I honestly regret having ever hired QPaint. Perhaps I was naive, but I thought when one hired a professional painter the work would be completed to the highest level; no drip marks, fittings replaced as they were found, furniture left undamaged, etc. Well, not in my case! James (lovely chap), who I believe has since left/sold the business, initially prepared my quote. James was professional and thorough - he left no stone unturned. I was so impressed with him; I booked QPaint to complete my painting job. My confidence in this company soon diminished, when on the second day I discovered the painters had painted my entire unit in bog standard white EXTERIOR builders paint, not Dulux Lexicon Quater as requested. Not only that, they had decided without my consent to paint the trims with Taubmans paint, which they had colour matched. Upon discovering this, I confronted the painter, who blatantly lied to my face. The painter, with a smirk on his face, told me "they had accidentally brought the wrong bucket of paint up to the unit, and the correct bucket was actually in the car). In addition to this, the painters cracked my glass coffee table, scratched my brand new matte black door handles, left paint marks on glass windows/black window frames and other matte black fittings. They also incorrectly installed the door handles they had removed and painted around a picture I had accidentally left hanging on the wall. To-date, I still have one bathroom door frame, which is only partially painted. Although the new manager is lovely and has dealt with my complaints well (reimbursed some money to cover the damaged coffee table and the cost reinstall my door handles), I still regret having chosen this company - my property has been disrespected, the wrong paint has been applied to my walls, some things have been left unfished and I am left with a sub-par result. I feel if you pay thousands of dollars for "professional" painting, you should be left with a quality finish. As a non-painter, I feel I could have achieved the same result without the damage to my property. Save yourself a headache and shop elsewhere. **In addition to this, QPaint offered to to wipe my final invoice, if I removed my review from Facebook (posted on the 18 October). Obviously, I declined.

We highly recommend Qpaint after they recently repainted our 100 year old three level Queenslander. We obtained multiple quotes prior and are confident we made the right decision. They had a very planned approach as the access to the site was difficult and they tried to minimise disruption to our family life and even befriended our very protective dog! From first contact with Tom and Tas and subsequent dealings with Vas, we felt we were in good hands all the way. Ben did a good job of initially washing the house down and the team of Perry, Connor ,Ebi and later also Johnny were always courteous, cleaned up any mess, had great attention to detail and we felt they went "above and beyond". Extra work needed to be done as some of the wood in the deck, windows and doors were found to be rotten and they supplied an excellent carpenter Alex who completed all the remedial work to a very high standard. The initial contract was only for external painting but we were happy with the price and quality, so they returned to paint all the internal doors and trims and also our entrance pathway. We are delighted with the final results and look forward to the paint job lasting us many years. Additional review 1/11/22. As owners of a unit painted by this company we have been disappointed that large areas of our unit's balconies and roof top were simply left unpainted. Q Paint were a no show to discuss. We are still waiting for our unit to be painted months later. Our block was challenging and to their credit superficially the rest of it looks quite good. There have been the usual issues such as painting prior to rain and missing bits here and there. Some unit owners have felt the finish was problematic in places. But our unit was at the back and was simply not painted. The excuse, same colour as the chosen scheme so not necessary to do.

Q paint has been amazing to deal with. So professional and so organised from the initial quote to the completion. I had the Desiderata on my wall in the bathroom that Linda recommended to paint over, and I gently peeled the stickers off the wall to reveal the words. It looks so beautiful. I can't say enough good things about Vas and the guys from QPaint. They recently painted our entire apartment complex from top to bottom, roof, doors, garages you name it. This was a 20 year old complex in need of a lot of love and its now looks brand new. Steve and his team of painters were absolutely amazing and quickly became part of the family around the complex which really was a giant peace of mind for all the tenants.

We were very happy with the job done by Tony and his team in July this year. Tony certainly knows his stuff and his attention to detail and experience was greatly appreciated. The rest of the team were very friendly and worked well together making the whole experience pretty painless for us! I would have no hesitation in recommending QPaint to any of my friends or family. It feels like the team I had painted the exterior of my house for the quality of the result, not to make a quick buck. They were client focused, hard working, professional and helpful. Such a rip off. They had this fancy software for payment which charged me nearly 400 $ extra than what they quoted for. Nobody informed about the extra charges. I wouldn't recommend these guys. As a normal person, I would feel better if the fine print is informed.

John and Jarrod recently completed painting the ceilings throughout my house. The guys were polite, left the site clean and tidy and did a great job. The communication from their office was also top notch from start to finish. Highly recommend.
