I've been at this location probably about three times in the last week and a half. Actually used to have a membership a few years ago and I noticed coming back a lot of the machines were run down or out of order. I also noticed about the mask wearing not only do you see customers walking around without mask covering their faces I've seen a couple employees during the same thing. I mean it's already bad enough after the exercising with your mask off but then again I understand you need to breathe. But when you have people walking without mask on that gets a little crazy. Just like I'm also noticed a lot of people in the locker rooms they see the set for long period of time without their mask on. And then you tend to have the ones that want to set at the machine on their phones for an extended time or the ones acting like they doing something but they're not that seems to be big there. I usually spend about 3 hours a day or so and I think I've only seen the employees wipe down some of the stuff once if even that. Just like I said I was also a previous member I tried to use my same account and had problems right off the bat the guy tried to say that I was having Wi-Fi issues or something my account is definitely not connected to my PF app . I mean outside of covid and then the gym looks like it's not really being kept up and often smells like a sweaty locker not the worse but there's much room for improvement. These people should take their jobs seriously and make sure everybody's obeying the policies.

Been going here for a year, but today 5/16/21 around 3pm there were 3 guys at the front desk. I tried to check in with my phone number and the guy acted like it was a bothersome. The fact that all 3 guys just stands there and socialize on their phones the whole hour I was there is not a good image. Later on I requested time on a massage chair. They gave me ONE coin good for 5 minutes, lol seriously? When I walked back there both were in used. If they actually did something productive instead chit chatting they would have known. I’ve been to other outer state locations (Huntsville, AL and Cocoa, FL), and those kids working those gyms would run laps around the ppl hired at this location. They are always professional, always cleaning, and emits positive energies.

The "annual fee" hit my bank account at the worst, most unexpected time for me and speaking to the manager gets you no where. They refuse to do a refund even if you call the day it hits your account to cancel. They care more about keeping their $30 than helping their long time members who are currently in a financial crisis and could not afford to pay that money that needed to go towards a rent payment. The GM will hang up on you and be extremely rude when you call back. I will not stay with planet fitness after this even though my monthly income will become more stable in about two weeks and I probably could have afforded it then.

Great environment, very helpful staff members, amazing workout ideas setup for you to work on. New equipments to work out the entire body. Electrical massage table and seats. They also have multiple tanning booth one to lay down on or one to stand up and a whole body tanning booth. Open 24/7 very clean environment I felt amazingly safe going to Planet Fitness having a good workout knowing that every station is sanitize and wipe down. They have everything you need to get a total body workout. They have locker rooms shower to clean up after yourself after you get done with a total workout.

the staff does seem to care for the customer i pointed and 2 times to them that there is a sign in the 30 minute work area that says don't linger on machine but people do it all the time with no care for the next person . very very bad place to work out at this location probably not going back to this location. when i point out i really was mad and i got laughed at by the employee which did nothing. he asked me if i would do his job by telling people to get of machines' told him if they would not enforce the rules then take the sign off the wall.

Was a member here before Covid and tried to come back twice since reopening. I guess it’s hard to find good staff, but how hard it is to clean the tanning room when someone is done? First offense the manager called me and apologized, then waived my monthly fee for one month. I decided to give it another try- beds were “‘not working” then don’t offer the room? Offered another room- towels and used eye stickers were on the floor. Don’t offer amenities like massage chair & tanning with the gym membership if your team can’t handle it.

I visit this planet fitness about five mornings a week and it really is fantastic. The facilities are well maintained, the staff is helpful and friendly, and all the equipment is in proper working order. Very rarely do I see anything that’s under maintenance. If this location had one or two additional pieces of equipment that they’re currently lacking, I’d rent out one of the cleaning closets and take up permanent residence here. All seriousness, I’m extremely happy with this location; one of the best I’ve ever been to.

I come to this PF almost regularly seveal times that I been here there is guy that is always asleep in the showers dressing stall. He even takes the chair from the adjoining stall so there no place to sit. Today there was a elderly man try to shower and he couldn't prepare cause the guy is asleep in the stall and no chair in the second stall cause he took it . Don't know why the staff doesn't say anything cause they been in there when he is asleep. Don't know if this guy is homeless but this is not the place to sleep.

