I had purchased a pair of black slip-on cowboy style biker boots. It is a style that I have come to like over the years, but it is a difficult one to find. Especially, saying as how I am a gigantic dude. I am just under 7 feet tall, and I am just under 300 pounds. I am not a heavyset guy, but I am a gigantic Mountain Man. My shoe size is a size 13, or a 14 extra wide. I have a high arc across the top of my foot more so than I do along the bottom. My foot is a difficult foot to fit a pair of boots on. Red Wing Shoe store has an awesome selection. I bought these boots a very long time ago, and they are still with me today. I get compliments on them all the time, and it is an old style of boots that is no longer made anymore. The problem that I had was, I am a blind individual. I had requested help from the representative on the floor that day. They were a little busy, but not slammed. I was more than glad to sit patiently a side while being attended to. This individual seemed to be a little frustrated by my request for helping me find a pair of boots. Once they had measured my foot and seen the measurements he seemed to be even more frustrated. I had to go through an entire process to finally find a pair of boots that would fit my feet. They do not keep large shoes in stock. They only keep the ones for little people with little seat. By the time they finally got a pair in for me, and I got to finally try them on the entire process was so frustrating. I do not like to be made to feel bad about my disability when I ask somebody for assistance. Especially a sales representative that is supposed to be working on the floor to a retail outlet store. I do not understand why this is always such a problem, and it was a shame that this was an issue at this location as well. Overall, I am very much satisfied with my boots. I just hope that the next time I go in that the customer service experience is a better one. Whatever happened to Meeting a certain standard as far as professional etiquette in the workplace is concerned.

Came in, first customer in the store. I told clerk l knew my size. He insisted on fitting me. Was told to remove both shoes for fitting. Proceded to do so. Other customers came in. He left me sitting there and began helping other customers. Should have listened in the first place that I know my size. Second, should have asked the other customers to wait their turn and finished my fitting and purchase. Sat for several minutes put shoes back on and left. Either the clerk didn't care that he just lost a sale or he was completely clueless as to what was going on. Contacted manager. Manager was absolutely useless and ineffective. Would love to report to the district management as to the terrible customer service provided at this location. Red Wing just lost a good customer, not only at this location, but in general.

They never have what I need. The excuse is always "We can order it or see if another store has it". When I go in for boots is because I want them then, not in a week or 2. If I'm going to spend a could of hundred dollars on shoes or boots they should have product in stock. Size 12 is pretty common and black is a common color. I ended up leaving and buying some shoes at Dillard's. My wife decides where her company gets their safety footwear, I told her to try Red Wing. She was unimpressed and I was sorry that I recommended them. She & I will be seeking somewhere else to get boots. I have been a long time customer of Red Wing & now they've lost my business for good.

I bought a pair of Red Wing boots in August 2015. I used them two to four times per month either hot air ballooning or riding my motorcycle. Recently I got a job doing work in the mountains of New Mexico and thought they would be a great fit considering they are supposed to be waterproof. I was sad to find out they are in fact not waterproof and ended up with soaking wet feet for a couple weeks while I waited to afford new boots. I don't think I will be buying any more Redwing boots in the future. Considering I spent over $250 on these boots I am very disappointed.

All I can say about red wing shoes on Carlisle is WHAT A LOUSY PLACE TO TRY AND DO BUSINESS WITH. I had to wait three weeks to use my voucher for work shoes it was one excuse after another. First the account was closed? Then it was something to do with the billing, that was supposed to have been straightened out on week two? Then the last excuse was something having to do with the TN or in number. . Sorry to say but my experience was not a good one at all.... and I will never go back there ever.

Excellent service and a wonderful place to shop for all boot needs I needed Insoles and came to red wing shoes and they were able to assist me as well as providing excellent customer service They were very professional and easy to deal with they had what I needed and although I did not buy my boots here (I would have had I known about this place sooner) but they still oiled my boots leather to insure that they would last longer. I Can definitely say I will be back

They close way earlier then the online says by 2 hours and then on the sigh it say they close at 5pm new hours I was Thier by 450 and the doors were already locked either way I straight wasted my time then the next day I went to just to drop my shoes off to get fixed took almost 30 min before some one helped me just unbelievable I bought 2 pairs of boots that almost costed 400 dollars and the service sucks after this I'm done with these guys period

Outstanding customer service,I explained to the young man working what I was looking for he listened and HEARD ME !! VERY PERSONABLE, close to closing time didn't rush me explained a few things to me that I was unaware of awesome experience this young man will go far !!!! We ordered two pairs of boots on 7/1/23 & paid almost $600 for them. They were being discontinued but we were assured that we could still get these two pairs. On 7/9/23 we called to check the status & were told that on 7/6 they discovered they couldn’t get them because they weren’t available anywhere & they FORGOT(?) to call us! We’ve been buying boots from Red Wing for years & are HUGELY disappointed.

