"Trapped 7 cars in Stephens Green last night"
My brand new jeep was broken into in this car park and a number of items stolen. I rang them to see what they could do, I was told to go onto the website and fill out a query's /complaint form. I filled this out on the 7th of July. The evening of the 7th I received another email with a link to another form that had to be filled out, as I was away with no access to emails, I filled out the form on the 21st of July and sent it back. This is only 15 days after the incident occurred. I heard nothing back so sent another email to follow up. Still nothing so I rang on the 1st of August where I spoke to a lady who said the complaint was missed and she would flag it with the team. I received am email on the 2nd of august saying that the complaint form did not upload properly but has now been flagged and will be looked into, they would come back to me within 48 hours. I received a second email on the 2nd stating that they can do nothing for me because they only hold CCTV for 28 days The 2nd of August was the 28th day, I find it convenient that they left it till then to come back to me. I spoke to another lady in the complaints department after receiving this news and I ended the phone call feeling disheartened and like my complaint was neglected and an inconvenience to them I use this car park frequently and I am just appalled by the customer service and lack of help and compassion I received. As a business owner myself I always try my best to ensure my customers leave happy after using my business and will stand over everything we do so to see another business treat their customers like this is shocking, it is not how a business should operate. Will never be using this car park again.
Like most of you on here I have parked at so many car parks dreading the “Amount Due” when you insert that ticket!!!! Playing it cool for the people standing behind you that you don’t mind paying €30+ for that hard days work you’ve just done or that lovely afternoon spent in town…. Yeah right!!!! Until that is, you have had the pleasure of dealing with the friendly, helpful and down to earth customer service of Alex from Q Park Stephen’s Green. I have parked at Stephen’s Green for quite some time now not realising the benefits of the Premier Card that is available until I got completely lost looking for my car , I buzzed the “Help” button to be greeted by the friendliest customer care I have experience in”forever” because as we all know customer care has gone out the window, when customers actually matter? As I stood there, let’s just call the next customer “the German” couldn’t find his car and Alex literally came to the pay point to help “the German” find his car… I couldn’t believe it, I felt so chuffed that the German experienced what it’s like to meet a good old fashioned decent Dublin guy who lived up to every expectation of what an employee should be to represent their employer and that’s exactly what Alex does, he represents Q Park in such a professional, efficient, reliable and goes above and beyond what is probably expected of him whilst putting his own stamp to customer service. He takes pride in his job and it most definitely shows!!! Alex all I can say is … thank you for rescuing me after a long days work and actually making me laugh when I felt I was a crazy person trying to find my car
Like David Below I was also parked here 2 days ago. I had to rush over to Dublin from UK to support fairly urgent surgery so I came on my motorbike as it's easie and faster. f anything was required from other hospitals It faster on two wheels through Dublin traffic and parking is not easy at Dublin hospitals. The bike allows me to rush in and out. Nothing else was required, I booked Into the Marlin Hotel as I could walk to the hospital do what I needed to do. I felt better my motorbike was that bit safer parked at Q park St Stephens Green. Nothing is ever perfect, I've gone as far as you can to make sure it would take a professional motorcycle thief to steal my bike which worked. It isn't q parks fault but Somebody had made a very poor attempt to cut my D lock a few days ago whilst parked at Q park. It looked like the start of a hacksaw cut which was in itself amusing as a hacksaw would never get through that lock. With a battery grinder it's unlikely most thieves will take the time to change the disks required to cut it and have the number of batteries required. You would need to know what lock it is, what is required to cut it and then be highly motivated to that that bike. They failed miserably and failed quickly. It had also been hit with a small blunt tool which would never break that lock. Only cosmetic damage has been left to the lock. I suspect whoever was messing with my bike was disturbed. Just be aware from my experience and reading other reviews one can only conclude this car park is being worked by opportunist thieves.