This is my happy place where I can come and recharge my energy during the week. I been using this gym for more than a year and the facility is very clean and organized, the workers at the front desk are very nice and welcoming. Also they have an awesome trainer Di- John who is willing to help everyone who what to be help. I have been training with him for couple months and I can see the difference. He is very encouraging and he is always with big smiles and a great attitude. I really recommend this gym!!!

This gym has been awful since they switched managers (the former manager -blonde lady- was awesome!!). I get the one coin situation IF the gym is completely full and there’s a line for the massage chairs, but it’s awful if that “rule” is kept when the gym is EMPTY. Also, some of the staff has pretty bad attitudes towards the clients… Costumer service used to be ON POINT, but now I’m considering switching gyms for one that has good service.

It is still very clean. The management really doesn't enforce the 'clean the gym stuff after you use it rule' but majority of people still observe it. It is obscenely crowded during the day during peak hours like when most people who get off of work. It is also a very small location. I just rated it three stars for the location being so small.The staff is super friendly and will help you with any qualms about the facility besides the building size because it is a fixed asset.

All new equipment is alright. They now have water massage beds which are cool. All the staff is nice except for the girl that works their overnight. At one point we were the only ones in the gym and she was mopping. She did stop and talk to me for a little while but when I asked if she would like to have dinner with me sometime, She told me no because she had a boyfriend. I just walked away after that. She is pretty but has the worst customer service. Avoid going overnight.

Not quite as much equipment here as some more intensive workout places, but definitely a great starting point. Being able to bring a friend and access to all locations was a huge selling point for the price. This gym is very clean and the staff is personable. I don't like how there is no longer a scale in the bathrooms, just one in the main room. I feel like having to weigh yourself in front of everyone is very intimidating for many people, otherwise a nice workout space.

Friendly staff, proper working equipment, and cleanliness are why I feel comfortable giving this place 5-stars. I have been coming to this gym almost a year now and I have never had any issues. I have never taken a shower here but the restrooms look clean and I always see someone walking around cleaning. It is definitely a smaller gym but I really love that it is open 24 hours. The gym equipment is always functioning properly. For the size, it is a great gym.

It was my first time at this location and I feared it may be drastically different from the one I normally go to. Well, it was… but not in a bad way, but in a sort of homely good way. It seemed a little smaller, but I enjoyed the openness of the whole thing. Everything I wanted was present without a lot of unnecessary spacing. I would definitely recommend it over my previous places, and the fact it’s closest to my home is just icing on the cake!

I like the gym a lot, suits all my needs. The only complaint I have is about a staff member named Darius. It is only my first week here and i was unsure if I could just walk in with my friend. I walked past the counter and scanned my card and walked with my friend and he yelled as us saying “ excuse me, y’all still have to check in”. Both my friend and I agree his tone was pretty rude. Really killed my mood. Could have better customer service

The first shift Receptionists have a disgusting attitude towards the clients of the club. I rarely go to the club with a black card, but their massage beds turned out to be broken and they give out one coin per massage chair, the supervisor did not take the side of the client, and I did not receive two coins at once. On the second shift there are good guys with whom it is pleasant to communicate and they serve customers at a high level!

It's a gym. But not a planet fitness. I have worked in planet fitness and also have been working out there since I got out of the service. This planet fitness was dirty, the weights were not reracked properly if even reracked at all. No one was cleaning. Staff was friendly, but did not enforce any Planet Fitness Standards I am visiting Texas for work and I am going to drive further to find a better Planet Fitness.

i dont know how they do it but every time ive been there ive seen at least one bandaid in each shower, its gross. also there is almost never anyone at the desk and if someone is there they are usually texting or talking to each other while ignoring the guests. maybe instead of chit chatting they can clean those bandaids out of the showers. not to mention the homless that use the showers and leave it black

I go to this gym Tuesday through Friday night's. Tonight I sat at the front to use the hydro bed, since I pay extra for the black card membership. So from 11:30pm to 11:40pm, there was NO employee, at the front desk to take care of their members. So I left VERY dissatisfied. I guess I will need to find a business that is willing to take care of their members. Been with this company for 9 years.

