We initially engaged Mike and his company to replace our gutters and eaves in our double storey house, after contacting many other roofers. Mike was the only licensed and honorable roofer carpenter that we could find. Mike sorted out issues we had with the power and scaffolding companies. He organised for the asbestos eaves to be removed safely. As Mike did a very good job with our gutters & eaves, we engaged him to replace our roof, which he did at a competitive price. Mike is very competent and his workmanship is very very good. The entire job took nearly two months and Mike cleaned up the front & back yards after the jobs were complete. Mike is very industrious, works hard and we kept him well hydrated as he loves his English Breakfast teas. Mike is true to his word and looked after and cared for our house like it was his home - he did stuff for us which was not part of the contract and we are very appreciative of him. Mike is agile and tailored solutions to unforeseen problems that arose. We look forward to Mike coming back to complete one small tasks once our patio is fixed by another specialist trade.

We had planned to do a new roof and all sorts of other bits and pieces to our new (old) home and Michael was so incredibly helpful with literally every aspect. He knew we were very much amateurs at renovating and provided much needed subject matter expertise and made sure we did everything in the right order and at the right time. Michael treated our house like he was working in his own home and the finished product represents that commitment to perfection. Our new roof is, as the name suggests, “pitcher” perfect! We wouldn’t hesitant to use Michael again and we highly recommend him.

Michael was very responsive despite us contacting him during the busy holiday period - and once he took on our job - Michael started very early in the morning to ensure the work was completed on time but also stayed back to do some additional unexpected/unquoted work (without any additional charges) to ensure the roof/gutter is in top condition when he finished everything. Michael is very professional and his workmanship/experience is impressive but perhaps most importantly - we felt we could trust him and that he cared about ensuring he was doing a comprehensive job that will stand the test of time. I have no hesitation to recommend Michael for anyone seeking to have any roofing work completed to a high standard.

Michael came promptly (and on time) to give a quote. He quickly identified the problems with our roof guttering and also was aware of the need to do the work on protective planks to avoid damage to existing roof plates (which other people who quoted had no idea about). We also wanted to re-fit the existing gutter-guard back onto the new gutters. His quotation was reasonable and he started the next day. Everything was done very well and without fuss. He cleaned up nicely after the job was completed. Great service and result. He is a refreshing positive change to my many negative experiences with other "tradesmen". I have no hesitation to highly recommend Michael's professional roofing services.

What can I say? Michael has turned our rusty iron roof (that was starting to leak) into a roof of which we can be proud. It was not an easy job as our roof has many compound angles and is quite steep, but Michael’s experience in the industry showed as he has produced a brilliant roof. Michael works extremely hard and is very professional in the way he works; he keeps us informed as to progress, does his job in a timely manner and really cares for the finished item. Michael did a great job of repairing our roof after hail damaged and then a full replacement of the front half of our roof. Getting our 80 year old roof back to life was a tough challenge and you cannot get a more experienced craftsman than Michael. It was great to see that he does the work personally, not leaving it to lesser skilled people. We are very happy with the results and the care taken to prevent damage to our garden and vehicles.

Michael was brilliant from start to finish. Great communication and kept us updated at every stage of the work. His experience shone through with a couple of curly unforeseen speed bumps, which he was able to resolve. Michael is professional and skillful, he cares about details and works hard to make sure the new roof sheets fit properly with the old tiled roof. He loves his work and cares about people.
