"My 5 star goes to 2 people that makes my shopping experience simply awesome : Lawrence - butchery manager that goes over and above customer service, from the time he has been running the butchery there has been a huge improvement in quality "
"Chain /franchise stores are either well managed or not"
Very clean, had everything we needed. The cashier was even so quick to notice one of our lemons in a big bag was rotten and changed it immediately herself which at till. Very good friendly service. The set up is a nice fresh look and it's got wide isles. Was bot over busy and it was as always a pleasant shop for my and my little ones.
Copyright ©️ blackjohannes. Pictures as is and not edited or altered. 1st Review March 2021. PnP is situated in a lovely Dainfern shopping centre. There is enough parking and it is "in a boomed secure" area and the bonus is: parking is not free. The PnP offered what you expect from a good PnP store. A more detailed review to follow.
This is the best PnP. I had mistakenly lost my wallet in store. Came back after 30 minutes and a very kind David Customer care manager kept it safe for me. There are still good people out there in the world. David, I speak God's promotion and Supernatural blessings upon you and your family all the days of your life on this planet.

Chain /franchise stores are either well managed or not. This determines the variety of goods on sale as well as customer service. Happily PnP Dainfern exemplifies the Pick N Pay experience for me. Convenience, a wide range of products and
Stocks are becoming more varied, which is great, but why is there hardly anyone to weigh your fresh produce? I have been coming to this store for 8 years and battle with this regularly. Hygiene at the bakery also needs to go up a knotch.
When cashier notices that you are buying lot of items or maybe you are not too focused on the till , they add items that you won't even get them in your plastic bag, they do this intentionally, I saw aCeres juice costing R54 on my till
They seem to renovating so the store was messy and difficult to navigate. No-one was available to weigh and price veggies. Had to find someone to assist and ended up being helped by a cleaning lady. Manager was ambivalent
Has everything I need. Convenient location. Shop layout is predictable. Shop is clean and I like the veggie specials pick n pay runs. I don't think that the management are doing enough to distinguish this shop from others
Parking is a nightmare during peak times. The queues at the till points in any Pick n Pay are always long. It's either to few till points open, or the employees at the till are jsut too slow. I don't understand it.
Staff are not friendly or helpful. It seems like they are doing you a favor when they help. More interested in chatting to other staff than helping customers. Rolls are not fresh at all from the bakery.
Great place_ very low cellphone/wallet Grab & dash because of the access control paid boomgates. Security always at the main entrance. Good people clean and happy place to shop your every day stuff.
Awful. No organisation. Doing a revamp and the staff have no details when it will be ready. The staff need training in order to bring service standards up or they will loose customers for ever
Bakery and fresh food section needs better hygeine practice. I saw many flies in and out of the display glass left wide open... decided to get my rolls elsewhere. Other sealed items are ok
Not a store Raymond would be proud of. No call to excellence. Deli counter is atrocious. Its so sad . Such a great brand , with such a poor store. Some great staff. Some shocking staff.
It's a very well built, neat and tidy Centre. It's in one of the most elite areas and serves upmarket shoppers and clients. However the escalators to the underground parking were off.
I am not impressed with this shop. I come here out of the convenience as there's hardly anything else this close to me. But often I will rather make the effort to venture out further.
A middle of the run Pick n Pay. Somehow the ailes felt both claustrophobic and too wide at the same time (yes I know how weird that sounds but I can't explain it any differently).
I have pointed out tomatoes that have gone off a few times. Also, blueberries that have gone off. This week I came home with chicken that smelt really bad when I opened the
Pastries are lovely and fresh, and the array available in their clothing section is great especially for the kids. Staff could be friendlier but all round decent service
It's the weekend. You have 3 out of 8 tills open. On payday weekend . Every weekend. Tortureous experice. Never again. Officially the worst P&P on the planet
Well done PnP, your newly revonated store looks great, clean, modern, fresh produce, huge improvement. Better than checkers now even. Keep it up.
The store is average in terms of layout and modernity. Stock levels are not consistent, it’s very often that items are ‘out of stock’.
Still as pathetic as ever even after their revamp. Bought frozen chicken pieces on Christmas day which turned out to be rotten!
NEVER enough tills open. Especially during peak hours. Cashiers seem very slow too because it takes forever to get moving.
They recently revamped the store. It looks amazing. Their service has always been excellent so I'm still happy about that
Wonderful place to visit. Excellent reception. The ambience is beckoning and calming. I definitely will visit again soon.
Probably the worst PnP branch in Johannesburg. Regularly out of stock of food stuff, vegetables like bell peppers.
Nice store with abit of everything, only down side is they always busy and they never have enough tellers to assist
Love the plants there affordable prices too... I really miss buying a withering Orchid for R30 …
Store has got a face lift you got to see it top class now go visit. Grate Staff for Xmas treat and gifts
New renovation up standard more variety on veggies ....well done for the new look …
Pick and pay in general has dropped substantially in quality and customer friendliness.
Staff unfriendly & largely unhelpful. I have taken my shopping to the opposition …
Currently revamping so it's a bit of a maze finding things but great store still.
Love the new revamp and the range of items available are stunning.
La parada dainfen what a place to chill ...see you soon oscar
They close at 8 which makes it convenient for late shoppers
Their pet products wsp cat food Pamper was non existant!!
Improve on customer service and orderliness of the shop
Neat and clean, always helped by a friendly face :-)
I love the new look and floor layout …
Clean, well organised and thr lines are quick
Not so many cashiers for a big shop like that
The experience was fantastic, friendly staff.