Gerald at the front desk was a big help navigating all the new changes corporate has implemented. He was patient and kind and the man needs a raise for explaining that even though you take a pic in the app it doesn't upload to the gym computer. Also, People use the app for convenience and to cut down on interactions and the new changes interfere with that, thankfully Gerald was there.

For the value and my basic needs Planet fitness is doable. At this location I love the staff, the place is clean and the members are oddly enough cool. I prefer Golds Gym but the staff were very much cliquish and lack of accountability and the we got attacked allot by members at Golds. I didn’t want to stop working out. For now I feel safe at PF. I just want to workout.

Me and my hubby Sen have been going to PF for a week now and we love the EVERYTHING THERE! From the machines to the locker room area and even the relaxing part of the gym. Absolutely hated my experience at this location! The trainer there is a joke! He acts like he’s better than everyone and is mostly just hanging around at the reception like he owns the place! I’m glad I’m out of that membership! Hopefully he gets a humbling dose of kindness and empathy because from what I could see he lacks that and more!

Just wanted to bring to your attention things I’ve been addressed about to me wearing jeans on the floor yet you let others wear pajamas to the gym , and my Fanny pack not being on the equipment but staying on my waist , yet I see big gym bags on the floor next the other members… just have all your staff address the rules accordingly.

I don't understand the cell phone policy. People use their cell phones a lot during exercise and they take a long time at the exercise stations. I tried to use a station and the girl took almost 30 minutes on the cell phone, she did not move or do anything on the exercise station when I told her that if i can use it, she got angry

Disrespectful as employees. I will be canceling my membership and taking my money somewhere else butb dont come to this location.. Black dude with glasses and a fat girl. Love this little gym. The equipment is much better than Golds, because seats and benches are not torn or bent and fairly new almost all the time. Matching barbells and bars available unless its crowded. No contract just monthly affordable billing. No meatheads taking selfies either. Respectful of your space. Awesome!

Friendly staff, but unsanitary conditions. The women's restroom has had the blood on the floor for atleast 4 days straight! Newly built gym. Good amount of equipment but the place gets really busy during peak hours (11am-7pm). I'd recommend going after these times if you do not like crowds. The one thing that bugs me is that sometimes they don't have paper towels or sometimes their cleaner is too light meaning they dilute it too much.

This place is great. The prices are very good, the staff professional, kind, respectful and knowledgeable. You have to love the hydro-massage beds and massage chairs that are so helpful after a workout and shower to work out anything sore after working out and helpful for your circulation. Keep up the great work!

I had a membership with planet fitness maybe six years ago and I cancelled my my membership with them. Turns out that they have been charging me this whole time. I'm going to check and see if there is a class action lawsuit against you and if there is I am going to join it. You're company is the biggest rip off.

I go to Gold’s but my wife goes here so I can go with her sometimes. It’s clean, the staff is cool and the equipment is nice as well. Only dumbbells but... there hasn’t been any exercises in my routine I couldn’t quickly find a machine replacement for when visiting this gym. It’s fun to switch it up.

I have all my basic requirements in this gym. I love the hydromassager and massage chair. Quite adamant signing up using my checking account (does not accept cc)but was assured it can be cancelled anytime realtime in person. Let’s see what happens. Will be staying in this gym for a while.

These stair masters has been down since last yr October 2021 and no one cares to fix it. The owner and the management doesn’t seem to take care of it and update most of the equipment. I pray we have Fitness Connection here in San Antonio soon and this facility will be out of business.

It's okay. No sauna, or childcare. But it's rarely packed. Some of the cleaning stations need to be repaired. It's frustrating having to go to another section of the gym just to go back and clean your equipment. I can see why many people just don't clean it. I bring my own wipes.

