Thought I would share my experience as something like this would've helped me out in my hunt for a good facialist in Brisbane. I went in mainly for some blackhead extractions. Went in a few times and researched what I wanted and on the day, ended up being persuaded into a microdermabrasion (which I wasn't too keen on to begin with) as they had a deal going. I trusted the lady and agreed. She sounded like she knew what she was doing. Anyway my experience was that it was basically the most painful extractions I've ever had. There are still quite a few blackheads on my nose, even with Microderm. Also, I felt like the therapist didn't really listen to my concerns about being new to Microderm, evident by the fact that she cranked it up to 40 instead of the usual 30 that they begin with, which ended up making my skin feel quite sore by the end of it. Bottom line is that I left quite sore, not very relaxed and quite a significant amount of dollars short. Perhaps another therapist there would been better? I guess the main thing I learnt from this experience and would suggest that everyone does before going anywhere, is to run through with the therapist exactly (even the small details, like how strong a product will be) what you want to address and how they're going to do it, before you begin treatment. Ensure you're on the same page. If I had done that I think it would've resulted in a much better outcome.

Since 2019 I have been delighted and impressed to the degree that i introduced P.D. to my daughters as well as recommending P.D. gift vouchers as Xmas presents. January 2020 I had a superb relaxing treatment. BUT TODAY .........WAS VERY DIFFERENT .................................. As they are sufficiently booked that they can NO longer provide the ambience and service of the past. Today was rushed to the degree that my treatment was cut to half the time. The beautician did not change the microdermabrasion brush to the smaller size when applicable nor change the pressure to more gentle round the eyes and cheek bones. She pulled down upon my facial skin, instead of up and across. Massage wise; I far prefer a shoulder, foot or arm massage then a dry hair scalp massage were I felt that my hair was being pulled out. They finally charged me for an half hour facial. However the whole experience disappointing to say the least.

I had a voucher for Pure Indulgence, so I decided to book in for a Microdermabrasion and was taken care of by the lovely Alannah. From the moment she came out and greeted me I felt so taken care of! I have been to a few Beauty Salons over the years, but this was the first time I’ve ever gone for a skin treatment, and had a clinician have a good look at my skin, and explained to me my skin type, where I’m going wrong in my current routine and the type of products that I would respond to best. I truly did not feel like I was being upsold. The level of care and knowledge Alannah presented felt absolutely lovely, not to mention my session was so relaxing and my skin looked amazing afterwards. A few days after using my new skin care products and honestly I see such a difference. She knows exactly what she’s talking about. Do yourself a favour and book in to see Alannah! Xx

I had a gift voucher for $69 for Pure Indulgence at Indooroopilly, as a Christmas gift. I decided to remove the nail polish on my toe nails today, only to find with great dismay that I have developed a fungal infection on each toe nail. I will need to go to the Doctor tomorrow and get some medicine to fix this. I would never go here again. Apparently the tools used were not sterilized, or the practices were not good at all for an Australian company. I have had my nails done in Asia before and never developed nail fungus. I am so very disappointed with Pure Indulgence, I WOULD NEVER GO HERE AGAIN AND ENCOURAGE YOU NOT TO GO ALSO IF YOU DO NOT WANT NAIL FUNGUS ON ALL OF YOUR TOENAILS. SO BAD PRACTICE HERE IN AUSTRALIA.

Yesterday at 11.10am my wife had her pedicure appointment which she looks forward to as I take care of the kids, our kids are on the spectrum and sadly this is her treat when she visits your store either at Indooropilly or Garden City. She speaks highly of this place. She hadn't had a Pedi for 3 months and did tell me it would be shocking. She was 10 minutes late and the consultants were not happy with her, makes sense. She did apologise a few times. After the appointment she wasn't sure if her pedicure was good but she paid $105. My wife is 40% blind, I noticed her nail polish was blotchy and her nails were uneven, and she had cuts? I wouldn't recommend Indoroopilly Pure Indulgence again.