Would give 0 stars if possible. Absolutely disgraceful staff. Use this carpark at least once a week with my friend when we meet up for lunch and a quick shop around. On this occasion, she misplaced the parking ticket. When asking the staff for assistance with this, she was told she would have to pay €40 to reissue a new card. Now firstly, that is a ridiculous figure totally made up by the woman behind the counter. €40 euro is extortion. I can understand a small fee for the reissuing of a ticket but considering we were there for under 2 hours, including the time looking for the ticket, €40 is an absolute joke. Her male colleague reduced the price to €17.50 which although better than the previous figure is still a ridiculous fee for printing out a piece of paper. My friend had a time stamped message saying "leaving the car park now"... but they had none of it. Reading other reviews of this carpark, it didn't seem to be a hassle to reissue a lost ticket in other people's cases. Customer service here is absolutely attrocious. Typically carparks will issue a ticket completely free if you have proof of time of entry. Will NEVER park here again and will share my experience with all of my friends who use this carpark as much as I previously did. I would appreciate acknowledgement of this complaint asap
Trapped 7 cars in Stephens Green last night. Spent 40 minutes trying to get the gates open at Mercer Street Lower at 9pm last night. Eventually people got out of their card and physically opened the gate. No one from Qpark was working in the office or answered the emergency mobile number (which was sitting on the desk in the office). We rang today to find out how this is even happened and Qpark at landline 014783299 said it was not their problem and someone must have moved the signs redirecting cars to the other exit. The staff member was blatantly rude and obnoxious. Absolutely horrendous customer service for an extortionately priced car park. Wont be using again. AVOID!
You asked me to email you.. I did.. and no reply. Anyway. The reason why I gave the parking lot 1 star was because when I paid for my ticket at 5.50pm it took me exactly 2 hours and 5 minutes to get out of the car park. 2 hours!!!!!!! I called a few times to customer care but it said it was busy every time. I called the centre they said they had nothing to do with the car park. I paid 18 euro to park there for a few hours and never have I seen a parking place like it. Ridiculous! and for 18 euro? crazy... Anyway, I thought since you are wasting my time again with not replying that I would leave a longer review to let people know.
I was told that price for 12 hours was 12 euros and it should be paid in advance At the machine I did not see an option to pay for 12 hours so I called for help and I was told that I only had to pay the 12 euros and it would be it. 11, 5 hours later, I cant get out with my Card. It says I had to pay another 20 euros I called someone to ask for help and I was treated with the ultimost rudeness by the staff. Apart from not caring if I received a misleading information and having to pay the extra, the time I spent enquiring about the charges made de fee raise from 12+20 to 12+32 Absolutelly horrible place.
Hi,im Greg fm Co Laoise & anytime im in t city i park my jeep in q parking S.G . ive been parking for t last few year in q parking Stephen Green.a very secure place to park with great staff always around no matter what time u return. i find it so handy & so close to Grafton st, i use t Q-Park top up card & find it so handy t staff are always so friendly & helpful . Parking host Adriano always so friendly & helpful .thanks Adriano for taking t time thursday evening to help me reload my card. ur a great guy keep up t great work .a super young man is what u are. thanks again. .
Pay €4.10 an hour and get stuck in traffic for hours.... inside the car park. Staff refused to help direct traffic. Edit. It took three hours to get from level 8b to the exit. I could have crossed the country in that time. Second edit, we asked the staff to help inside the building, to help manage getting the upper floors moving, they refused. Do not try to tell me your new planning application to put on two more floors has any mention of reasonable access or egress at peak times. There is no active traffic management in place and the building is a fire risk
Terrible. They announce price reductions in their website and on site, but the machines don't do it automatically, instead it has to be a person. The thing is that you can be waiting literally for hours for someone to go there and nobody is attending the emergency phones or the information buttons. This actually happened to us last night, December 9th 2021. Nobody there and around 20 cars trying to get out and not being possible. It is a scam to announce discounts if you can't apply them. Probably the worst parking service with the greatest location.
