any dog even when the little ones are loosing their minds over his size making sure he knows his place lol He just takes it in hos stride fortunately & I do believe only because we fortunately discovered them at the beginning so excellent exposure & socialisation for a larger breed like him. So let your pups be the judge im yet to see any unhappy 4 or 2 legged animals look dissatisfied

I absolutely love Paw4Friends in Darlinghurst! The staff is amazing, and my dog always comes home happy and tired from a day of playtime. But what truly sets this place apart is the wonderful staff. The owner clearly loves dogs, and it shows in the care that my furry friend receives at this facility. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure my dog has a great time during daycare. They take the time to get to know each dog individually and provide personalised attention to meet their needs (Ava loves cuddles). On top of all of that, the staff is also very knowledgeable and provides great advice on dog care. Booking in is a breeze, and the price is very reasonable for the level of care they provide. I highly recommend Paw4Friends to any dog owner looking for a safe and fun environment for their furry friend/ fur baby :).

Paw4Friends have been a LIFE saver for us after we moved to Sydney with our cat. When we first arrived in Sydney, we visited to stock our apartment with everything we'd need to get our cat settled in. The staff was incredibly helpful in getting us everything we'd need — and also let us know they offer Pet sitting if need be. Whenever we travel, we can trust that the Paw4friends staff will visit our cat to feed her and give her some attention. They have been wonderful with sending us pictures and updates so that we know everything is okay while we are gone. 5 stars — would totally recommend Paw4friends for both their store and their services!

My Pet World has to be the best pet care business in Sydney. I have been going for 4 years now every week and my dog Franklin loves it. The staff are very professional, caring and do an incredible job. I highly recommend them to all my friends. If you want a pet care service or grooming place that truly cares about your pet, you can look no further. I only ever take my dog to people I trust, and My Pet World is the only grooming place I would recommend. I have been using the services at Paw4friends for almost a year now. I couldn’t have asked for a better daycare for my furry baby. They take such good care of him and ensure he’s fed and walked regularly. My dog used to get anxious around other dogs earlier. While he still doesn’t initiate play with them (he’s a senior dog) but he’s much more comfortable around them thanks to the efforts of the staff at daycare. And has now started approaching them when he sees them outside as well! Thank you Rio, Val and all the amazing people at Paw4friends for taking care of Uno like your own! ❤️

I first met Rio when we lived around the corner from the shop. Back then he was in a tiny little shop which had not much more than a few beds and some food. How times have changed! Several years later he is not just 'Uncle Rio' to our bulldog Austin but he is also a close personal friend. I know when Austin is with anyone at My Pet World he will be spoiled with love and treats. Everything he and the team do from stocking the best food to finding the cutest toys is all because of their passion for animals. The team are all fantastic and you can tell they truly love what they do.

What an amazing team at Paws & Co. We have been taking our pug to Rio and his awesome team for 3 years and she adores them all. They go above and beyond to care for the puppies that visit them. The team looked after our pug Lucy over the Xmas holidays - even when she was unwell - and despite us wanting to come back from a trip early, they assured us they would look after her - and that they did. She was a very unwell little pug and the team were so fantastic! Lucy goes to day care once a week and cannot wait to run in the front door!

Seems like the person who goes by the name of "throw away" has never left any comment other than the comment on this business. I wouldn't be surprised to find out a competitor is behind it. In any case, I'd just like to say I love seeing small businesses being passionate in what they do as it reflects back into every aspect of their job, and you can tell that such is the case for Paws & Co. This is a great local pet store and we have been coming to Paw4Friends for years. Always friendly staff and huge selection of everything you would ever need! If they don’t have something, e.g. special diet food, they are always willing to see how they can help. Paw4Friends also look after our cats - depending on how long we are away we use them for either day visits or overnight stay. They always spend timing playing with our babies and send pics and videos which is really great. Fantastic service!

Our little Brussels Griffon absolutely loves going to Paw4Friends day care. It was recommended to us by another local Griffon owner, and she is always so happy to go there. As fussy puppy parents we want to make sure our little one is in safe hands and looked after like the princess she is. It is a great place for socialising your dog, and they have great products too. Small numbers in the day care, they go out for walks and you get great little photo and video updates. Definitely recommend!

What a great pet store - it's amazing how much they manage to pack into a small space - they always seem to have whatever I need. The staff are incredibly knowledgable and very nice and helpful, and I'm just a bit addicted to their lovely Instagram stories that brighten my day. My dog Angel is well spoiled from all the great toys, treats, and even the terrific healing nose cream we got from here. Highly recommended - you will not find a better store in Sydney.

Paw4friends have been phenomenal and absolute gems. They have looked after my 7 month old pup Ella and have welcomed her into the family. Ella attends one to two days per week and has established a good sense of socialisation and has been looked after so well. Ella already knows the names of the other dogs there and roams with excitement every time she has to go there. I've been taking our beloved Popcorn to the store on a regular basis for her wash and clipper. She's always come out looking and smelling great and completely happy! The team have in-depth knowledge of dogs and I have complete trust in the owner. The store itself is stocked with quality and well priced items that we purchase and use! Teddy come to Paw4friends since he got first time grooming and since then we love going there once a month. Teddy love the boys when he get grooming and Adriana alsways looking after mummy while she get new toys,foods,harnie and other cool stuff for me We give Paw4friends 5 star but in our hearts you worth million stars. A high quality pet store with lots of toys, pet food, clothes, treats and my family pet id tags. I went in early morning to get a pet tag engraved and wasn't a problem. Super easy, quick and high quality. Cost $14 for a small one. Really friendly staff as well. I got a cat toy as well with little fish on it, super cute!

Finally a daycare and shop that caters for big dogs! Our Frida (greyhound) is taken so well care of when she is left there for a half a day or a whole weekend. Adriana, Mauricio and the team are so passionate about what they do are and flexible enough to cater to your specific breed's needs. Love love love
