A Disappointing Dining Experience at Pedro's Maynard Mall. I recently ordered at Pedro's Maynard Mall, and I must say that my experience left much to be desired. From the moment I ordered , it was clear that the service was going to be an issue. The entire ordeal was an exercise in patience and frustration, as it took an astonishing two hours to receive my order. Such an extensive wait time for a meal is simply unacceptable. To make matters worse, when I reached out to the manager for an update, I was met with misinformation and excuses. The manager misled me by placing the blame solely on the delivery driver, making it seem like they were solely responsible for the delay. It's disappointing when a business chooses to shift the blame instead of taking responsibility for their own shortcomings. While I understand that delays can happen, especially during busy periods, it is the responsibility of the establishment to manage these situations effectively and communicate with their customers honestly. Regrettably, Pedro's Maynard Mall failed to do so. The lackluster service extended beyond the delay itself. The staff seemed overwhelmed and disorganized, resulting in a chaotic atmosphere. It was evident that they were struggling to keep up with the demands of a full house. Throughout my experience, I noticed a general lack of attentiveness and urgency from the waitstaff, which further contributed to the frustration of the already prolonged wait. Unfortunately, when the food finally arrived, it did little to redeem the overall experience. While the taste was satisfactory, the long wait had dampened my expectations, and I couldn't help but feel disappointed. It's a shame when subpar service overshadows the quality of the food itself. In today's fast-paced world, customers expect efficient and timely service, especially when dining out. Unfortunately, Pedro's Maynard Mall failed to meet these basic expectations. A two-hour wait for a meal is simply unacceptable, and the misleading information provided by the manager only exacerbated the issue. As a customer, I believe it's crucial to hold establishments accountable for their service standards. While I understand that every business can have off days, it is important for Pedro's Maynard Mall to recognize the impact of their actions on their customers' experiences. I sincerely hope they take this feedback constructively and make the necessary improvements to ensure that future patrons do not have to endure similar frustrations. In conclusion, based on my experience at Pedro's Maynard Mall, I cannot recommend this establishment to others. The combination of slow and pathetic service, coupled with the misleading information provided by the manager, created a highly disappointing dining experience. My only reason for choosing Pedros today was reading a news article comparing Pedros with that other chaeky Portugese chicken outlet, saying that Pedros beat Nandos. Pedros disappoints me a second time. The first time was a differnet store with a poor excuse. This time Pedros Maynard Mall held their disappointment banner high. I ordered a 1/4 chicken with a garlic roll and chips via a delivery service. the meal arrived timeously and hot as per Mr D's policy. Hats off to them. The food on the other hand was the skinniest piece of chicken I've ever had. My order was for well done with hot sauce marinade. What I got was a skinny, dry chicken leg and thigh that was othewise drenched in what was a mild sauce. The garlic roll looked like it was microwaved warm. The chips had a sprinkling of chip spice on it. My local fisheries does better "slap chips" than this. #Pedros you suck!

I have on many occasions ordered far in advance and to only have them work on my food when I get there. Once I was so irate due to the lack of service and communication where I wanted to speak to Brian. I have requested to speak to him and he simply ignored me. This is appalling to ignore a paying customer. I use this branch at least 3-4 times a week yet I still receive service that I would not wish on an enemy. The ladies are all great. My issue is that there is a lack of management communication and process. Extremely disappointed and will not recommend this to anyone. In fact I will tell people to not go there based on the experiences I have had on multiple occasions. Missing items. Wrong orders. Orders not being placed. People begging for money in the restaurant. All round horrible experience

Good day I trust that you are well. I am a regular customer who is a complete fan for the pedros experience. The food is outstanding. But these are the concerns I would like to share for the branch in wynberg to function better. The lines are completely long. We have to search for seats the venue is unable to facilitate the customers they draw. Waiters take long to get to a table to clean it after other customers have finished meals and left. Beggers walk in and out of pedros asking for money while we are eating and no staff stops them. This is in no means a review to bring down the establishment but a honest review for better functioning establishment. Love you guys Kind regards

Just bought a full chicken and large chips (R129), but I got home only to find that my large chips were not included. I’m really annoyed and disappointed with the service Upon opening the packet I see the chicken doesn’t even have the basting/sauce that it normally comes in, it was just dry. I had ordered half lemon n herb, and half mild. I am never buying at Pedros Maynard Mall again!

I waited almost 20 minutes for a garlic roll and millshake. Front Staff talks to each other while customers wait. Server swiped my order off the wait screen once i got my roll, that had been standing on the warmer for ages. Then i had to further wait for my milshake. Only getting it once i asked about it as my order wasnt on the wait board anymore. It was a small sale, but shouldn't take so long.

I am very happy to report that I've ordered via Mr D at this Branch numerous times and I was never NOT ONCE disappointed. Their paella rice is fantastic and their chicken is generous and properly seasoned. I have never been in the restaurant but through my delivery experience the food was always EXCELLENT Thank you Pedros Wynberg

I had 2 incidents where I ordered food, via the phone 1 app and 1call, and after 40min of collection my food was not ready and the ordered was not put through on the system.
