Owner is extremely rude and would threaten physical violence on his customers. He was berating one of his employees in front of me and making racially insensitive comments. When I stepped in to say not to be rude, he told me to shut up and mind my own business as he’s talking to one of his own employees. During my verbal argument with him he got aggressive and asked if I wanted to fight him. All this in front of a line of customers. I would never go back and I will complain all the way upto headoffice for the way he treats people including his customers.

At 1 am, Oct 7, 2020, the attendant refused me the use of the washroom by claiming it was out of order. I challenged him as to why so many gas stations have their washrooms out of order since the pandemic, he shrugged his shoulders saying he does not know why but he was told this washroom was out of order. I told him I did not believe it and he was using that story just so that he does not need to trouble himself to keep it clean. He shrugged his shoulders again and I being who I am, avoided any further confrontation.

This pioneer is my go to neighbourhood gas station and my go to for everything convenience. The owners here are absolutely the most kind people. They always greet me when I come in, we laugh and have some great short conversations. Their other staff and their night time staff also so nice and deal with A LOT of B.S that comes their way but they all stay so professional and do a great job. I can honestly say i look forward to when i need gas because i get to see my friends at pioneer !! Best location in hamilton !

The curly hair woman was very freindly I filled my tank at a very good price and since I was coming back from Quebec and it was very cold and I didn’t have any money left she offered me a coffee on her own expense and she set me up with a loyalty card journie I think it’s called. This is definitely the best customer service I’ve seen in gas station today especially the most gas stations employees are untrained and unprofessional.

Poor experience... I tried using fuel card in mail. When the discount was not taken off purchase, I went to the store to inquire about the issue. The clerk called the manager. No apology given, no attempt was made to fix the issue. No action was taken to identify why the card did not work in the first place. I was told there was nothing that can be done about the transaction. Going back to Costco!

I went Pioneer gas station few days ago the staff inside the gas station is super nice. I am giving this gas station 5 stars because they have nice clean store and also clean washroom.The store is organized and has loads of snacks and icy beverages.Always they have good deal if you buy double snacks and drinks.

An older woman with curly hair threw down the bathroom key when I told her I wasn’t purchasing any gas. I said thank you left the key on the counter on my way out. The employee was counting items so I didn’t say anything, doesn’t she turn around and yell “your welcome”. I was blown away. So incredibly rude.

These guys are thieves. Just pumped $12.30 worth of gas and they charged me $14.30, and even changed the price on the reader when I went back to look. I was looking for a loonie back in my change to get a carwash across the street so 12.30 was in my head. Never coming here again. Crooked business.

Please Train your employees on customer service. Washroom is always out of order but if they are in a good mode then they will handover the key. Double standards. Even they have cheap prices but I’m avoiding them since the dont care about customer service.

Thieves. Routinely charge HST on gift cards which is prohibited. $50 gift card I purchased was never activated/loaded. Had to jump through hoops to get a refund.....over two weeks later. Treated me like I was the nuisance. AVOID THIS PLACE!
