After hearing that this place was one of the "Best of the Cape" finalists on KFM, i decided that I have to give it a visit. We were seated at a table that had dried out ketchup spatter on it. Not the best first impression. When we asked if we could sit inside due to the cold weather, we were informed that there is no inside seating, only outside, in the weather. No problem, can I have a cappuccino? yes, but you have to walk to the shop next door to order and pay for it... Still, in the back of my mind I knew that they were one of the finalists of best of the Cape, therefore the food will surely make up for it. Wrong again... The burger was tasteless, and utterly underwhelming. The chips were not even made from real potatoes. I confirmed from the waitress that is was deepfried ovenbake chips. It was like eating over-spiced cardboard. The only thing that had some taste to it, was the bacon, and the only thing premium about the whole experience was the price... Its very sad, such a nice area with so much potential.

Based on strong public recommendations, we decided to personally visit the place and see what it had to offer. Our experience was wonderful, especially when we considered trying out their burgers for breakfast - they were too tempting to pass up. The venue provided ample open space, convenient parking, and was just a stone's throw away from the sea, which added to the overall charm. The service was exceptional, and the food was absolutely fantastic. Kudos! You can definitely expect us to return.

Mexican food not authentic or season at all , very disappointing and bland , sunrise breakfast nice tho but stay away from the Mexican , very strange to have such a large amount of Mexican options of menu with no real flavour or spice added , guava extremely bland , chilli meat is basil Ly just plain oily mince , salsa is just chopped tomato with no seasonings whatsoever , I’ve tried tons of Mexican food before had authentic Mexican before and mediocre tex max style but this is on the very low end of the scale , pls rethink Mexican portion of ur menu and put some effort into it

Just ordered the chicken and bacon wrap. OMG. Chips were crispy and crunchy en scrumptious! The chips were better than I've had at 5star restaurants! Chicken and bacon was grilled to perfection. I could do with a bit of mayo on the wrap. But this is honestly the best take-away I've had in Gordon's bay, EVER. I could not have done it better myself. Will definitely be ordering here again! Kudos to the chef, 5stars, I'm super happy!!!

We will not go to this restaurant again. It was probably one of the worst experiences that we had. We went on a Saturday afternoon and the burgers were undercooked. After my wife asked for a doggy bag and informed the chef that the burgers were not properly cooked, the arrogant chef took the food to the kitchen area of the restaurant and maliciously put a piece of chewed gum that my wife had left on the side of her plate inside of her burger. We didn't know about this until we got home and found the gum inside of the burger. The owner should definitely fire this chef.

We used this catering service for my sisters bridal shower weekend in Gordon’s Bay. I can’t recommend this catering service enough. Ordering was super easy, she always emailed me back straight away and answered any queries I had. She even catered for gluten free guests. We ordered 2 nights dinners and she even made fresh croissants for us for breakfast so nobody had to cook that weekend. The food was so tasty, the portions were great, the price was perfect and such a good variety of food to choose from. Highly recommend them for catering dinners or parties!

Super delicious breakfast, casual and friendly atmosphere. We sat outside. They don't serve coffee....need to get that next door but place your order there and they'll bring it to you at Potters. One or two homeless folks loitering about...I think they wanted to use the bathroom facilities. But they were not a problem otherwise...i.e. did not bother patrons

I had the full English breakfast. It was amazing. It tasted delicious. The staff is amazing. Thier pancakes is so tasty too from the cinnamon and sugar to the chicken mayo. Never been disappointed with their food. Burgers are just as great. Infact I think everything on their menu will be what you are looking for. Definitely a place you should try. employees Very DISRESPECTFUL! Very unfortunate that we ordered milkshakes and you didn't even notice because you were to busy swearing at us behind the counter. Also ice cream isn't food and 3 more people came with their own ice cream from the other shop but because we are teenagers you chose to pick on us by saying mean words indirectly to us. And also its not nice to lie since we cleaned up our milkshakes etc.

If you are hungry and need a quick bite, or a full meal. The potters pantry is an amazing place to go. Service is quick and friendly. And it’s located in a small mall so you can browse the shops while you wait for your food. The best time to go is during the summer, parking can be a bit crazy then. But there is planets of street parking around the corner. It is outside so take warm clothes during winter

A lovely day trip to Gordon's Bay lead us to find this place, Potter's Pantry. The menu had items that both my partner and I were interested in. I ordered the Salmon Pancake and my partner ordered the Eggs Benedict. We give both meals a 10/10! The art work on the wall, done by @walfie_artpage is fun to look at and to get some Instagram photos. 5 Stars for Potter's Pantry. Happy customer, Nitanja

Friendly personal touch family business, fresh tasty and serious value for money on what ever you order from them ! A really must visit spot when you stop in Gordon’s bay!!!! Definately ask Kevin if he has some of his hot sauce if you can handle hot !!! Devine and really tasty hot sauce!!!! (Note it is extremely HOT) Thank you Jackie and Kevin will definately be back for more!!!

Always one of my favourite places to go visit when I'm in Gordon's Bay as I've never been disappointed in the food and the value for money you receive. Great breakfast and lunch option to suite your needs.

Situated by On the Go's decks across from the sea you can have your awesome meal. I had the New Yorker chicken dish, and it really was delicious. Chicken was cooked perfectly and the chips are great and the salad a healthy bonus. Get your coffee or drinks from On the Go and enjoy a relaxed meal.

Absolutely loved this place, tucked away from the wind with lots of sunlight. Truly delightful and comfortable atmosphere. Lovely view. Food was exceptional

I ordered food from this place it wasn't bad but , I asked my Uber eats delivery driver to make change for me upon delivery, he did so and I gave the full amount (actually 10 rand more ) but when I checked my phone it told me I owe them a 66 rand so the driver did not give them the full amount

I am new in Gordons bay and on Friday i was in the mood for a burger with chips. As I was rather hungry I ordered online, the burger was was sadly not good it was a stodgy burger that was overdone, the salad was the bare minimum and the chips was not fresh. So no I won't order from here again.

My girlfriend and I had a great meal at Potter’s Pastry! Amazing food, service with a smile, and very reasonably priced. Filled me up!

Had lunch here Easter Sunday, a gem up an alley opposite the main parking area. Food was attractive, hot and oh so tasty. Thoroughly enjoyable, if you are in Gordon's Bay well worth a stop off. Thank you Potter's Pantry, go well in the future.
