Burnt fries and bad attitude was what I received today not Happy.. I went to the bathroom after ordering my food came out and waited for my food ...saw a order ready but wasn't sure if it was mines or someone else's so I waited....then saw 2 ppl get they food and they came in after I came back from bathroom. I went to this location tonight for the first time. I normally go to the one on 135 cause I've always had good service there, but unfortunately their power was out. Sonic drive the extra distance, place a $40 order with a rude cashier, then I watch to make sure the order is made right. I knew it wasn't. I knew the girl had forgotten the cookies, and I also seen her not even glance at the ticket to make my sandwich how I asked for it. So I reminded her about the cookies when she called my name, then asked if my sandwich was right. She said no and began to speak, but by then I was annoyed and just left. I am a server. The order was rang in correctly by the rude cashier, but she didn't even read the ticket. Incompetent and I'll never go back. P.s. I'm a server and rarely complain about service, but this was ridiculous.

I eat here all the time but just recently they have changed things inside. I went to get a soft drink as usual and was told from behind the register that they have to get the drink. I wasn’t told that at the register when I ordered. So a kitchen guy comes from behind the back, unwashed hands from dealing with kitchen ingredients, no gloves. Pours my drink and puts a lid on it with hands it to me with a straw. You want to tell me how that’s any better than me personally pouring my own drink? Why wouldn’t they give you the cup, straw, and lid at the counter so the only thing you touch is the cup. Everyone wants to implement these safe practices, but sometimes they aren’t thought out, and this is one of those times. I’ll be going to the one on 135 now, last time I went (last week) I was able to pour my own drink.

I placed an order through the google online website and when I arrived to pick up my order, I was told that they had no records of my order although the money had been taken out of my account immediately. I spoke with a young man who explained that they had been having issues with the online ordering and since he showed no record of my order coming through on their end, he couldn’t fulfill my order and the money would be returned to my card in 5 business days. Well I did not feel that was acceptable and insisted that we come to another conclusion. The young man made a phone call and then gave me my order. I really appreciate that young man fulfilling my order. On the other hand, google/Penn Station needs to get it together.

My opinion is Penn Station is delicious, well at least the Philly steak and cheese that I always get I've never tried anything else I think I'm too much of a wuss but if you ever get the Philly steak and cheese get it without pizza sauce and it's so much better. Extra mushrooms, cheese, mayonnaise, bell peppers, and I think that's about it when I order. The customer service was great and I did not have to wait long for my food to be finished, the fries are awesome fresh cut and I believe they took it in peanut oil. I highly recommend the Philly steak and cheese or any other sub they have here very fresh and delicious. Their food is a little pricey especially if you get into the bigger sandwiches and the fries are pricey I believe it's $3 for one size larger than what you normally get with your food

Asked for NO peppers on sandwich, when I realized manager was making with peppers, I told him I couldn't eat them, he just picked them out of the other vegetables, leaving the juice and taste of peppers in my food, instead of remaking!!!! I am allergic and explained this. He did refund my sandwich$5.65. Again, no apology or offer to remake. after leaving I realized he didn't refund my entire $13.37 bill. I went back in and he refunded my friends sandwich $5.65 and said "I didn't know you were going to walk out" as IF she would sit and eat and me NOT. He STILL did NOT refund my drink that I did NOT receive. HE WAS CLUELESS AS TO WHAT WAS THE ISSUE EVEN WHEN I LEFT. I had not been in this place before and will NOT go back. This would have been so easy to fix but there was NEVER an offer to rectify.

I came in at 9:30, and they close at 10, because my daughter had just gotten off work and was hungry. The three young people working named Zack, Jenna, and Romeo (sorry if I spelled it wrong, phonetically Rome MAY oh), were amazing. Not only did they do a phenomenal job, they were very friendly and courteous the whole time I was inside. The sandwiches didn't take long to make, but Romeo still apologized for the wait. I almost expected surliness and a mediocre effort due to it being so close to closing time. I was very pleasantly surprised by the job they did, and their demeanors. I will definitely be coming back to this location, thanks to these 3 young people. They should definitely be held as the standard for the rest of your employees.

Went for lunch , Person taking order was told clearly a veggie sandwich and then was told to add avocado. They put mushrooms which dosent say on DAGWOOD selection on menu Plus they didn't put avocado , Nor mayo as requested , It was waste of $20 as fries were served cold also although their frier was on frying fresh fries but who were they serving those we don't know , I would complain if one thing wasn't appropriate to get it fixed right but to complain for so many mistakes clearly shows that cook wasn't in the right state of mind and most likely would mess up again. Surprisingly Southport location had also done same thing on fries served cold but gladly refunded the miney for fries when told them about it .

