I've had so much trouble with this bank that it's absolutely positively ridiculous. I transferred money to my account and was told it was good to go but then the next day my card wouldn't work. I called and was told I had to go to the bank and do an ID verification and fill out a form. This problem went on for a few days and I have money in my account but I can't use it for food, gas or etc. They said it takes 2 to 3 days for the ID verification to validate and my account to be taken off hold. So now I'm having to survive on $2 in my pocket and will have to ask to borrow money from folks to get food to eat gas to go to work. This is the worst bank company ever. I'm canceling my account and going back to Navy Federal Credit Union, they are more supportive of U.S Veterans like myself and have been easier to work with. Sadly they just have one bank here in the entirety of New Orleans. I will not use Regions Bank anymore once and if I get my hard earned money back that I worked for.
Terrible experience that I am hoping was a fluke. Charges galore on my new account. Paper statement fee of $3 every month, $10 for checks I never received and $8/mo fee for not using my debit card 10 times/month. I didn't dispute the $8 monthly fee bc I probably ignored the debit card usage thinking I would have direct deposits. When asked about the paper statement fee, the manager Tiffany Lucas, told me it was bc I was coming into the branch requesting statements. I entered that bank ONE TIME to open my account and I used the drive through once to make a deposit! I only received one paper statement in the three months I had an account, never received the checks that I apparently ordered and during our discussion manager was defensive and talked over me. The fees were refunded and the next day I closed both my accounts. Worst banking experience and customer service EVER.
I was told that I have to take my mask off to be in the bank?!? That’s so messed up. What if I had Covid? The likelihood of illness spread is much higher than customers robbing the bank they are regular customers at. Also, there are all these little papers stuck to the counter saying how amazing and friendly the staff here are. They are not. They are consistently rude and condescending and unhelpful. As soon as I am able I’m switching to a different branch or even bank. The exception to the rudeness is the lady who is doing my money order right now is super nice. I have nothing against the staff who are nice. But how insulting to be a member and regular customer of a bank for YEARS and then be told to pull one’s mask down, the implication being that I’m about to rob them.
Earlier this year, I was in New Orleans for Fat Tuesday. The Sunday before, I lost my debit card and thought I was going to be out of luck because it was Lundi Gras. The local museums were closed, but Regions was open. Ivy & Austin took care of me when I arrived. After a failed last attempt to find my debit card; we made sure there were no fraudulent charges before canceling and giving me a new card right there. They saved my 1st Mardi Gras in New Orleans from being a struggle trip. Thanks so much to them.
This bank completely ruined my whole program. I need a cashiers check in the Google listing says it closes the drive-through at 5:30, however while I’m down here and there’s no one here standing around looking like an idiot. They also lying about their phone number. The phone number takes you to the one 800 corporate company, not this branch. The fact of the matter is, they suck and they don’t like talking to people and that’s why I tipped over there garbage can and I will do it again
I Needed Help To Get Some Things Done With Business And My Card..The Guy ROGER Was Amazing..Help Me With Anything I Needed..Great Customer Service..Thank You Roger
Just want to give props to Jessica working at this branch! She really went over and beyond to help me with my account. Definitely will continue banking here!
Ivy has a bad attitude everytime i go into this regions bank, she does not have good customer service and makes you feel welcomed.
Staff are always ready to help and always greet customers with a smile and proficiency. Thanks.
Everything I want in a bank: professional, courteous, efficient, convenient hours.
No ATM. What kind of bank doesn’t have an ATM?
