I know that it’s boxing day and retail workers are tired, busy and stressed out, but my experience here today made me feel pretty awful. The girl at the front of the store around 10am had a lovely welcoming smile and great attitude so this isn’t directed at her. I went to the counter to try and exchange a pair of shoes I had received as a Christmas gift that didn’t fit me. I asked if any of the same shoe were available in the size above in any colour, in any of their stores. I was told that they were unsure (without anything even being looked up on the computer system) and that I should go and ask a staff member in another part of the store or go and look on the shelves myself. I went to seek out the other staff member’s help and she told me to check the shelf as well. I asked if she knew if any other stores stocked the type of shoe I was looking for, to which she told me she didn’t know. Might be helpful if there was some way to look this up? To top it all off, on my way out of the store, I was accused by the security guard of stealing the pair of shoes I had come in with to exchange, so that was fun.

The customer service in this place is well below average. Purchased a pair of Lacoste trainers today. Only pair for the size we were requesting was a display pair. Was basically told thats it. When asked if other people had tried them on we got a shrug of the shoulder from the rude female attendant. She went to look if they has them online. Was told no and she had spoken to the manager and they would give us 10% discount asthe display shoes had been worn. Proceeded to the register and the male blonde haired manager quipped 'thats a sizeable discount on a $180 pair of shoes (we are talking $10) and he stormed off. The team here could really learn that customer service will keep them employed and in a job.

Asked for a pair of shoes they said they would grab them for me straight away but instead helped 3 other customers and got their shoes before me. And then told me they didn’t have size 12 I then ask for a different pair of shoes in my size. Closest they had were 13. They fit alright but one of the souls was from another shoe or something because it didn’t match the other one and was too big so it stuck up. The other shoe of the pair was a display one that millions of people have touched. Can’t I just get a new pair of shoes? Why is everything going wrong here!

Purchased a pair of shoes for my son on the weekend to find they were faulty straight out of the box with a faulty lace loop once I got home. I don't live close to the store and cannot easily return them in person.. but willing to send back via courier once the Store gives me a return authority with address and personnel contact details.. Contacted the store who now dont want to know me. What should be a simple warranty replacement is being made difficult. Poor form!

Went in to the store and was Immediately greeted by Dominic. My experience at Platypus Melbourne central was outstanding and exceeded my expectations. Dominic was able to provide a personalized experience that could not be topped by Team members at competing retail outlets.

Ordered shoes online : faulty and I have to pay postage to return ! Terrible : At least footlocker have free return postage Won’t buy from these guys again : Out of pocket for postage

Jarrod (hope I spelt it right) was totally amazing today!!!! 10 out of 10 for customer service. I would not hesitate to go back (as long as Jarrod serves us).

Didn't find what I was looking for but the staff were very helpful in pointing me in the right direction for my requirements.

Arrived in store and staff talking and not attending customers. Lack training in customer service. Very shocking
