We really appreciate the scope of work you were able to provide. We needed to have our deck and railings and trellis cleaned and re-stained and you were able to do that for us as well as repaint the house. We appreciate the fact that you called out rot where you found it and that we could use your carpentry services to have it repaired. Again, the scope of services you provide is helpful, but also just the commitment to doing a really thorough, careful job. Your carpentry group went the extra mile by finding a way to get our rotted newel-posts reproduced so that we could maintain the vintage look of our old home. We ended up feeling that the house had been very well taken care of and is well-protected against the elements. We appreciate the care your people took to avoid damaging my garden. We’ve had a lot of work done over the last year; most people don’t treat plants with respect; you did. That merits an extra star from me. All of your people were great to work with: Jarrod, Jason and the carpentry team, and especially Arturo and his team, who did most of the work. Arturo is an excellent team lead and handled our house as though it were his own. He was always gracious and responsive in dealing with my questions. Five stars to everybody! The color consultation was an added bonus. I ended up making a few changes based on the conversation I had with Rebecca ( Seriously Happy Homes), who was excellent, and I am very happy that I did. Really love the new color. The house looks beautiful! We are SO pleased with how it turned out. We spend a lot of time at home and it is deeply satisfying to have it looking so pretty. At the recommendation of our interior designer/stylist we hired Phinney Ridge Painting to paint the interior of our house. I couldn't be happier with the experience we had with them. When we had them out to quote, Ned came over and spent as much time as we needed to walk through the entire house, talk about what we wanted to do, and even helped make some recommendations to us. From the very beginning, he inspired a lot of confidence in the company. We ultimately decided to have them do our trim, walls, and ceiling. Phinney Ridge painting did a wonderful job on painting the exterior of our house. We had taken quotes from many painting companies over the course of two years and Phinney Ridge outshone all others by miles right from the start. Nik came to our home for the inspection and was so incredibly knowledgeable and patient in answering questions. Our house was built in 1905, needed lead paint removed, and a lot of prep work. When the project began it was Charley who was there from start to finish, prepping and painting. He made suggestions based on his expertise that improved the finished look of the house. His attention to detail was greatly appreciated. Charley is a great communicator and always listened to our questions and some concerns from our neighbors too, finding solutions that worked for everyone. Ryan was our project manager and made sure everyone was on the same page, his communication skills are outstanding. We always felt like he was there for us. The whole team made sure repeatedly to talk with us during every phase of the project, were incredibly patient and kind, and we cannot recommend them enough to anyone looking to have their house painted. In 2021, I made a decision to have the exterior of my house painted. Nik Palladino came out to look at my house and give me an estimate. He was warm, friendly, and knowledgeable and he quickly had my trust. The work itself was done in the summer of 2022. The two workers who were assigned to my project were Roberto and Maurizio. They did a remarkable job preparing the house to be painted. All of my neighbors were impressed at how thorough they were. By the time they got the house finished, it truly looked great. Even after I had paid them in full, they came back to do some minor touch-ups and I was completely happy with the job. My house has never looked better! Nik Palladino and the company itself were always responsive and very pleasant throughout the project. I would unreservedly recommend this company for any project you need at your house.

Phinney Ridge came out and painted the outside of our home during the summer of 2020 and we were so pleased we had them come back this spring to paint a large shed that we had built late last year. Our painter was Sam Licio and he did a wonderful job despite the fact that we had a slightly offbeat paint scheme. He was professional, friendly and courteous. His workmanship was amongst the best we have experienced. He was thorough and paid great attention to detail. Phinney Ridge was able to fit us in much sooner than we expected so that was a nice bonus. While waiting for the shed to be painted they came and painted our kitchen, bathroom, and den. Phinney Ridge painted the exterior of our 1930 Tudor and we would highly recommend them. Stanley led the team of painters and ensured that we had a great experience - everyone was friendly and professional. Stanley really listened to our needs and worked to accommodate our requests and also offered advice. We ended up changing a decision on a color for a door after the first coat was painted already (totally on us) and the team couldn't have been nicer about it. Our house, in classic Seattle old house style, is on top of some steep steps, in very rough baseline shape, and not the easiest to paint in the heat of summer, but they did a great job. We've had nearby general contractors for neighbors come by and compliment the work, saying that it was done right.

Our house is pretty challenging to paint, given that most of it is supported by stilts over a high ravine. Several companies wouldn’t take the job. Others wanted to build scaffolding for an extra $10K-20K. Not only did Phinney Ridge come in with the most reasonable quote, but they were also the most likable and communicative through the process. Jarrod was our PM, and Mike was our head painter. They started our job even earlier than promised and were on time every single day. Mike was an incredible perfectionist with great taste, which meant I could rely on him to make decisions. I couldn’t be happier with the service they provided and the final result. Our home looks gorgeous. And our whole neighborhood thanked us for upping their property values lol.

Phinney Ridge did a great job on our home. They offered a color consultant with their service (which was a huge benefit to us and avoided a potential mistake on color). We were able to select colors that modernized the exterior of our home. After the initial walk-through, we noted some areas that needed to be touched up and they agreed and performed the touch-ups without any issue. The interior paint work was also very good. They are a solid paint company that I will continue to use. For feedback, I recommend that Phinney update clients on adjusted timelines in a more timely fashion. However, it was not easy to get these jobs done this summer/spring during a pandemic and with the fires. I recommend this company.

I cannot say enough good things about Phinney Ridge Painting. They recently completed a siding replacement project, followed by an exterior painting touch up/repair project. The actual work they did was fantastic, but what really stood out to me was their customer service, communication and attention to detail. We used Phinney Ridge Painting for a bunch of carpentry projects around our house from door shaving (9 doors in total) to rebuilding our small back deck to a railing on our front porch. The project ended up being way larger than expected (we found out the back deck was almost entirely rotted out) and the crew was able to adjust as necessary and get all of the work done. The crew was great (especially Thomas and David) and I highly recommend using them if you've got a big or small carpentry project on your hands.

The Phinney Ridge Painting team that worked on the exterior of our Seattle home did a very thorough job of prep-work, painting (spray, roll and brush), common sense repair when needed and touch up at the end.
