I was not happy with my experience at all at this hotel. My van was stolen which couldn't of been helped at all , which I understand. The next day I woke up , walked to the car park and my van was gone. I then walked back to the reception and the response really was laughing. It wasn't really any seriousness to it. I don't find it funny where now I can't make a living because my van was stolen . When I asked to see the manager they said the manager isn't in til 12. I said well ring her and ask her to come in because someone has just stole my van. They said she could not. I left my number and asked them for the manager to get back to me. She did not , as I turned up back from work on trying to get work done to earn money. She was about to leave and told me that she couldn't do anything when I spoke to the police and said yes she can she can look and give us a description of the person or a suspicious vehicle. The manager did not care. The manager of this hotel and the carelessness was not acceptable. I'm pretty sure if it was there car or A family's member they deffinately would. Also found out that it's not the first time vans have been stolen. For people who are staying here in the future. Please be careful that it's not a safe area

Stayed on an August Monday night, and wished I had booked more here rather than at others already booked. Main plus point is that it had AIR CON which given the heatwave at the time was very welcome, but could also open the window to get fresh air when I wanted to. Had an upper floor room overlooking the main entrance, which wasn't as noisy as expected. Room was standard Premier Inn fare really, one of the more up to date rooms with the purple bed light and connections by the desk for USB/HDMI etc to hook your laptop or movies on a stick up to the TV. Was perfectly clean so felt it was likely they were taking the extra 2 hours (check in now 1600 rather than 1400 and out by 12noon still) to clean the room in a covid safe manner. WIFI as slow as all the other premier inn's unless you paid the extra for their higher package, although as long as you were prepared to wait to load, it did manage to stream ok in SD. Car parking a bit of an issue as they had big truck parked up at the back that took up a LOT of spaces, and by later evening there were lots of vans too which were rather tight to your if parked next to one. Would certainly stay again, especially when paying under £40 it was very good value.

Disabled access is not the best. To staty with my WAV would not fit under the roof to get to the Disabled parking. I had to park around the back. Apart from the front door the door to access the rooms is quite heavily sprung the same as the second door and the same as the room door. The corridor to the accessible rooms is just to narrow and I had a lot of difficulty getting my mobility scooter into my room having to shunt several times and it was impossibleto get in the room without scraping my mobility scooter on the door frame causing minor damage to my mobilityscooter. The room is ok the bed comfortable but not really designed to take a mobility scooter. The room was freezing. It was a very cold night outside and it felt like a fridge inside the room. I put the pathetic heating on highest temp and fan but it was 5 hours before it was warm enough for me, until then to try and get warm I had to get into bed fully clothed. The final straw was, as this was supposed to be an accessible room, there was an over bath shower, great if you can get in and out of a bath but I am not able to do this. Breakfast was good, however this also is not set up for access for disabled especially those on a mobility scooter.

It is an ok place to stay, meets the requirements of a hotel but service was lacking in many ways. After checking in, as I left the hotel to go to a social engagement I asked at reception for more towels to be sent to my room, they said this was fine, however when I returned many hours later they hadn't been delivered, I had to ask again before I received them. Also on the second day of my stay in the afternoon, (after being out all morning) the cleaner knocked at my door and asked if I needed anything, my room hadn't been cleaned or replenished so I was confused, I told her that I'd be leaving in a moment if she wanted to clean the room, she replied by telling me she was leaving shortly so she wouldn't be able to clean my room. I then asked for her to replenish my coffee and milk, she said I can collect these items from near reception. Also each morning the smell of marijuana came through the vents a into the bathroom. Also bed was not comfy in my opinion, it was too soft.