This is my home club. I love it. Staff in the early mornings are nice, just wish they'd give me 2 tokens for the massage chair. They are lacking a few of the newer items like the big yellow thing that has the ropes and stuff. But I'm not sure they have the space to put it there.

Gym is kind of small. First time i went it smelled heavily of sweat despite few people in the gym. LOTS OF CREEPERS AT THIS LOCATION! have witnessed multiple older individuals harassing younger women every single time ive visited, has been noticed by other gym go-ers as well.

Great location near my office. Even during peak hours plenty of equipment available. Trainer very helpful. Kept very clean and maintained. Staff very friendly. Fees were explained up front. I DO NOT feel like anything fee wise was hidden. Staff is the best!!! glad I joined.

4 stars due to lack of weight training equipment. Clean gym with a friendly staff. Just wish they had a little less cardio equipment which takes up almost their entire space and are never fully used. Good starter gym but would recommend golds if you are serious about gains.

Don't waste you money, their staff never enforce policies and almost always all talking behind desk with towels/cleaner empty. Allow High school students in for free and they clog up the equipment. Saw this behavior for 6 months, canceled membership, will never be back.

pretty good gym for the most part it is always clean and friendly staff. only thing that is starting to get annoying is 2 out of the 4 stair masters have been out of service for months now. sometimes i don’t even get to finish my workout because both are being used.

Signed up for a membership and already had Day one off using facility. Just getting back into the rhythm of things. So glad that’s their equipment that helps ease into working out. Staff is above and beyond. Other gym members are also friendly and outgoing.

The pricing is fine but unless you're there for treadmills it's very crowded and some of the equipment is broken. It's great for if you're just getting into working out but if going to the gym is something you know you enjoy I'd look for another gym.

I just flew in from Buffalo. I had an hour to kill before I could check into my hotel and needed to run but it was pouring out. This planet fitness had all new treadmills, it was great! There hydro.massage bed was better than in buffalo too!

First time and I liked it. I cannot do anything serious as far as working out due to an I jury from an accident but they have simple things to do such as walking on a treadmill, sitting bike and massage chairs... which is really nice.

Love the new location and all the new equipment. I just hate how many tools that have now shown up at this location. Other than getting my daily dose of all the tools, I absolutely love it! It's always clean and the staff is awesome.

This is an older PF, but very well maintained and the staff is friendly. The machines in the main area are packed too closely together. Also, this PF did not have the smaller lockers in the main area, so a lot of folks were carrying

I quite enjoyed my workout though light, yesterday, Tuesday, 08-29-2023. I relaxed and end my work out session. With the Back and leg Massager and the Hydro Body Massager... Quite enjoyable work out for my first day of gym work out.

I love the layout of the gym, you have good visibility of the whole gym from pretty much anywhere in the gym. The wide variety of equipment makes it easy and still enjoyable to work out often, and the staff is always super sweet!

Definitely the best gym in the San Antonio Planet Fitness system. The manager and staff are so great. I've been coming here since 2012 except for two years I moved away. Now that I'm back I love that this is my home gym again.

I love it here! No judgement zone, clean, and they have all the equipment you need to transform your body! I wish it was a little larger, during peak times you may have to wait for the equipment you want. Overall great gym.

I have been using Josiah as my personal trainer for the last 3 weeks and he is absolutely amazing I have been so impressed with him and I truly appreciate his time, his patience and his knowledge! And he's an inspiration!!

This planet fitness has great customer service, clean and eager to help with any questions. The only thing missing is a scale. They use to have one in the women’s dressing room / bathroom.

It was a good workout. I tried to do the massage and get the black card but you have to be 18+ because it includes tanning which I will not do. That's the reason this isn't a 5 star

People like to hate on Planet Fitness, but this one had all of the weights, cardio, and hospitality amenities that any athlete could ask for

No squat rack, or Olympic bench. Plenty of dumbbells. If this place had a squat rack and bench press I wouldn't be considering other gyms.

Staff was super friendly. Shower cold. No soap. Massage chairs are old and sound like they're on the cusp of collapse.

Reasonable price to stay fit. Afterwards the HydroMassage & Message chair is a must. Beauty Angel really works.