Booked in for a 40min back massage as I've been having issues with subacrominal bursitis in my right shoulder lately. I was looked after by the amazing Lauren. Started off the appointment by being asked the reason I booked, any allergies, medical conditions etc - very thorough consult! The massage itself was amazing. She really worked out all the knots and I feel so much better afterwards and the pain has significantly decreased. Lauren was even able to give me some advice afterwards regarding blood circulation and what I can do to try and ease the pain and stop the knots from forming so much. Absolutely amazing service and I will most definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Good service for many years EXCEPT today. Management don’t seem to trust their staff. Much racing out of room to get products. Are times that tough? My therapist (Farah) is excellent but my experience today wasn’t good. Tried to make me have photos taken of face before treatment (dirty unsanitised fabric box with curtain which I was told to put head in). No way this stacks up to COVID requirements. I said a firm “no”. Also - not sharing my pics. Glad it was the last facial in my package. Suspect it’s another ploy to push product sales. Also didn’t get the microdermabrasion which I’d paid for ... the packages (once paid for) seem to be a moving feast. Disappointing.

I took 3 facial package. Because the first one was absolutely what I wanted, when my therapist tried selling me package of 3 , I was happy to take.Though my second facial had quite a bit missing elements of first one, and 3rd one was absolutely different. I would not say products or therapists are not professional but after my second facial I had a long discussion with manager n she said she has made a note to my records, at 3rd time all services will be provided as listed. Though consistency once u have paid for service is questionable. Also waxing I had such a big blood clot kind of thing in arm. Didn't like this .

I got a tan yesterday which was a last minute thing. The lady who did my tan was lovely, but the tan has turned out very patchy and uneven in spots. The lady did not tan my hands properly and half of my hands are white and the other half is tan. Also the lady used a green base on my skin, considering this is my first time getting a fake spray tan and the lady knew that it was my first time getting a spray tan, I am extremely disappointed.

I went into the salon today for their ritual spa treatment special which is $100 for a massage and facial. I had Ashleigh as the consultant. She was brilliant, she was informative and had an enthusiastic manner. The massage I received was the best one that I've had in a very long time and she made sure that I was comfortable throughout the service. I will definitely make this salon a reg in my routine. Thank you ladies.

Today I had a pedicure by Caris at Indroopilly. From the moment I walked in the ladies made me feel welcomed. Caris was thorough when doing my treatment and such a warm and friendly lady. My daughters also had treatments done by an other lady and I was so pleased with how they were treated and the treatments they received. I would recommend Caris and the beauty salon. Thanks ladies for making our day better

My first and last time!! I booked for eyebrow treatment with Lauren one week ahead. First I had a call that they had to change my appointment time for ten min which was finebut when I got there just realised they had chosen some other staff to do the job without informing me. I insisted to be look after by Lauren but they said she is busy . I found it very unprofessional and disrespectful.

I started using Dermalogica again after many many years. Alex at indooroopilly had been so wonderful every time i come in. Taking the time to make sure I am using the correct product and listens to my needs. Her knowledge of skin care is extensive. Thank you again Alex, what a wonderful asset you are to Pure Indulgence. .

First time getting a facial and microdermabrasion. My consultant Morgan was so lovely! She communicated everything before hand and was so professional and polite! The whole experience was thoroughly relaxing, she was so gentle and took her time. I can’t recommend her enough! Thank you so much, I’ll be back!

The Microdermabrasion that I received today and previous facials from Mihaela was a wonderful, relaxing experience. Mihaela welcomes you with a vibrant and warm personality that makes you feel very comfortable during the time in her room. Looking forward to many more visits with Mihaela.

I have never been to a salon in 30 or so years that say they are unable to make your eyebrows darker when tinted but this girl said she couldn't do it. To be charged $44.00 for an eye brow wax and tint and come out no different is appalling. I definitely won't be back.

I have been a client of Pure Indulgence Indooroopilly for a few years now and they are such a fantastic team. My eyebrows are perfect every time, everyone is so friendly and I keep going back. Maddy is such a great asset to the team and I couldn't rate her any higher.

Farah from Pure Indulgence Indooroopilly is fantastic. I had a 70minute hot stone relaxation massage and it was magical!!! Very much recommend Farah as I had a fantastic experience better then I have had elsewhere. I will definitely be coming back. Thanks again!

I have been going to Lauren there for 5 years now and she is fantastic! I go regularly for waxing and sadly only the occasional facial. She is always friendly & kind & understanding of my unpunctuality! So lucky she has stayed there so long!