Avoid Avoid Avoid Avoid Avoid Avoid Avoid Avoid Great location and that's it, paid in advance online entered 13 minutes earlier departed 20 minutes earlier and got automatically charged €4.10 for 13 minutes of early parking even doe I departed before the expired time, if u pay in advance u must arrive exactly on time or they will rob u and to the minute, also when shopping centre closes good luck finding a pedestrian entrance to get to your car we had to walk with a 4-year-old up via the vehicle access ramp. Avoid Avoid Avoid Avoid Avoid
So confusing to get out of after 8PM!! Took me a good 20 mins.. They lock one of the exits and it’s so hard to find the other one. I pressed the help button on the pay machine and explained to the woman with an English accent that one of the exits was closed and she said “how can it be when it’s a 24HR car park?” So so unhelpful, I was so worried and that answer didn’t help. Also when you eventually find the exit, the lanes switch as if you’re driving in the U.S- watch you don’t crash into oncoming cars..
Really poor customer service. Email them without response for more than a month ago. Impossible to purchase anything online, website doesn't work. After several min on the phone someone pick it up and is unable to help because website is the only way to buy service from Q-park and doesn't work. Poor omni channel approach, training and customer centric view. I am surprised that company is still on businesses!
Always space, great location, prices are on the high side but it is city centre and it is prime location. Easy access to Grafton street, St Stephens Green and the Gaiety theatre. Luas stop and bus stop nearby as well. Slightly narrow entrance and exit but have always used it and will continue to use it. Easy trip also works flawlessly so you never need to take a ticket, it's just drive in and drive out.
Parked our car here for a nearby wedding came back the next day only to find it had been broken into no signs of forced entry they pulled down the back window of the car enough to get somthing in to open up the car they pulled it apart looking for goods but we had left nothing in the car to take it wasent just ours that day our friends were also been broken into.
Items in car were stolen. Reported the incident to the staff. They haven't contacted me about it and I still had to pay full price for overnight parking. If I could give less that one star I would just like my car was less some items when I returned. They now refused to reimburse me for the parking because I didn't print a receipt when I paid for the parking.
We chose to park in this car park during a day trip to Dublin. It was a secure place to keep the car and gave us easy access to the St Stephens Green area and was within easy walking distance of the rest of central Dublin. Pricing was probably higher than you'd pay in smaller towns in Ireland, but hey, it's Dublin, and €3.90 per hour is very reasonable!
I had prebooked here and it still took and hour driving around it to find a space. It’s an absolute shambles if it’s very busy. Would highly recommend parking outside the centre of Dublin and walking in or using buses. This was Dec 17th mid afternoon so Dublin was heaving. The location is really good but it’s an absolute nightmare this time of year.
Paid online before I parked. Quick and easy. Also couldn’t find my car and the nicest, most helpful young man called Dlion went out of his way to help me. His parents should be so proud of him. And his employers(qpark) should give him a raise. You just don’t meet people like him anymore. He walked around with me until I found car. Thanks Dillon
Got almost lost on the way out. Came back to the car park from a different entrance and realized we are on level 5 but car was parked on level 3. Had to walk a bit to find a lift that brought us back down. If booking online is cheaper then I would definitely recommend it. Way paid more than €8 for just over 1 hour of parking, absolute rip off.
Parked here during a visit to Dublin. Left the headlights on during a 36-hr period () and the battery was toast when I returned to pick up the car. Went down to the Q-Park office and asked for help. Steven grabbed a jumpstart kit and got me on my way to the airport really quickly. Huge thanks for the timely on-site support! …
If you are looking to park right at the heart of the Stephen's Green shopping centre this is the place to head to. It charges €3.90 an hour and the cost doesn't take long to mount up. That said, its well run, clean, safe and there's almost always a free space. Would definitely go back if I'm starting my shop in Stephens Green.
