came all the way from england to come back to this pet shop to get a certain toy that one of my dogs love . got to the shop went in found what i needed there was only 2 left so got a few other bits and bobs went to the cash register and explained the story ie dogs loves these toys canf find on internet did thay have any more . the girls were outstanding cherie and janelle got on the phone rang the other pet barns around the sydney are located i think anouther ten in total which i will be going to collect from double bay on sunday beofre flying back to england . the girls went above and beyond so thanyou so much will be back in august for more treats for my furkids and will continue to come back to pet barn everytime im over here great shop great staff

I just went there, the state that their fighting fish were in was appalling. I’ve taken photos but it won’t let me share them here. The poor fish were all dying, it was so clear they were not looked after and neglected. There were a few dying, one dead and one dead in the rubbish bin. Their lights was off and I’m not sure what the water quality was but did not look good snd they looked uncared for. Do not buy from these guys unless they lift up their game. I feel so sad for the fish :(

My gf ordered some stuff from petbarn (to double bay) online and paid using PayPal. The SAME day, her PayPal and email account were hacked. No other orders had been made before for a while so it had to be done by whoever processed the order from petbarn. If this were a credit/debit card a lot of damage could be done. Has this happened to anyone else recently? The people at pet barn were friendly, although we noticed a lot of dead fish and plants in their aquarium section.

I liked the place overall.... .BUT, not very knowledgeable....I asked them about flea treatment, that wouldn't burn my cat....they said they hav never heard that ever happening. ....Well, guess what!!.....my Bengal has a nice burn mark where I put the treatment and the has still not grown back a month later...just a burn mark....aa if I put out a cigarette on her little back!.....They know nothing....yet claimed to be knowledgeable.

This store NEVER answers their phone. It’s so frustrating. I placed a same day delivery 2 days ago, and I still havn’t received it. It’s also hard to get parking near by, and when your pregnant and buying 15 kilos of dog food, it’s quite difficult to get it to the car. It was only on my last visit I was told that had larger trolleys out the back that can be used to take items to your car.

This place is a shocker - despite having clear proof of purchase of faulty clippers they refused to refund the purchase or replace them with anohter item - instead they told me I had to seek replacement on the warranty from the manufacturer - that even though they had sold me the faulty product it was not there problem - do not give them your business - I certainly will not in the future

Went in there today, ZERO social distancing procedures and practices in place. Customers bunches up together near the pay area and staff failed to enforce or police social distancing. Felt extremely uncomfortable and couldn’t wait to get out of there! Will not be back! Not sure if they should have a Covid plan but they definitely don’t have one in place!

We are about to adopt a puppy and came here to pick up some starting supplies. Rosie helped us through every step of the way and was incredibly friendly. She spent ages with us, answered all of our questions, gave us plenty of useful advice and never tried to sell us anything we didn't need. One of the best shopping experiences I can think of.

Did you know Petbarn price match? I was just there to get treats for the dog and thought maybe get flea tablets as well but it was more than the normal shop that I purchase it from. So I showed the Petbarn staff and they offered price match.....saved me going to my shop specially to get the flea tablets.

Acceptable for standard issue stuff when you need it, but deceptively over priced for Hills medicated kibble that was crucial and pivotal for my dog to heal. Thankfully I ended up getting for a fifth of the price from my vet. It makes you wonder about all their other products.

Adopted my cat from here. The staff here are really friendly and helpful. Whenever I order heavy items, someone will always offer to help me carry them to the car so I don't have to make multiple trips to and from the store.

Could not return a product that i was not happy with and had two workers " talking " at me why i didnt keep the packaging etc,,prior i called and was told i can return with no problem. The value is $30. Petbarn in crisis.

Wow, products cost $10 more in store than they do online, despite the fact the website says you can pickup in store. I'm simply going to buy my products online from eBay from now. Dumb dumb dumb.

Great variety of options for my bulldog she addicted to the kangaroo tails and keeps her occupied for hours. Very pleasant young staff always helpful and friendly. Call in at least once a week.

An enormous range of Pet products. They have this really nice cat home which I've never seen and immediately fell in love with it and got it for my lovely Tinker.

Bought premium biscuits online for fussy poodles. They were delivered the same evening. Poodle 1 loves them. Poodle 2 turned up his nose. Whatevs.

Lovely staff, Chubby drags me into the store all the time cos he knows he'll get treats. Great range in store and always tidy and smelling good.

Not very smart crew at double bay, they vant me to pay &146 for diet sciences 13 lt when they advertise for $ 118, and asked me to prouve it..

There were no large costs for our dogs even though I had rung the store and asked them this question and been reassured they did have them

Today i just went there,i really frustrated, i really don’t like the big girl crew.. Not friendly, not helpfull crew and bad service..

Impossible to buy from this store when they don’t have any bags, for free or for sale, to carry the goods from the store. Absurd.

This was an on-line order and did not involve any human contact. Therefore two questions regarding Petbarn staff were irrelevant

Compare the prices - regularly things cost more here than they do online or in other Petbarn stores.