Unfortunately due to renovation works going on in the hotel, there were no food or drink being served, this was a devastating surprise as when booked on line there was no information to say what was and what wasn't available to customers. on arrival we was checked in and was quickly told that they were sorry but our room was to be a little difficult to get to..We had to go through a fire escape door,up some metal stairs through rooms on level 1 and then down some more metal stairs and then a walk to our room on ground floor.the room itself was not up to premier inn standards.pillows were flat the duvet was thin and not of normal quality. The bed which normally is the best nights sleep you could have as we have stayed in many across the country.this particular bed was awful..lumpy and hard.very disappointing. Reception said this renovation work will continue until April..So please avoid. One positive,it was close to our choice of destination.

Another great stay within the premier Inn hotels. Ideal location to surrounding areas. Nice polite staff, breakfast was very nice also. The eating area isn't massive which meant a small wait for bigger groups but caused some customers to complain, this isn't anything to do with the staff but being the ones at the front line got the abuse of annoyed visitors. They were very helpful and asked if they mind either waiting or to sit at different tables. I feel the staff couldn't do enough in making sure everyone was satisfied throughout there stay.

Excellent Premier Inn, with the new style rooms! Staff friendly and great service, the Thyme restaurant offered nice meals in the evening and the usual high quality breakfast in the morning. There is however one BIG PROBLEM and hence the three star rating. This is the flooring in the hotel and how you can hear every single footstep from the guest above you. The guest on the next floor above my room, must have arrived late, around midnight(ish). All I heard till about 3am, was them stomping around the room. Initially I thought they were being inconsiderate, however the next morning I could the cleaner cleaning the room and as she ran the vacuum around the room above me, it sounded like she was drilling through the floor! I'm now claiming back under the Premier Inn sleep guarantee, after an awful night sleep from the noise above me.

  • Steve McShane

Staff were really lovely. The ladies on the breakfast area were just brilliant! Location is about 3 miles from the centre, but easy to get to off the M621. It's not far from the White Rose Centre either. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the lighting was nice and the corridors were clean and tidy. I thought we had an excellent evening/sleep there. One thing: I could hear every step made by the person in the room above me. Did I make the same noise for anyone in the room beneath?! But this is just a minor thing. This is my first time staying at a Premier Inn and it was a very good experience, so I would certainly use them again. Thank you!

The rooms are absolutely fine - nothing wrong there. However, the restaurant is FAR to small for the size of the hotel. It is very difficult to get a table in the first place and the when you do there is easily a half hour to 45 minute wait for food. Not to mention many of the options on the menu are unavailable because they have ran out, seemingly because the kitchen is not resourced well enough to serve the people in the hotel when it is busy. I normally rave about Premier Inns but this one is to be avoided based on its complete inadequacy in the restaurant/kitchen department. The situation is not helped by it being in the middle of an industrial estate with no real restaurant options nearby.

Really friendly and helpful staff who try their best to accommodate customer needs. Big shout out to Kerry and Rosita who were exceptionally good. Bedrooms are standard Premier Inn. Breakfast is a bit unusual due to focus but staff try really hard to keep things moving - quality is good though. Plenty of parking spaces. Nearby shops/eateries at White Rose. City centre about 15mins drive away. Leeds has everything you'd expect in a major city. Only negative was the Aircon switched off overnight every hour or so, which meant you either woke up hot or had to get up to turn it back on. I'm sure this is to save electricity but for a few pence extra per room it's a false economy. Would happily stay again as the staff were lovely

  • John Milnes

I stayed here on business just this week. My van was broken into and contents stolen. There was no sense of sympathy or urgency from the staff who proceeded to inform the cameras picked up nothing. Well, they won't if they are covered in trees or pointing downwards (as highlighted by SOCO...This is an unsafe place to stay if you have a work van in my opinion. This location has had this occur more than once. Breakfast wait time one morning was an hour, forgot cutlery, juice and toast... I use Premier Inns almost always and have to say this is the worst I've stayed at. No matter how close I would be to a job from this hotel, I wouldn't stay again.

