Overall, the dining experience was quite enjoyable. The soup stood out for its delicious flavor, and the Goulash, our main course, was excellently prepared. The waiter's recommendation for beer exceeded expectations, and the espresso, met my approval at an acceptable price in Europe. Despite a slight delay of around 15 minutes in delivering my espresso and the bill, the overall service quality is highly satisfactory. While I can't directly compare the prices to other establishments in the city, when measured against Austrian or German counterparts, the value for money is impressive. I recommend this place, especially for group outings, but advise a call ahead to ensure a seamless experience

Traditional Beef Goulash

The food was really good quality. The brisket, steak and fries, tomato salad, and meatball soup were outstanding comfort food. After finishing a great meal, I was very disappointed when was asked to give a tip, if would like. I think because I am American. Another table next to me was asked to consider giving a tip too as they were Americans. I noticed non-American tables were not asked to give a tip. Remember, In Europe as well as in Asia, tips are never asked as part of the meal, only in America and Canada. I gave 10% tip. However, I felt very disappointed as we were treated differently from non- American customers. Will not be back for that reason.

Strong Beef Broth, Brisket a Fried

Dinning at touristic area is a hit or a miss. This resto is definitely a hit. We came in freezing late evening of December adter Christmas market without reservation, and they took us in despite they will be closing in less than 2 hours. The staff were accomodating and nice. The service were very efficient and perfecty done, not rushed. Food were done beautifully. Soup were presented with class. Beef were tender and true to its flavor, Gnocchi were soft and easy to palate, and caramel creme was a divine. The resto have mid moderm ambience and you wont smell kitchen after dinning. Will be back again next summer.

An excellent restaurant that delivers on its promise.. Tasty starters and dishes, soup, chicken, porc and duck, all were delicious and above and beyond expectations. Prices are just right, with excellent value for money ratio. If you’re in Prague and craving traditional Czech cuisine, look no further! I highly recommend this place!

First Czech food and restaurant experience and it was a great one thanks to our waiter Martin. Speaks great English, very accomodating, makes you wanna come back! Now food: just loved the sausages but wasn't that impressed by the potato soup and the goulash although those two are also popular dishes there. It was far from bad though. Interested to try the other dishes. The price is also very acceptable.

Chocolate Fondant

We got recommended to go here by our hotel, and it didn't disappoint. We were welcomed in and sat down quickly. We ordered the Svickova and the goulash, bot hof which were delicious and warming, which was exactly what we wanted on a cold winter night. The flavours in both the dishes were fantastic. I would happily come here again for traditional Czech food and I would recommend going here if you are looking for that.

This was our first time eating Czech food so don’t really know where this stands. The food tasted really good and had what seemed like authentic flavours. There are enough choices if you don’t eat meat and the service and ambience is good too.

Beef with Cream Sauce

Great place with good food and nice staff! The prague ham and vegetables was soo good, everything went well with the sauce. My friends ordered beef and wild boar and they were all very pleased with their choices. The food came fast and it was hot. Loved the pretzels!

We ate here several times during our stay in Prague. The traditional potato soup, the baked pretzels, the Pilsner beer, the homemade chips, the Goulash with potato dumplings. Everything was delicious!!! Highly recommend this restaurant.

Traditional Beef Goulash a Dumplings

Really nice and pleasant tmosphere in the restaurant. We had the beef soup to start which was very nice. For main we had the goulash with was the highlight of the meal, the potatoes dumping went great with the thick goulash soup. We also had the duck which was very good. Overall great meal. A bit pricey, but worth it.

Everything was very good, food service, interior. We had the privilege to be seated downstairs and it was very quiet and intimate compared to the ground floor. So, a tip from me, do ask to be seated downstairs to avoid the noise.

Hard to believe that there is a good restaurant in the center of all attractions. I’ve traveled to Prague twice, and also visited this place twice. They never disappoint me in terms of food and service. This time i tried the pork knuckle that is not on the menu, and it turned out great as well.

Nice goulash. The place is spacious and was the only one that had a table for two at lunchtime. Other places were fully booked more likely because people avoid overpriced lunches. Still the food was very good.

We visited Minicova on our first night in Prague, after a recommendation from our hotel, and we couldn't beat it! The staff we extremely welcoming despite being busy and we had no reservation. Delicious Czech food at a very reasonable price. Located next to old square you might think this is a tourist trap but it’s not! We’ve been here a few times now and have always had a great experience. I highly recommend the Beef Goulash!
