We love Pratten Park as our neighbourhood park. The play equipment is simple and dated, but it is still interesting enough for younger and older children. The oval has proven popular for laps and sport during lockdown, so it had to be treated because of overuse and a dry winter. Don't worry! The grass is growing again!

What a great experience. I wasn't looking forward to getting prescriptions filled today. However, the amazing lady behind the prescriptions counter talked me through everything I needed to know and more. I truly couldn't have asked for more. I now have a local Chemist.

Visited the Polish club pop up restaurant, this happens once a month, as the Polish club is being rebuilt. Need to book. Great Polish food, also take away if you wish. Nice of the bowling club to allow this happen. Go next month you will not be disappointed.

Undoubtedly one of the best cricket grounds in Sydney Metro. It has an electronic score display with ample parking on site. A little play ground on site where little one can enjoy under the shed. It is a walkable distance from close by Shopping mall.

Lovely big park around a cricket and soccer ⚽ oval. Tennis courts next to the park, practice cages for cricket, and a small child's playground. Lots of trees, great for a casual wander or doing a few laps. Good park to bring the dog

Nice oval venue suitable for most ball sports. Small grandstand and canteen. Not much parking available and street parkingis limited. Plenty of seating or watch the game from the hill. Excellent large scoreboard on opposite end to the grandstand

  • Shane Wong

Great for sport and exercise with an oval for cricket/soccer supporting local comps. It has a couple of cricket nets and a grandstand, car park, public toilets, and a small poorly maintained kids playground (something always seems to be broken)

  • David Baxter

A fabulous place to watch Sydney Grade cricket. Not for no reason has the ground been awarded for the last two years the Best Ground of the Year by the Sydney Cricket Association. Surprisingly close to Ashfield Mall; which is handy if you

Beautiful small park, I guess, more of a playground than park. It has an oval where school kids and local clubs come to practice sports. It also has small play area for kids - very handy for the locals in the area to take kids out. Also,

Ah Pratten park. Was prompted by Google to produce a review of these sporting ovals. My experience is quite limited when it comes to ovals. Never been a particularly sporting type, and at one stage would feel dizzy when I stepped onto an

It's ok but you have to set up your own nets as well as pack them up, as a tennis player of 7 years this is the first tennis ground I've seen where you have to set up the nets as well as is being a grass court.

Pratten Park is a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. It has a nice oval, kids play area, and cricket practice nets. It's also well-maintained and safe to visit at night.

Great place to just walk around and get some exercise. When it's empty, it becomes very peaceful to take a nap or read a book in the grasses outside the field. Love this place!

  • Frosted

I was impressed with the facilities. The people & staff were friendly. Most importantly, for people, especially with young children, the toilet facilities were clean and OPEN.

Serving hearty Polish / Hungarian food with a friendly local feel, this is a great spot in Ashfield. A warm summer evening spent over a meal and drinks is excellent.

A very tidy oval, popular with walkers and dogs. Plenty of parking, although the woodchip area gets muddy - you may get bogged.
