Went to them due to proximity n google reviews. 1st encounter got charged 400+bucks for 1 simple pipe replacement, n it continued to leak. Another plumber came(waited for him 1.5 hours), offered to refund part of the money or refixed the issue ‘for free’. (Why is it free when I’ve paid for the service n they came back to refix things that they havent done properly in the first place) Anyhow the sink continued to leak again.. this time they said to change the tap n wanted to charge 500bucks on top. We didn’t continue with their service but bought a tap n with the help of our electrician got it fixed for free. (This is what I call foc.) I wanted to hv nothing to do with them any further but my partner who’s back from overseas saw this n is adamant about reporting to fair trade. My opinion- maybe my case was to complicated for them. However the first time they came they definitely overcharged, n still wanted more on top to get things properly fixed. That should be done in the very first visit if they have troubleshooted it properly. Anyhow attitude wise they r decent, especially the receptionist has been very helpful.

Called PP for a quote and they managed to pop around the next day on very little notice. The quote was provided quickly and without any "hard sell" tactics trying to get a close before they left; just arrived, checked it out, gave the quote and left. Managed to get the requested service completed the next day even. New hot water installed in around 4ish hours at a cost which was just over half of what a competitor quoted. Would recommend! I am so grateful to Brett and his colleague for rescuing me from a plumbing emergency at short notice (as they have done before). They arrived promptly, immediately worked out what the problem was, and had it all fixed in no time, for a very moderate charge, with a full explanation of exactly what they'd done and why. They cleaned up beautifully afterwards, and were pleasant, professional, and trust-inspiring. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We just moved house and had issues with our washing machine hookup. I called Purple Plumbing on Sunday and Brett booked me in for Monday morning. He arrived on time, was professional and friendly. He assessed the problem and gave me a fair quote. He was able to fix it quickly and we had a nice chat while testing a load in the washer. Prompt service, reasonable rates and a lovely chap. Brett was very thorough and checked our entire sewer liner after clearing it, something every plumber before had failed to do. The result was a section of sewer that Brett relined at a good price. After several visits by various plumbers over the last 8 years to water jet our sewer, it’s finally been fixed properly.

Called Purple plumbing and they were extremely responsive and happy to come for a free quote. This is extremely rare these days given everyone want to charge you to even come take a look. They are also extremely professional at what they do and competitively priced. Will definitely use again.

Hamish is very friendly and attentive and happy to respond to customers' questions. He did a great job in repairing our freshwater pipe a while ago. We have engaged him again for an issue with our wastewater pipe. It's good having Hamish as a trusted plumber.

I required my drain unblocked approx 2mtrs for which I pd $400. But they did not do the job and I was left to pull out 1 metre of roots to unblock the drain.and I had no reply to my email to them I would recommend not using them