Payment accepted. No details forwarded. Had it not been for my own actions we could have been shafted. Live chat agent seemed prepared which inferred this is the rule as opposed to the exception. Either fix it or simplify the system where the receipt reference is your access code. Not that complicated really
Great location right in the centre of town with easy access to Stephen's green centre and grafton street. Check out the access and exit routes before you travel as there are a lot of one way streets and restricted entry streets in the area. Also it is a little pricey but you have to pay for the location.
The only lift that was working rocked so hard that the doors started opening up while it was moving. That instantly turned it from a lift to a toilet for me. I wouldn't mind except for it cost me my first born child just to park there for a few hours (16 quid to be exact). Don't park here, not worth it.
Sat waiting to get out of the car park 1 hr 45 min today from 5pm. Did not move 1 level in the time spent waiting to get out. Had 2 leave the car and get the train home. No staff available to help with traffic control. A lot of young children in the cars very poor service. Will not be using again.
The parking was fine but we only found out, when it came to paying after the theatre, that in order to get the special €12.00 price for evening parking, we needed to pay within 15 mins of arrival. As a result our parking cost €20 which was a very big increase on the expected €12!! …
Grey clouds ⛅ wind in repose freeze air in chest spirits in motionless. I had my DS sumptuous "salad" bar blended with a ton of tuna and a mayonnaise A delightful hungry seagulls and pretty sweethearts French, enthusiasts, warmed my soul with charitable kindness ♥
Really good staff working there. Helpful and fast. Took time to talk me through using and topping up card for car park. Very happy with service. Dan and I didnt catch the other young guys name. But both were very helpful . Car park feels very safe and is right beside the shopping center.
Way too pricey! 20euro for 4 hours. When I went to pay on the ground floor shopping centre my card was unreadable and I could not seem to see a help button. Eventually got sorted but my young children were getting anxious. Would be more inclined to go to Dundrum for future shopping.
Letting in cars when it is clearly full and wasting people's time at Christmas. Re the owner's comment, that's not true, we had just been at the roof level and there were no spaces. There was a long queue of over 20 mins to leave as other drivers also couldn't get a space
My ticket was 'unreadable' and the help desk was less than helpful! The beeping of the help button went through my head for so long I ended going past my hour and had to pay for the extra hour. Really ruined the Christmas spirit after a nice evening of shopping.
The most disorganised inefficiently run car park EVER...parked for 4.5 hrs...2 hours after I paid I was still stuck on the same level as I was parked on...the staff are in capable of directing traffic and so you just sit going nowhere....The absolute worst
Worst car park experience ever - over-priced at €4.10/h rate, no live signs of available parking spots/no marks of spots so good nerves to circle around, no or not enough signs to walk out of there where you want to go. Avoid to stay in a good mood! …
1 downside.. its expensive 16:40 for a couple of hours whilst I watched a panto. OUCH but access was painless, as was the exiting so over all not bad just pricey. Also note that there are more PlayStation on each level so don't queue for the 2 in the lobby
Parking would be much better when parking places wouldn't be so tight. They might be good for smaller cars but these days when cars are bigger and wider, definitely not good. Every time I park there I'm afraid that my car will be damaged on a side.
Parking was fine. The process to exit the hotel with the pass was complicated. We had confusion to get out of the garage (as did the car in front of us) which made us feel better that none of us had any idea how to get out with a Marlin Hotel pass
I recently had some difficulties with a card at St.Stephen's Green car park... Their staff member, Cathal, went above and beyond his remit to help and not just that, he did so in the most upbeat, chatty, friendly manner possible. He seemed
Because of where I live I need a big 4x4 pickup, not ideal for city car parks! Beware. If you have a big car avoid the entrance in the narrow side alley. Very tight. Thr main Street entrance is fine. Good size bays. We booked online and
Couldn't find our car for nearly 2 hours. Q-Park connected( no signage) to Mercers Carpark. Floor numbering different. No help. Charged €12 for the 2 hours and 1 minute from entering with car til paying prior to finding car. Never again
Wouldn’t recommend if coming back to car late at night and alone. Especially if a woman. Anyone can walk in off street via pedestrian entrance. Colleague came back to car and 2 men were in process of breaking into his car.
