To the lady that tried to argue with us as customers over not being served fresh chips and which I kindly asked for fresh chips that were first given to me 3/4 full go get a life! You do not treat customers unfairly if they are right. Never have we been approached by a worker telling us the chips were fresh and that you had packed them yourself, and half the box had been eaten by us, so therefore you did not want to replace them at all. The chips you so call prepared for us were cold and crusty. So just to let you know fresh chips are hot and crispy. Your attitude got a big knock back from us, I feel sorry for those that must put up with your awfulness. This job is not for someone like you, give it to someone who deserves it.

I don't think I'd had Red Rooster in about 10 years or even stepped foot inside one ever but decided to on a whim recently as YOMG was busy and I honestly came out pretty impressed. The inside was nice and modern, staff were nice and the food was pretty decent didn't take long. It seems like they're trying to compete with KFC with how they're doing the crispy chicken and I would say they're actually outdoing them in that regard lol. Chicken was fresh, crispy and not covered in 2 litres of oil. Only thing that irked me was the cost of a small meal being like $16.

Well situated in town on the highway and there is another Red Rooster on the other side of town about 5 mins down the road. I was driving to Walhalla so this was a good pit stop to get some chips and a drink. The chips were nice and hot and thick and the perfect amount of chicken-flavoured salt. Definitely far better than Maccas chips that's for sure.

Very disappointed in this store. I order a gravy to he given a cold tub with big clumps of powder on top and in the gravy. I returned it and asked for a new one. 2 mins later I was told sorry we have none left and walked off. No refund, no offering of anything. Extremely upset with this store. It used to be great. Not anymore. Not to mention the food was just chucked together and disgusting.

back in the day when i worked there there was a cin zah who cooked some things which was tastry but then again itt was kinda bad so watch out here i come and then the thing is that if u go there now it could be better but i couldnt confirm since last time i did there was a chicken running around in the back of the resturant which i was forced to eat for 8 pebbles and a button but then again it mightve changed so make sure u not be to hungry

Just went down for a classic half, asked if it came with medium or large chips, told large, staff added on a drink which I didn’t order, refunded okay, got home, and only chicken in box… Usually you wait 20 minutes or longer to get served due to lack of staff… sorry Red Rooster, love your takeaway but service sucks and it pains me to say that I won’t be coming back… (customer all up for maybe 30+ years)

Never really go to Red Rooster but tried & ordered their 2 pc Fried Chicken feed for $10.95 as takeaway. Truly, with 2 small pcs of chicken, a regular pack of fries (negligible value actually) and 1 can of Coke, it's not worth the value for money! Better buy 1 whole chicken from somewhere. Didn't give receipt, too (no need to ask really). Not impressed!

No salt on my chips which was a disappointment. But the biggest was when I received my rooster roll. I was expecting that red rooster roll taste. They used to put stuffing in it with the herbed Mayo sauce. But instead I received a ripper hot rooster roll with hot Mayo. I now have a blister on my lip and in my mouth. Please have your employees check temperatures!!!.

This is the only shop that you can't request for parts you prefer. Never had issues with other shops. Sadlu this is the closest to my house.To think I also have to wait for long time to get my order. The chicken was also not good at all compare to other shops.

Always understaffed during lunch rush. Have seen a well done steak come out of a packed restaurant faster than it is to simply order in store. fast food?? Might want to try and lift your game so it's actually possible to order and eat within a 30 minute lunch break at work.

Ordered delivery at 12:15pm and at 1:55pm still hadn't received it, called up the store 3 times (store didn't answer first two times) just to have a short, rude conversation with a woman who claimed that no order had been put through despite the money coming out of my account. Really pathetic management..

Bought a whole roast chicken but unfortunately I was given a roast quail it was so tiny, drumsticks the size of my thumb and paid $14.95 for it, think I'm back to Woolworths chicken's.

Drive through which took over 10minutes wait. Got the roll. On the add it shows a full burger with lots of lettuce. There is no quality control, I didn't see any lettuce but a few flakes. See attached photo!

The Red Rooster roll had hardly any flavour in it. Where was the mayonnaise? It must have had a single dollop of mayo in it and just tasted like a plain hot chicken roll, but it wasn't very hot and the roll was all soggy. At least the chips were better.

Very wonderful manu place. Very lovely tasting chicken and helpful employee. Would reccommend absolutely. Second best red rooster after shepparton red rooster

Abosulty terrible first they forget my son's meal so rang to have it delivered found it unfair I would have to drive back let my food go cold but they never answered their phones so I drove down there to get it was given but once home

Love their buttermilk chicken wings and the gravy as well! Clean place and staff were nice but sometimes, the service at the drive thru was a bit slow.