Escobar on a bit of business just outside Leeds. Needed somewhere discreet to crash for a couple of night. Plenty of parking for my motorcade. Friendly staff (like everywhere in Leeds). Clean room but why only two teabags and where are the biscuits, hot chocolate and water that escobar had come to expect? As per recent experience in other Premier Inn recently there weren't enough staff in the restaurant causing a long delay for food. It was very good when it eventually came though. Tasty chicken wings and a gorgeous steak. Why only a few things on the menu though and no pizza? How to run out of flour, year and tomatoes? I don't know. Nice big tele and big bath to relax though.

We had a four night work stay at this hotel and the hotel is conveniently located very clean, the staff were very very polite and we will definitely be returning. I have to make special note of one particular staff member who truly went the extra mile for us his name is John he’s a night manager who truly took care of us when we came in from work in the early hours of the morning letting us have a drink and a relax before we went up to our rooms! he’s a great guy if you find yourself there say hi to him, just a great guy doing a great job

Sadly the worst premier inn stay I have ever encountered. As a loyal premier inn customer, country wide. Disappointed to least. Clearly, we got one on the few rooms to not yet have the bed replaced, we both had very little sleep. The air conditioning unit didn’t work and to a lady of a certain age that’s vital. They advertise reception staff available 24/7 but there’s no phones. Breakfast, well, there was nothing available as the poor staff simply couldn’t keep upto the demand of a busy hotel, 2 staff simply is not enough!

One of the best Premier Inn’s we’ve stayed at. Rooms were spacious, bed was comfortable and breakfast was good. Breakfast staff were very attentive. Good selection of vegan options for breakfast. I just wish Premier Inn would scrap the silly 3pm only check in. We arrived around 2:30 and didn’t manage to check in until around 3:30. From 3pm the queue was out the door and into the car park with people waiting to check in, most of which had already been waiting since just after 2pm. Shame as it really does let them down.

The room was tidy but around some corners needed attention with dirt. I've stayed at another premier Inn before and the bed there was lovely and soft but the one I slept on here felt hard and uncomfortable that I woke up many times to turn. Besides that the staff were friendly and dealt with a request I had quickly. Breakfast was nice with a good choice. However overall for the £300 (+£40 for breakfast for 2) for just 2 nights I would look elsewhere as it wasn't cheap enough to not complain.

Most things are good, friendly staff, location for business good, clean comfortable rooms, however food is not so good, breakfast - hash browns tasted off, no fried eggs, scrambled bland no flavour, evening meal chips were dry, steak perfect, mushroom burnt, peppercorn sauce had been over heated and curdled, on 2nd visit a week later must have been a different chef as seemed all seemed OK however with them changing menus some items was not available.

Lovely hotel. Warm welcome despite all the Covid problems going on. One of the rooms had flooded and blown most of the lights in the foyer but staff remained upbeat and carried on smiling. One thing let it down this time and that was our neighbouring guests! Never ever had a problem before, presumably the beds are on opposite sides of the rooms but we were last room on a row and there was a set back room. Not funny when the wall is literally bouncing and rocking our bed!

It’s not on Elland road it’s the other side of the motorway, nearer Gelderd road, doesn’t have a pub or restaurant nearby except their own, thin walls and ceilings making the noise travel from flat footed people and kids upstairs. The staff really friendly and welcoming and they work hard, but it’s unlikely we’ll stay here again better spending a couple of pounds more and staying at east Leeds, Halton or one of the other premier inns nearby. This one is tired. If the staff hadn’t been so good it wouldn’t have made a recommendation at all.

  • D S

When I stayed here it was my 4th night in a row at a different premier inn and the third time I chose to have the steak as part of the meal deal included with my business account stay. The food here was by far the best, the steak was one of the best I’ve had. Very nice cosy restaurant and bar with friendly staff. Hotel is like any other premier inn, very nice spacious clean rooms. Very easy to have a good sleep and relax. Good access into Leeds centre with just a 10/15 min drive into the centre, even at rush hour times! Enjoyed my stay.

