Having been to this Red Rooster several times in the past months, I can say my experiences have always been excellent. I generally order fried chicken, as it's just so tasty. The service has been friendly, the store has been reasonably clean and the food has always been fresh and tasty. The portion sizes have always been generous and never a half empty chips or chicken pieces so small they look like they're from a pigeon (which seems to happen often at the competitor's). We have been ordering from this store and the fried chicken is usually great. That’s why we stop visiting kfc and start ordering from RR. But this time, we ordered online delivery instead of takeaway. The fried chicken is super salty and dry, unlike what they usually serve. They are probably leftover chicken. We will still visit RR, but won’t visit them in the day. Would appreciate it if you can control the quality (be consistent), this experience can turn a new customer away. Update: I visited again today at night, fried chicken is still dry but not salty. And they gave me freebies, which I am very satisfied.

If you want freshly cooked chips, don’t go to Airport West Red Rooster. The franchisee, Adam, has no regard for his customers. I went through drive through and asked for 2 boxes of freshly cooked family chips, waited for 4 minutes to have them brought to me. Thinking all was fine, I drove 4 minutes to home to open up the chips and find soggy, absolutely not fresh chips. Called asking to speak to manager and Adam told me that he cooked the chips himself, and could not care less that I was unsatisfied. I will never go here again. If you want decent service and quality I suggest going to Strathmore Red Rooster.

I visited this store on the 03/02/2022 and ordered a flayva wrap from the drive through got about 2 bites into it and discovered the chicken was still raw and not cooked properly. I went onto the red rooster website and logged a complaint on the 3rd or 4th of feb today is the 16/2 I still haven’t heard anything back from them at least a refund and or an apology. At the least.I have been sick from it. Unfortunately I could now probably never order chicken again from a restaurant it has totally put me off. A similar thing happened to a family member of mine and they have had long term Health problems from it.

The male manager on today is probably the most difficult person I've ever spoken to. The ubereats app was malfunctioning and couldnt change chips to a large. I rang to problem solve, proposing ill just pay more for something like sauce and just to not include it in the bag. He said he cant because stocktake would notice the extra chips of a large compared to a small.... and there is literally no possibility he can think of at all to get us to a large chips. Level of problem-solving skills low

Chips were okay, but the burger was dry and limp with unmelted burger cheese, very poor effort especially for $16. No fried chicken avaulable so was offered a tiny fillet (after paying). All in all very dissapointing. Service was efficient but not very welcoming. Will stick to KFC.

I asked for 2 sub lunches with drinks and then an extra herb mayo sub and a regular chips. The 2 sub lunches were good BUT the not only forgot the chips, they have me a PLAIN PIECE OF BREAD instead of the sub. Literally just a plain roll. I was looking forward to trying the sub but I guess I won't this time.

13/08/2020 Just went through the drive through at Red Rooster in Airport West and one on the male's preparing the food was also taking orders with his mask around his neck. When I asked him to put his mask back on he argued with me saying he wasn't sick and didn't have to wear his mask?? not good enough!!

Very slow service here was only 1 staff member out front and doing drive through. She was friendly but so slow.

Had a great conversation with the staffer who initially asked if I was heading to the airport, and was just friendly and happy overall. The food was delicious with a nice hearty serving of gravy with chips, and was pretty much a great sendoff from the lovely city of Melbourne.

Great customer service, food was freshly cooked but wayy too salty! I ordered the Big Red Chicken Feast, with extra Red Hot Chicken on the side. Every piece of chicken was so salty (more a comment on the recipe than the location, Red Rooster Sunshine was also just as salty).

A typical Red Rooster franchise but with very happy serving staff. RR has a great loyalty program well worth joining as by doing so you get a $5 credit to spend. I review far too many RR outlets which goes to show I love their offerings. They are my "go to" fast food fix.

Well, not fast food. If you use the drive through you will get served really promptly, but if you walk in there is nothing to prompt the staff to even recognize you are there. 5 mins standing at the counter, and a cute apology. But the chips are fresh …

All great and just wanted to add what a lovely, enthusiastic and professional woman serving there today. Smiled and actually handed my things and said have a great day. Unlike other places where they shout a number dump the bag on the counter and turn around.

Only gave 1 star as have to give a star rating which should be 0 went through drive through no one took my my order. But I could hear the whole conversation that was going on feel sorry for the guy who had just rang in sick as they were

Visited on a Sunday night and it was empty. The service was quick. Food was fresh. However the entire floor was freshly mopped (wet) and it was quite far from closing time. More

Food was good, my only complaint was that some of the meal specials banners in the drive through weren't visible until you had already ordered and got to the pick up window.

Frd Chicken not dry compare to other branches. Staff are nice. Place need to refresh though.
