This park has been improved recently with the addition of a boardwalk. The kids playground is good and there is a small beached area by the river which has been recently improved. Launch a kayak into the river, play at the park with the kids or have a kick about on the footie pitch. Beware there are often dogs off leash in this area

A local place that is great for picnic, family gathering, fishing and swimming. This is one of the hidden gems that is close to Sydney! Highly recommended. Cross the small bridge and turn left, there is a small path that offers some bushwalk, difficulty level will be Medium/Hard but should be ok for some family with kids.

You can walk along the tracks in this park starting from Sutherland and walk down to Woronora, a beautiful bushwalk from Sutherland down to river. Once at the river there is a small beach where people tend to let their dogs run off leash and a new board walk that takes you to the bridge to cross the river.

Absolutely gorgeous place. It's a hidden gem in the Shire. On a nice calm sunny day, the views are unbelievably amazing! A nice spot for picnics or kids to play around. You can also hire a kayak from a local Cafe and explore the river's beauty.

This park has more more features going for it apart from the usual playground. Launch your kayak/boat, paddle, swim, picnic, walk on the metal boardwalk further up to a large created sandy beach. Cross the narrow bridge over the other side.

Lots of choice of activities for all the family. Beautiful location, peaceful right by the river. A children's playground for the younger ones, large grassed area and cricket pitches for ball games. Boat launching area, canoe hire nearby,

Absolutely OUTSTANDING park and spot. It has everything you need and is just a gorgeous space; big carpark, excellent kids play land, huge green park all along the water front, with a walking bridge that goes over the water, large

So many childhood memories here. Great place for birthdays but most importantly fishing and bird watching. If you love nature this is the park for you. I caught a huge dusky flathead here!