The staff made us feel very welcome when we walked in.. We ordered a set of their golden delicious fries..I was amazed at how fresh or sandwiches were..They allowed some substitutions for me..I love the Teriyaki chicken but for me...no mushrooms..and my husband had a philli...Everything was hot when it was presented to us..We were several times if we enjoyed our food..And we did..If you have not tried Penn Station you should...The food is delicious and very reasonable and the place was CLEAN..Thank you Penn Station for that..See you in line!!

Normally I am well pleased with service and food at Penn Station. Not today. Ordered via food delivery vendor so I cannot speak to the service. However, I ordered two medium ham and Swiss with fresh cut fry and lemonade. No need to mention the prices, we all know things are expensive right now. When I opened my sandwich there was ONE slice of ham! The bread was barely done when it was baked, and the sandwich was obviously not heated at all...neither the meat on the grill nor the sandwich through the oven. I took a pic to show my family but don’t see anywhere to upload it here. Come on people!!!! Let’s give a care about our reputation and grow a work ethic from somewhere! No wonder the world is such an angry place!

Great place right off of US-31 in Southport. The subs are made fresh with great ingredients, the fries are peeled fresh, the lemonade is fresh, I can go on and on. Philly Cheese Steak was fantastic, Chicken Teriyaki sub was fantastic as well. The Chicken Parm was just as good. Find it hard to believe anyone could go wrong coming here. Hope you do!

I placed my order, while waiting, I see the bread cutter take bread and cut it while wearing gloves, and then took the bread trimmings while pulling down his mask over the food, placed food into his mouth, then proceeded to cut bread.... WITH THE SAME GLOVES!!!! IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS!!! I was legit raging at this point. I mean what the heck!? I immediately went up to the manager. Told him the situation. No apology, just a cookie for the inconvenience. I would normally rate zero, but I rated 3 stars because of the food being good, and the politeness of the employees.

I ordered a philly with fry and lemonade. $20 theeae days just gets disappointment. Three components and every one was wrong. The lemonade was too tart. The fries were cooked to different degrees of doneness. Some were hot and some were crispy but cold. Like they were cooked and left to sit. Then thrown in with fresh ones. The sandwich was missing ingredients. I said no mushrooms. I guess they thought I meant nothing because there were no onions or peppers either. I got mayonaise and brown mustard and it was all in one glob instead of spread evenly.

EDIT: NEW Management of location Mike Machala reached out and made the issue right. Ordered a lunch pickup at 11:50 waiting on the restaurant with people getting their orders in front of me the whole time. I kept asking the cashier for my order to no avail. Eventually requested a refund and took approx 5 minutes for the manager to even come to the register for the refund. Wasn’t offered an apologize or even for them to get my food made quick. Just a refund and a “bye” needless to say will not be returning to this location.

There was literally 2 people working the other day when I went.. These 2 employees were awesome though. We had a line and yes I had to wait but I had no problem doing so.. Even though they were short staffed they did everything they could to get us out of there as fast as they could. Wish I knew their names. They were excellent workers.

I just left that place and let me tell you, the service was the best customer service I have had in along time and the food was mouth watering the fries perfect the food made to perfection, I am throughly impressed . Great job all of them I mean everyone greeted us coming in and leaving .. seemed happy to be there !! On my first visit ever to Penn Station this summer with a friend the service was excellent. The cheesesteak was delicious, and prepared as ordered. Today, I came back, and was greeted immediately and the door was held open for me by one of the employees excellent. However, I again ordered a large cheesesteak with everything and a small fries. I start eating my fries in the car, they aren't even hit. I get home I live around the corner, open my cheesesteak it's just meat and chees. I was disappointed..

There was the 4 of us. It took forever to get her sandwiches and they never came out together they're all spaced out. Which is difficult since we were out before the movie and we're going to share fries. It took 45 minutes to get all of her food not including time to eat it. I was worried that we'd be late for Thor the movie. I paid an arm leg for the movie tickets did not wish to miss anything due to slow sandwich skills.

