I was dealing with some IVO matters and a potential unintentional breach, which was quite distressing. I got in contact with the Senior Solicitor Cheenam Mak and he walked me through the options that I had. He was full of compassion and understanding with my circumstances and also quite helpful, he was quick to action as I had court date in a week's time. Unfortunately, Mak could not attend the court day but another solicitor Thomas Lee had attended on his behalf. Thomas was really professional, the whole situation with the IVO was quite upsetting but Thomas had a really calm demeanour and was more than happy to talk me through the whole process, I appreciate this a lot. Overall, my experience with Pentana Stanton had been great, Mak and Thomas was able to negotiate a limited order on my behalf and also got the police to withdraw the IVO breach. To the public. Im writing a honest and informed review based on further legal advice. My important family law matter was overseen from the beginning by a lawyer who had only had 4 weeks experience. That matter had no legal oversight and went unchecked until the matter was closed. Throughout the consultation process very little thought or attention was given to my work. My outcome was final orders that were incorrect, not age appropriate to my child and as a result have to pay another lawyer to fix it.

Dealt with Jordyn who was unknowledgeable and put statements in the affidavit that were used against me at final trial. She took too long to organise a barrister for me then last minute the barrister they did choose counselled and organised a barrister that knew next to nothing about our case and couldnt represent me adequately. Perhaps i got unlucky with the family lawyer i was put with but my experience is that they could have ran things far better.

Worst and most expensive Family Law firm in Victoria. I had a very simple mater reception rude and unhelpful then Lawyer quotes $3,500 a hour . Steer clear of this lot. Updated matter is now sorted basic maths your company did a cost agreement for $35,000 had matter finalise with a quailfied Lawyer for $3,250 total cost. equating to $3,500 an hour from your firm.

I sent the documents for legal aid, they called me saying my application was refused but when I asked to send me by email the reason why I was refused, the lawyer hang up the phone telling me I am not her client.
