I am the client that booked a builder nail appointment with your nail salon (with Leanne) in May this year. I’m here to say the builder nail service was poor and atrocious and I am very disappointed. When I sat down with Leanne, she felt very anxious about doing my nails, as I told her that previously my nails were done by a professional technician. I am here to say my previously done BUILDER GEL NAILS (not fake nails) were soaked in acetone for a long time- acetone is EXTREMELY bad for your natural nails and after this treatment my nails were very thin, fragile and unhealthy. Consequently , about a week after the treatment one of my nails fell off completely (which should not happen), then the rest of my nails followed, this highlights the unbelievable negligence and sloppiness of this service. IT TOOK ME till about just now to fully restore my nails and have multiple treatment done to do so (including having to file of all the builder gel off my nails MYSELF, the builder gel itself stank when I filed it off, then after filing I found my nails were so thin, cracked and damaged that I had to go for a professional for help). The price I was charged for this service was ridiculous and absolutely not worth it - $76 dollars to be exact (Sergei previously left a review about this service & it's price and the owner of pretty intense said that "even the cost is wrong"- if the price was wrong, then I demand a refund of $76 for the poor service that I received at this salon. This price did not include a manicure at all (which I was shocked about) - my nails where very flat, filed very thin after the acetone, not shaped and my cuticles were not removed or cut. I was very upset and unhappy with this service at your salon. My nail’s health was put at great risk and I hope this crucial issue is fixed for future clients.

I also have been a regular here for well over a year - the girls here are lovely , attention to detail and quality the best I have ever experienced - with regard to comments above - the salon is so heavily booked and runs on time like clockwork - there is and has been for months a very clear sign on the counter that you couldn't miss - advising of the late cancellation fee policy and explaining why - giving 24 hrs notice allows the salon to gIve the appointment to someone else who may be on the waiting list - myself , I appreciate the fact that they always try really hard in a nail emergency to fit you in , but will never hold you up or make you wait for your own appointment ...by a client cancelling at the last minute they are unable to fill the space or help anyone else out , and given that most appointments for nails run at least an hour, entirely reasonable to charge a fee - shows that they also value the professionalism of their salon and their service to their clients .

My girlfriend went to this salon 2 weeks ago to get Gel Builder Nails. They rushed the whole process: filed her nails too thin, overused the acetone, left uneven edges, didn't change length or do a manicure when requested, and couldn't even apply the gel properly. Just yesterday one of her nails completely snapped off after she was opening her wallet. This has never happened to her at any of the other salons before and is a testimony to how unhealthy they left her nails. ALSO THE NAILS WERE 70 DOLLARS. Don't go to this place if you value your money, and more importantly your nail health. Absolutely disappointed and disgusted.

Second time returning since we moved back to Melbourne and will absolutely keep coming back. Brooke does a brilliant brow wax and tint, but it was the care I received today that was so lovely and so very much appreciated from this very tired mum. I was running a little bit late this morning - toddler and a baby at home, things can hold you up! I also unexpectedly needed to bring my little bub with me which I was feeling stressed about. Brooke was so understanding and kind, she allowed me to nurse my little one while she worked away on my brows so everyone was calm and content. Highly recommend Pretty Intense.

I've been a regular customer for a year and half now and for first time I had to cancel my appointment last minute before it happened. For that I had to pay a cancelation fee of half the amount of the price I'm paying on my regular visits which is extremely high for a service that lasts an hour on average and I was never told verbally or written that there is such a fee. Very bad way to treat a customer that has spent more than a thousand dollars without even providing a single discount all that time. Insanely mistreated.

Lovely local salon with very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. They're all happy to take on feedback and deliver the results you hope for. Products used are of excellent quality. Salon is always clean and adheres to covid-safe guidelines. Ample parking in side streets if you can't find a spot out the front. Looking for a new beauty service provider after all the lockdowns was a little daunting and I was very relieved to have found Pretty Intense.

Absolutely love this place! Caitlin and her team are very professional and offer the best in nails and all beauty treatments. Caitlin is a fantastic nail artist who is very thorough and is always friendly and accomodating. Best beauty salon in Rosanna! I’ve been coming to have my nails done at Pretty Intense since it opened. Caitlin and Clare have always done my nails immaculately. The quality of the gel polish and its durability is fantastic. The salon is clean, bright and the music soothing. The herbal tea is beautiful. I wouldn’t go anywhere else

Today was the not only the first time I’ve been to Pretty Intense Beauty but it’s the first time in years I’ve had a facial.
