Although Jasper is her (16 year old!) cat, I dealt with Doctor, as she is currently living overseas, which brought with it, a fair share of anxienty from us both! Upon meeting Dr Clegg, his absolute calmness, quiet gentle nature and confidence in how best to deal with our "fur baby's" issues, was so welcome. We appreciate his advise, his follow up phone calls and the fact that he was approachable every step of the way. I had to take in a beloved cat for an emergency situation, and I was able to bring her in immediately and get medical attention shortly after I came in. The staff were very kind and caring, and Dr Melissa explained everything very clearly and carefully so that I could make a well-informed choice, as well as being compassionate. She also took time to inform me on estimated costs of treatment which assisted the decisions I've had to make today. Overall compassionate staff, prompt care, and consideration of peoples' financial situations.

Very friendly and helpful service at this veterinary clinic. I was needing advice on a product for my aunt's dog and the vet in passing stopped to help me with his advice which turned out well. I also witnessed how caring and helpful the staff were with animals being discharged to their owners in the reception area! Everyone was very kind and caring! My aunts have been dealing with this institution for years and have great confidence in their care of animals. Highly recommend them!

All my dogs and birds were patients and treated at Peninsula Vet from 1989 till 2018.. Milo ( maltese) ,Kelly apricot with varigated shades Frencb Poodle..then Holly ( white F Poodle ) and Fraser ( black French Poodle ) & Jonty mixed breed plus 2x cocatiels a budgie and canary thru the years I had extreme faith in the Vets especially Mark Baron.. Friendly Carol and Shirley were on reception giving excellent customer service.. I fully recommend this practice

I called the vet and within 20 minutes they accommodated seeing my 2 month old kitten with a possible broken leg as they were about to close I rushed over kitten in pain and as I walked in immediately felt at ease as the staff were so friendly and the doctor not knowing us at all was extremely professional and accommodating. I would highly recommend their services. Turns out after some xrays kitty had torn a ligament. I can't thank them enough for their help

Though it's never great going to a vet because it usually means you have a sick furbaby but the receptionists and vets were amazing. Mia didn't like anyone obviously because they touched her and used needles and her main complaint came from what they did with the thermometer All in all I had a great experience with people who are kind, caring and considerate. Furbaby Mia is healthy and giving her usual attitude lol

On arrival the receptionist was very helpful when we filled in the forms. We were seen on time by Dr Jaid Limbert. She was very approachable and extremely gentle and efficient with my rather large and anti-vet cat. She advised us on all future visits and as also very helpful with regards his diet. I was very nervous about the visit, but she handled it very smoothly and efficiently. We will be back. Mrs Anne Stewart

Very Happy with the Service i got on Friday 6th April 2018. Dr Basson was friendly , caring and very much knowledgeable about my dog and what my issues were. I am extremely glad that i made a decision to change my vet ( From another vet of 10 years ) to Peninsula Vet Diepriver. The welcome from the friendly receptionist also made me feel very welcome. Thank you very much .

We don't know how to thank Dr. Naidoo and the way she treated us and Basil. She gave him every last chance of recovery. She treated us in the kindest manner in our darkest time. We are really grateful for Dr. Naidoo and how accommodating she was. Shirley at reception was great to deal with. I hope we deal with Pen Vet again, only with different circumstances. Thank you.

They were friendly and very patient with me. I took my puppy for a dental procedure which required her to be put under anesthesia, I was worried as she suffers from a medical condition called megaoesophahus which puts her at extra risk. However, the vet took extra precautions and made certain exceptions for her. Im very grateful. Thanks guys! What a great team!

We dealt with all 3 doctors while going through a very difficult time with our cat, George. All the doctors and staff were so attentive, considerate and kind. It helped us so much in the decision making process. Having to put a beloved pet to rest is very difficult. Peninsula gave us what we needed to look back with no doubts or regrets. We're so grateful!

Very friendly & loving staff. Shelves are always well stocked and the vet is in very good shape (kept very clean). Animals are treated with respect and love and not seen as a money item. Always willing to assist those who might not be able to afford treatment for their beloved pet as well as assist with strays or runaways (like "fudge" in the pictures).

Great place, treats all patients furry or not, with respect and kindness there prices are good they have pensioner pricing. Are easy to access in main road with good parking out front. They will help all animals in all walks of life, even saying goodbye. Great doctors and support staff very professional and well managed would highly recommend.

Have been with Pen Vet for +25yrs. My dogs have been cared for and treated very well by staff and Vet Doctors. They are very professional and always ready to assist with any questions. Price for consultations etc reasonable this far. I always have peace of mind when having to take my dog there. I'd recommend PenVet anytime.

If there were more stars available I would of given those as well. What caring and friendly staff. At this veterinary practice the welfare of the animal is priority irrespective of who or what you are. We had a really good experience at South Peninsula Veterinary, regarding a wild white eye bird that was injured. It (sadly) died after 2 days of care. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a condolence card from the veterinary clinic, signed by all the staff members, which was a very thoughtful gesture.

The staff is friendly and their services are amazing. They treated my pet with love and care as if it were their own!. I would highly recommend peninsula veterinary hospital for those who worries about their animals safety etc... Bonus> the vet has a beautiful fragrance that somehow calmed my nerves.

I was desperate for help. Although they could not help, the lady who answered my call was kind and compassionate. She even called me back to check if I got the help I needed and offered some advice. If that's front desk assistance then I'm sure it's a good place to go with your pet.

Don't make an appointment. You wasting your time. We were only acknowledge 45min later than our appointment. Don't expect sevice... they don't know the meaning of the word. Don't waste your time. There has better options in a 5km radius. Don't support this establishment.

I have (2) timney parrots that were sick,the service!!! and the care was phenomenal,Dr clegg sort to them very nicely and I was very happy and my parrots are doing much better,thank u to Dr clegg and the rest of the staff at Penn.vet hospital.well done guys …

Not that I know too much about vet pricing but I was pleasantly surprised by the final price. Great care, my kitten is running around and seems to be in very little to no pain or discomfort after receiving his vaccinations and being neutered.

The staff at Penvet are simply the best - always have smiles on their faces. The vets are passionate and are absolutely brilliant. The entire practice genuinely cares about you and your fur children - can highly recommend this practice.

Friendly clean central with wide parking spaces. The care is professional and we couldn't ask for more. Maybe there could be some kind of mats or something for older dogs like ours who struggle on slippery surfaces. This would be nice.

The receptionist kept me waiting 7min. I put my dog into my car drove to the vet. They would not even come check my dog in the car. Grassy Park SPCA took him in immediately. Sadly Zookie passed away that night.