I ordered a regular chicken teriyaki. My sandwich hardly had any meat or mushrooms very little teriyaki sauce. Asked the manager if this was the right amount of meat and in a condescending manner she replied I don't know I didn't make it. She did offer to remake it or just grill me more chicken. I told her to just grill more chicken and then she brought it out to me it too had little to no teriyaki flavor to it. Will definitely not be back to this location especially after paying 15.86 for my meal

If you've been to Penn station before this place is the same as the others this place has more windows and isn't as dark as other places and even has a back patio to eat on so that sets them apart if you haven't been to a Penn station it's a wide verity of hot sandwiches at a medium kind of price chances are there's something on the menu that suits your tastes better than basic but without that fast food vibe

First off, the worst Penn Station location I've ever been too. Waited 35 minutes for 2 sandwiches!! 3 people got their food before me, & they ordered after! No one recognized me telling me my food would be done shortly, or any update whatsoever.. employees not paying attention leaving frys just laying in the basket above the fryer... I know it's a lot of info but take in mind 35 minutes for 1 large sub and 1 small sub..... WOW. I will never be back to this location.

Kid behind counter was not wearing gloves....Kid behind counter had a constant cough. Didn't cover mouth, turn head, nothing. Kid behind counter let my to go order sit while he answered the phone and took a lengthy order which took several minutes. Left store and threw my food in the nearest dumpster and went somewhere else for lunch. I should have paid attention to the the other reviews and passed on this place. One star is one too many for this Penn Station.

Dine-in is now available, but Penn Station is still exercising an abundance of caution. Looks like the dining room can host about 24 people (on my visit) and an employee will make your drinks for you. If you are staying to eat, don't forget to ask for napkins / forks / condiments. Everyone here is very polite, courteous, and helpful! Masks are a must at this time. Still the best subs around. Please keep up the great work, and thanks for looking out for us all.

Teriyaki chicken is underwhelming. Not much taste. It used to be their best sandwich. Seems as though they are measuring everything which is fine if they give you enough. They don't. The meat doesn't extend to the ends of the bun. Too bad that profit per sandwich is more important than the quality of the sandwich. Their fries are still very good. Every once in a while, I'll go there for a change of pace and then I realize why it isn't a regular stop anymore.

First time there. Ordered a Ruben. Wow...it was not like the picture and very....very small. I hate to compare, but the Ruben from Arby's is much much better. This sandwich was almost tasteless. Not filling at all. The fries weren't bad. Home-style fries that were good. For the price of a little over $8 for a small tasteless sandwich and good, not great, fries...it just didn't seem worth the price. I was still hungry after and got Jack in The Box.

After a phone in order had to wait for over 20 minutes to pay and get food as the person collecting payments left the food packed and needed a couple verbal reminders. Food was ready and visible before I got there. If you’re in a hurry skip this location. Coming from someone who loves penn station the service and speed to get your food because of person taking the payment is just deplorable.

I really love the subs from Penn Station, like the pizza sub, steak and cheese, and the Italian. Now, this specific location is located in a rough parking lot. It's littered in pot holes and has some of the worst diverging I've seen. Other than that, I have no complaints, except they removed the option to add sausage to the pizza sub. That alone costs them one star.

Love Penn Station. Went in today and everyone was kind and pleasant. 1st time trying the Soba drink with the machine so that was a 1st in the fast food place. Food was on point. Couldn't of asked for a better moment. Definitely will be going back. Almost want to say it's my favorite fast food restaurant to stop by before and after work. Keep up the good work guys!

One of the better chains on US 31. I have routinely had negative experiences at the chain restaurants on US 31, however, today at Penn Station was very different! It was clean, good quality food, and friendly service! THANK YOU to these employees! A nice surprise in that area of town! The 3 employees working today at 6pm were very polite!

After a devil of a night trying to eat late. I pulled into penn station at 9:50. Having worked fast food and specifically for penn station in the past I can say they were AWESOME!!! I was greeted warmly when entering and they talked me into the fries. This was an awesome experience and this is why PENN STATION is the best subs hands down!

Great and friendly staff. Generally quick service, I've been told that they're working on that. Other reviews saying that the place is filthy, you've probably not worked in at a good place before, because some restaurants have off days. (It'll help the employees be friendly if you're friendly too!)

Service was on time and friendly. The steak sandwich and the artichoke sandwich were very good. The problem was the "Dagwood". I ordered it with lettuce, tomato, peppers, and Swiss cheese. It had none of those. Just meat, and not much of it. From the outside it looked like a small loaf of bread.

Excellent service. The cheesesteak sub I ordered didn't taste good at all. I ordered with mayo. Grease, or something was dripping from it when I picked it up. The fries and cookie were good.

Employees were not wearing gloves touching ready to eat food and the kid cutting the bread scratched his nose and then touched the bread again. Needless to say I turned around and walked out. Too bad I was excited for them to open. I think retraining may be needed!

I had the Reuben and my partner had the Italian. In retrospect, I probably should have gotten the small instead of the regular. Both sandwiches were good and a fair value for the money.