Appauling service randomly increased rates by 10% with no notice to it's customers and when challenged on this they said they advertised this increase which was completely untrue. No way to treat repeat customers.
Really terrible place. Very hard to drive inside, very hard to park, places are for motorbikes not cars. Also price is just insane - few hours and I paid €20 - this is crazy, for sure never again will go there.
I park here often, there's always space and the location is so handy. Yesterday I lost my ticket and it was sorted out very promptly and efficiently by a very friendly man which I really appreciated!
Just registered for my Pre-paid Top-Up card with Daniel & Eoin in Stephen's Green. Great service from the on-site office & made the whole exercise seamless...... thanks guys. well recommended!!
Went for dinner, parked car. When we returned at 10.00pm we found it very difficult to find entrance. I enquired how I would get to the floor/area where my car was from disinterested
Worst car park garage in dublin! They broke into my car! Hello? A car inside a car park should be secure! Told the guy...didn't care. Never again!!! Wouldn't even refund.
Really handy and central car parking for the city centre. The only downside is the price per hour but it is no more than any other car parking within Dublin City centre
Location is great but pricing is outrageous. Was charged €8.40 for an hour and 12 minutes. It would really make you not want to go into the city with these prices.
Make sure to book before 4pm the day before you're going to get advanced booking on their website. Love how the barrier opens automatically but scanning your reg.
Pre booked online for the 24/10/21. Didn’t get confirmation email until 26/10/21!! Consequently we had to pay twice for the car park. Nothing short of theft
Could spend a day wandering around here. Something for everybody and the architecture is beautiful. Have a look around the 3rd floor if you're an art buff.
Expensive, useful location but not looking to buy a space. Rip off Ireland at our worst - shame as it will deter further nights out in the city …
Had this carpark pre-booked 2.30pm but arrived early at 1.30pm. Still got in. Was charged a few extra euros on the debit card. Which was hassle free.
An expensive maze, requiring a sightseeing tour of Dublin before you finally reach the entrance. But such is the reality of parking in the city.
Convenient for a Saturday when I had mobility issues and could not get the bus but the q code was not very efficient and it caused a delay.
Busy carpark but with lots of spaces. Very handy that you can tap and pay directly at the exit and not have to queue at the pay stations
Beautiful park at the hear of the Dublin city. With so many shopping options, restaurants and pubs around. Just next to the luas stop.
Great location. Hassle free pre-booking very convenient. Rates not excessive for city centre parking. Standard parking bay width.
Use this to park for a gig in the Iveagh Gardens. Pay within 15 minutes of parking and you can stay from 5pm to 3am for jus €12.
4.2 per hour, very sharp turns and after the concert from the 2nd floor stood in line to leave for more than 10 minutes
Ideal 24/7 parking for Grafton street and central Dublin. Off peak evening rate of €12 is reasonable for city centre.
Had to park on 8th level, escalators are too long, high and steep. Exits are not clearly signposted or obvious.
Always use q parks as can book ahead. Number plate recognition makes for easy access and exit.
It's a big, expensive city centre car park. Book & pay online in advance to save time & money.
They advertise a special rate, then when you go to pay, there's no special rate.
Easy enough to get to and always handy for any day trip to Dublin city centre.
Not as tight to park as some car parks around, but on the expensive side.
Expensive and tight but will do if you need to be close to Grafton street
Very very very expensive. €4.20 for eleven minutes parking. Never again
Dan was great help today in Stephen's green car park. Absolute gent!
Great selection of shops under one roof. Easy access from car park.
Didn't actually use it as it was so expensive. Got taxi instead
Great location with many car park spaces and electric charges.
A real maze of a car park. A few more signs wouldn't hurt
Best parking in city centre. Good car wash as well.
It's a car park but handy for the shopping centre.
Very central and relatively easy to get to.
Booked on line very easy to patk delighted
