While I enjoy the convenience of having a pet shop nearby, I'd only recommend Petbarn for those who are in desperate need of supplies or whatever. The store has a decent layout and amount of products, but during my visits it also stunk. Is that indistinguishable smell from a pet shop: something that you can't really describe but recognize immediately upon first whiff. The prices are quite crazy and most of the products (possibly all) can be found online for a fraction of the cost. This is nothing new however and as businesses struggle more and more with supply chain issues, inflation and what not, things can only continue to deteriorate for retail.

Petbarn Gladesville has an ample selection of products for all kinds of pets. I am in the process of adopting 2 rabbits and I can find pretty much everything I need here. Today I was helped by the amazing John, I needed a specific cat litter and quite quickly as well. I was concerned about carrying the big bag home but John offered to carry it down for me and we had a lovely conversation on the way back home. Thank you so much and I’m so grateful, I didn’t know service like this still existed and I hope you will be recognised for all your hard work

Absolute rip off all the products can be bought online for a tenth of the price. For instance a 20l fish tank there cost you 60 bucks you can buy the same thing at Kmart for $20 besides the customer service there is in my opinion not the best and I find pet barn my absolute last resort for any thing I need in terms of pet supplies. Look all I’m trying to say is shop around especially at the moment because it can really save you time and money

Excellent store. The staff are amazing and very friendly. Large variety of high quality items and top tier brands. If you prefer to feed your pets cheap stuff then, Coles is down the road! But if you care about what goes in your furry friend, PAY THE PRICE! They have a great price match policy if you find it cheaper elsewhere. Sell a nice selection of live fish, which is a bonus.

I bought a smart water fountain from this store, upon purchase, I was assured by the staff that they would have replacement filters for it in stock. I returned to the store today and was informed that they don't sell those filters!!!! I'm so glad that I shopped there, really appreciate getting screwed over thanks again

The staff are so kind and helpful. My click and collect was prepared very fast, and when I went to collect it, I didn't have to wait at all. They also went out of their way to help me carry my heavy order to my car, without me having to ask. Very professional, lovely workers and would highly recommend to others.

Staff there were very helpful. Even though the specific products weren't available at the store in general, the staff suggested alternatives that helped us a great deal. The staff member also gave us a hand bringing some of the products out to the car. Highly recommended.

I had my 13 wk puppy with me trying to juggle the collection of pet items for purchase whilst keeping the pup safe. The staff quickly came to help, grabbing items off shelves, holding the dog whilst I paid. Fitted my pup on the spot with a new car safety harness.

Great range of stock, even tho' the shop is quite small comparatively. Staff are extremely knowledgeable & helpful, even to carrying 20kgs bags of bird seed to the car in the streer or behind the shop.

There are many kinds of pets, supplies, food... There are many kinds of goods, the service attitude is very good, the transportation is very convenient, and the price is reasonable.

Peter was extremely helpful in giving me advice on how to set up my cold water 10 gallon tank and include the best plants and the maximum number of coldwater fish I could have.

Very handy central location for pet food and toys... the only minor issue is there's no parking area where you can almost drive thru ... gotta park at the back and walk...