I was greeted by Valeriya and another gentleman that was helping another customer. Valeriya was very helpful and instrumental to understanding what was required purchases and show me many types of shoes. She was very patient and my experience was very good and other than boots being on back order due to popular sizes I still got a suitable lace up boots that was awesome. Thank you.

Brought in my Iron Rangers to get the insoles repaired for a second time and this location had them for a week and I never got a call back AND they couldnt repair them this time, for some reason. Not sure if it was because of their cobbler or the lady who handed me them and said, "here are your iron ranchers". Needless to say, never going back, and the lifetime guarantee is a scam

Great customer service! Even when the was 4 different customers in the store at the same time, Naomi managed to help out all of us! I was looking for new winter boots and she brought our various models out so I could try them out while she helped the other patrons. About a month later I'm still satisfied with the boots she fit me. Quality footwear.

Store is very quiet very clean very professional Elijah was very helpful in getting me fitted and answered all the questions that I had and very polite and professional and patient we found the right boot and I'm very excited about my purchase and highly recommend this location on Carlisle and New Mexico and Elijah as your service representative

This store has always had great customer service when I would shop here, but my most recent visit I had exceptional service. The gentleman who helped me knew the product and was able to assist me in resolving my issues with my boots. He took the time to measure my feet before getting me into new boots. I highly recommend this store.

Good customer service. They don't have all of the newest red wings boots but they have a big/good enough inventory where you'd definitely find what you need whether that be work or casual. Red wings are the Best works boots I've ever worn. Pricey but worth it.

Worst service ever! I went there, tried three models and this guy Robert didn't want to bring me any more shoes to try. I think someone is forgetting who's the customer here... In addition, he kept doing stupid jokes all the time. You should never go there!

Great people there. I've always bought my safety glasses from them and they didn't have the one's that I normally buy in stock but they took the time to look them up and order them for me and they're shipping them directly to me at no extra charge.

Standard red wing store with limited selection of work boots in stock (after talking to staff sounded like most boots needed to be ordered). Not overly impressed especially considering cost of product and that most are not made in the U.S. anymore.

I had two different pairs of boots a lot of the guys I work with love them but not for me had to return both pairs......I gave them 4 stars because of the customer service very well taking care of just wish the boots worked out

Had shoe size on file and type just walked in bought another pair in under 5 minutes, shoes are pricey but after finding the right pair shoes they last, plus they fix shoes here also. Quality.

Very nice staff, great location, great boot selection. These are not cheap boots but they last a long time because they are well made. I think this store is bigger than the west side store.

Laura was very rude and even 2 other customers were treaed rude to them too. I asked for a manager and the assistant wasbuzy.the orherblond lady was setting and on her phone.

I've always had Red Wing boots for working they are comfortable always a good fit and don't get it wrong you will have to break them in and once you do they fit like a glove

It was wonderful me and my wife went inside and showed us everything they had and we found what we wanted excellent service we will be back again …

The worker was amazing she told my husband which shoes work best for him she was patient with my husband until he choose his most comfortable shoes for his working feet.

Definitely a good store to buy top quality shoes at however the prices are definitely up there but if you're looking for a durable pair of shoes this is the place to go

The manager was very friendly and helpful and competent I was in and out within 15 minutes already knew what I wanted and they had it in stock totally awesome!

Not too busy. There was a short wait to get sized. They didn't have the boot I wanted in the store, but called another to get it sent over as soon as possible.

I love their shoes! They can be expensive but they last a very long time. Bonus, you can bring in your shoes anytime for a quick shine and new laces for free!

My first pair of Red Wings in 15 years. Staff was great. Came here for protective toe work shoes. We will see if they are worth the 250$ I paid them for.