Rooms way to hot. The coldest setting for the terrible aircon doesn't change the temp of the room in the slightest... You can just about feel it if you hold your finger in the vent of the unit. Have had this problem often here... As many others have. I slept in my car because it was unbearable... Waste of money, awful sleep and have to move across the country today woooo On the flip side, breakfast was decent and the guys working there were pleasant and considerate. Can't fault this aspect of the hotel. Just sort the aircon out...

  • Rivvum Events

The staff were excellent. Very friendly and welcoming. My room was spotless and well equipped for the price. Beds were very comfortable. The onsite restaurant was used for an evening meal and breakfast with food cooked to an exceptional standard. Steak cooked perfect. Plenty of choice for breakfast and very good quality. All in all a very pleasant experience. If all premier inn's functioned to this standard they would be a hell of a lot busier!!

Room seemed very nice and clean with a comfy bed although my family that were staying in the room were a bit disappointed that it did not have the settee that they had in the rooms previously. We wanted to have lunch at the restaurant but they did not serve lunch which was a shame. Dinner was nice although they got one order wrong but fixed it straight away so we got free chips as well as what we wanted. They had run out of meringues for the pudding and another thing which was also a bit of a shame.

Location for me was ideal as close to work. Rooms are as per usual standard and you know what to expect and it did not disapoint. Staff were friendly and always rushed of their feet, shame. Food was lovely and well presented. Very well done to the staff shame that there was limited tv channels and not able to retune the TV. As my favourite TV channel was not on freeview in this hotel.

The great thing about this place is the staff. They are brilliant. Happy, friendly and totally customer focused. Room would be better if it had at least one armchair to sit on, preferably two. Nice sized room, clean, comfortable but no frills. The soap comes from a dispenser and just two coffee sachets available as a single occupant which wouldn't be replenished as rooms are not cleaned unless asked for which I totally agree with but means you have to ask for more coffee. No phone to ring reception which is a bit tedious. Breakfast though ample was somewhat bland. However staff very friendly and welcoming.

Perfectly acceptable Premier Inn, 10 minute and £2 bus ride from the station, room was clean, air conditioning worked, staff were friendly and my gammon, egg and chips well cooked and vfm. No where to walk out to as it’s in the middle of a business park next to the motorway, although noise was well suppressed. 10-15 minute walk from Elland Road stadium but turn left at end of road with Porsche dealership as hotel can send you the long way.

We know what to expect at Premier Inn. Good room, great sleep and great breakfast. All at good value. What always amazes me is how they provide a consistently pleasant and genuinely friendly staff. This was no exception. James, who welcomed me after midnight through to the lady serving breakfast and the manager, who was going the extra mile to help the visitors on the next table. This was great Premier Inn service.

Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, amazing water pressure and heat. But absolutely lacking with the continental and hot breakfast. Hot foods were cold and seemed old. Continental was stale. The stay at Premier Inn Leeds City was excellent. Me and my work colleague booked a room here and accidentally booked the double bed. We mentioned this to the lady at reception and she sorted it right away with no extra charge. The room was clean, tidy, and the bathroom was like brand new. This premier inn hotel is located in a quiet location just off the Motorway. The hotel staff are very friendly welcoming and attentive but do not eat in the restaurant. Parking is available on site. It is a shame about the restaurant but this is the only thing that holds me back from giving a 5 star review. The rooms are great and the cleaning is excellent.

The rooms are a bit smaller than your average Premier that said, clean and comfortable. The only issue was the pillows were too high causing neck ache. Remind me of low cost airlines as we arrive at 2:30pm and we've been asked for 10£ for early check-in stayed in probably 500 hotels in my life and never seen this before greedy & Hungry , would rather pay 100£ more for a normal hotel then this greedy place. Save your money, go somewhere else !

