A fabulous service and experience; staff stuck rigidly to the Corona 19 restrictions by wearing masks and ensuring patrons used the anti-bacterial hand wash on entry. I was collecting a particular book that had been reserved months before, and naturally was unable to retrieve due to Corona, and it was all ready and on the collections shelf for me. I had been sent an email advising me it was available and decided to read it anyway as part of my Masters in Positive Psychology and Coaching. While I was there, I also picked up 2 other books and sought the help of the librarian regarding any books with positive psychology in the title. She was so helpful and found a book for me that has been ultra useful and interesting for my research. Although the atmosphere was more reserved than usual, the staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful in the circumstances. I totally love this library!

This is the best library in Dublin for a couple of reasons. There are never a shortage of books you need, the staff are very accessible, the study area is vast and there is no shortage of plug sockets as there is in EVERY other library in Dublin, none of the tables are wonky, and there are always parking spots. Usually I get there before 10 to ensure I get a good seat with plenty of sockets. They have the occasional group meeting but there are always signs up giving plenty of notice.

This library has great facilities, however people are too loud, particularly today at 18:30 there was a bunch of people reading out a story so loud in the studying area, laughing, talking, being so loud in general. There’s an specific area around the corner where there can do this, but they decided to do it at the time where there was so many students using the individual tables and the staff did not do anything. There is a time and a place guys.

Enabled with free Wi-Fi & free internet enabled computers. Exclusive Kids playing & book section. All of this for free when you register with them. I have used this library for study for school, college and helping myself out with work. All I can say is that the staff are excellent and some of the most helpful I've met. Anything I need, they have or they'll get for me. Great facilities. Great staff. Great library.

Good local library. Has quite a lot of books for its size. Always near silence condition. Has few computers to use. Dublin Library membership can be done here it. Very well located with over 5 different bus routes nearby as well as a train station.

Staff are brilliant. A lovely woman helped me sort out my library card registration this evening. She was kind and super helpful. The library itself is lovely and calm and there’s plenty of seats/ tables to work at. I always feel at ease here.

This is a lovely clean environment. Free Wifi and plenty of seats to relax. The librarians are friendly and easy to get around. It's that good, I will spend most of my time in here for the sake to relax and read here.

It's It's nice clean library with computers, laptops and tablets. Unfortunately the laptops and tablets are out of use and the children's section is lacking books that a 1½ to 2½ year old can interact with.

A bit of a mixed bag. Some of the staff are lovely and some give the impression they wished you hadn't ever walked in. The library service overall is terrific and I would highly recommend joining.

  • Ann OBrien

This library is not worth even one star. The staff are un-co-operative the service is dire the computers need to be replaced, they are ancient and most do not work. The car Park is tiny.

Could do with a proper labelling system, ie sports, thrillers, fiction, true crime etc.. Donaghmede have this and it's easy to get what you want to read without searching by Name

It's a library, but you would think it was a school from the number of students that go to study there.