Great hotel, quality as expected from a premier inn. Nice room with modern features including HDMI input to the television, plenty of mains sockets everywhere. The rooms were comfortable and the restaurant breakfast was excellent. There were several loud groups of drunk people hanging around the bar which made check-in uncomfortable. They could hear which room I was given- I wouldn't want to be a woman checking in on my own.

I use this premier inn when visiting headingley for cricket internationals. It's close enough for an Uber at £7 but far enough away to be cheaper than the closer hotels

Great hotel, friendly helpful staff. The hotel is well maintained apart from the canopy which needs a lot of work and is the first thing you see.

The usual premier Inn. Very clean and the rooms were plenty big enough. The bathroom was averagely clean and the room had air conditioning which is great. My main issue was that they only give you two tea bags per double room. Yes you could go and get more but I think they should allow at least 4 in a double.

  • Elaine Maunsell

Staff where great. We arrived late, but the kitchen stayed open late to feed a family of 6. The food was delicious and would definitely recommend. The beds are very comfy. The facilities available where spot on . Would definitely recommend a stay here. Had a lovely relaxing time with them …

  • James Beston

A reasonable hotel though the key cutting software was on the fritz when I checked in and, for whatever reason, they had only one member of staff checking people in, so queues were long. Room was lovely and quiet. No chaise though, just a chair. Couldn't comment on food as I didn't use the restaurant.

staff were the most friendly I have ever come across. nothing was to much trouble. a welcoming smile and a chat is second to none when you stay here. deffinatfly recommend a stay here and with the city centre only a ten mins taxi ride it's perfect for a short stay or long stay 5 star rating from me

  • greta powell

Comfortable room, easy to park and lovely staff. This would have been 5 stars except for the evening meal which seemed to be the bottom of the pile food. Steak was full of fat and gristle, pretty inedible and the chips, obviously last few in the bag. Such a shame because everything else was great

  • Martin Gammon

Overall, a good premier Inn. It is situated on a commercial estate so not ideal for leisure. It's also not attached to a pub and so has its own bar and dining room. The most disappointing aspect was the selection for the continental breakfast.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Excellent hotel. Clean and fresh. Staff were just wonderful. Nothing was any trouble. We didn't eat here but the food looked & smelled delicious. Bar prices very reasonable. Slightly a bit out of town but a short taxi ride sorted that. Would recommend and stay again.

Centrally placed location, all you can eat breakfast o.k but not not actually all you can eat as its not self service. Our room was clean and given the hotels location quiet. When I took a shower I discovered that the shower head had a serious and potentially dangerous water leak.

Nice low budget hotel. Well away from the town centre on a business park so nice and peaceful. Plenty of free parking on site. Restaurant and bar are decent and staff are polite. Well equipped rooms with large TV, hairdryer and bath. Looked more expensive that it was, so all good.

  • Nathan Gilmour

I so give this Premier inn full stars!! The staff here at absolutely fantastic!! They gave me more coffee and tea which I know is normal but these people are wonderful... my time in Leeds has been fantastic with their acknowledgement here where to go what to do...

  • Emily Bennett

Excellent sized rooms with clean ensuite. Hairdryer provided which was an excellent bonus you don't always get at other hotels. Large comfy bed, extra pillows and clean large towels. Convenient location and excellent car park facilities. Would highly recommend.

It was everything I would expect from a Premier Inn. Functional and efficient. Vry handy for Motorway and Leeds centre

Very comfortable room although the hot water takes quite a while before eventually coming through. On first day of arriving, boxing day, there was no food available until 6pm, found this disappointing. Hotel is well situated for business in the West of Leeds.

  • leon chrapko

Rooms clean and tidy and the staff are polite and helpful. The restaurant is probably too small to cope when busy at weekends or match days. The food served is of a good standard. And it is only a 15 min walk from Elland Road, visible from some of the rooms.

Room was clean, beds comfy, overall decent hotel stay. I had food one night from the hotel restaurant and it was served relatively quick and tasted good.
