*UPDATE* A month later and I still have not heard from anyone at Roadrunner to discuss my experience or attempt to correct any issue. They overfilled the coolant in my car which can lead to damage and expensive repairs. Avoid this place or they will damage your car and then blame you for bringing it to them, like they did to me. My first visit was really nice, but my second visit makes me not want to go back. Stopped in for an oil change and was told I needed to replace a few filters. I said ok to having the filters replaced,but was shocked when I found the price was nearly double what I paid the last time. But the worst part is after I had left I noticed that when I turn on the blower on my AC that is makes a load hum like a bathroom fan. I had a chance to stop back by today and ask about it. The gentleman I spoke with pulled the filter to see if that was the issue, then when the humming continued said it could be leaves that gotten stuck (are there that many leaves falling inside the shop?) or maybe a fan blade had fallen off. My car was not making this noise before I brought it in here and I was told it would be $150 one hour labor for them to take it apart to see what was going on, but if It didn't bother me that bad I could just leave it doing that and ignore it. My car is barely two years old and was fine before I brought the car in. It really felt like he was making any excuse to not have to take a look at it. Staff is always friendly, but customer service is not just about being friendly. I regret bringing my car here. I feel really taken advantage of, like due to my ignorance they could get by with telling me anything. All I wanted was an oil change hand preferably not for $149 dollars.

I saw this place go up many years ago. And, when they still seemed to be doing a pretty healthy business, decided to give them a try for the first time today. The staff were all pretty friendly. Really made me feel like they were doing more than just an oil change. I was having some squeaking with turning either because of new struts that need time to wear in, or perhaps lubing issues. They did not try to sell me a full chassis lube as they said it was not needed. Got to appreciate a place that does not try to sell you unnecessary things. Very knowledgeable about the difference between conventional and synthetics. They are able to earmark future services, which with a car with 150,000 miles that is 14 years old, will need a few things coming up! -- UPDATED 9/2023 --- car needed a major repair, AC evaporator, huge job. Went straight to Roadrunner L and T. Jesse told me it would be a big job, which I already knew, but explained everything and had it up and running. So far so good, crossing my fingers! They also have a 6-month deferred interest that I can chop this big bill up into three or four much more manageable payments. Pretty awesome. Left a loaned vehicle behind to have the oil changed to take advantage of an incentive as a part of the financing!

Called for questions about a state inspection the guy on the phone sounded as if I should know the question I'm asking, little to no customer service, sounded like he didn't want to talk to me at all, didnt even say goodbye on the phone he just hung up. As I arrived there, in my mind I thought they should have inspectors there it's a lube shop after all. I was dead wrong because when I walked in and asked if I can have an inspection done he said "all the inspectors are out at 4pm". Shouldn't that be something you should tell the customer when they call about an inspection? I also know this is the same person i talked to on the phone because he had that same attitude. I have done business with this repair shop before but if someone acts like that, I'm out. What a waste of time. Here's a little advice for next time if someone calls about something, sound like your interested in doing business with the customer, it's not that hard.

Miscommunications. Service manager is nice, but the tech working on my car was in the customer waiting area, fiddle-farting around while I was waiting for the ticket. Whoever the tech is, had zero concern regarding the fact I was sitting there wondering why my car that was “ready” still had the hood up and no one doing ANYTHING to it. He said it’s fixed, still waiting for the check engine light to “pop off” and he quoted me over $2500 for front and rear shocks and struts. Sounds high. Car wasn’t inspected because of the check engine light, and a fuel connector is supposedly the culprit. Last time I was there, it was much better service and things were ready. Crossing fingers for the light to go out. The most expensive oil change ever…$162., without inspection and the lights still shining bright. ‍♀️

I had great service on my first trip (inspection & oils change), and it was more affordable than I thought. However they gave me the wrong (another vehicles) paperwork for my vehicle inspection. I didn’t notice this until I got to the courthouse and I immediately called the shop. A younger guy answered and I told him what the issue was. He asked if I would like to come pick it up or email. I chose email because I was already across town. He asked to place me on hold before he got my email, I said sure. I was left on hold for 12min and 56 seconds before the phone hung up, super frustrating. But I would recommend them just look at your paperwork before you leave and pray you don’t get put on hold while at the courthouse to get your registration.

The reviews on here seem incomplete. The accurate picture is on Yelp. The last time I went to this shop for an oil change, my car smelled absolutely HORRIBLE. Like something had been burning. I parked in the garage and it made the garage smell. Took it back to the shop when I noticed it was also leaking oil. Was told they likely hadn’t changed the filter. I’m dreading the next oil change because I think they f’ed something up. If someone is paying $100 for an oil change, they shouldn’t have to wonder if the filter is included. Nor should their car reek. The owner left a little message on yelp saying someone would reach out. 7 months later…still haven’t talked to anyone! This place is a scam. Go elsewhere!

I brought my vehicle in to get an inspection in the morning. They said I needed a new hand brake. I asked them to repair it. They waited until they were about to close to call me and tell me they did not do the work on my vehicle yet. I went and picked up my car and strangely all the stuff in my center console had been taken out and tossed in the passenger seat. I had provided my insurance card for them already so there was no reason to have been digging through my car. It did not inspire confidence. I went to a different inspection place and they said my hand brake was fine and I passed inspection.

I have come here for everything for the last few years. I’m working out of state and needed to take care of my daughter’s car needs. I call Roadrunner knowing I’d get great service and my daughter would be in good hands…they proceed to try and upsell me what amounts to essentially “blinker fluid” knowing full well that, a) it’s the holidays and money is tight; and, b) understanding that I’m out of state and “recommending” unnecessary and EXPENSIVE extra services to my vulnerable teenaged daughter is nothing short of predatory. Y’all just lost a loyal and previously trusting client.

I was nervous walking in bc I have zero clue what to do or if the price was what it needed to be. I was quoted an outrageous amount from Kia on getting my brakes done. The guy I worked with was very understanding, nice, he didn't pressure me Into buying other stuff and He kept me informed while my brakes were being changed. I'll say the price was very low compared to other places. I highly recommend them. There also was a technician who was very kind and made us laugh and enjoy our time while waiting. Great job!

Services were quicker than I expected. I forgot the guy’s name that was at the desk but he was very informative and gave me in good detail about the work that was done. I think his name was Aaron. I’m just beyond glad I was able to get this done the same day I called and so relieved my AC is blowing cold air and I’m not dying from heat in traffic now. Hopefully it lasts a long time. Thanks to the person or people that worked on my ragged car! I appreciate you working in this heat!

My low tire pressure alert came on while driving on the expressway. It was very concerning as the low tire was almost 10 psi lower than the others. I drove straight here and they fixed it!! At first, they didn’t find a problem because the sensor said it was a front tire. So, instead of letting me drive away, they went ahead and checked all my tires- that’s when they found the nail! I’m so grateful they did that. They were so helpful and I will definitely be back!

I really appreciate the staff at Road Runner. I called a few minutes before closing with a car issue on the way home from work. They told me to just get the car there, someone would be there even after closing. They gave me a fair price on my repairs and everything was done quickly and well. A trustworthy and fair group which I really appreciate when I have no idea about cars and need to rely on others. I definitely recommend heading there for any car needs.

They were quick, efficient and thorough. They were priced fairly and even caught an air filter that was the incorrect size for my vehicle from the last filter change! Pleasant staff, very helpful, didn’t pressure me to over buy or perform services I didn’t need. Waited a little over an hour for tire rotation, replace/diagnose the air filter bru-ha-ha, oil change and even refilled my washer fluid. Will return for great service and a nice price!

I got my oil changed and tires pumped here, and everything was quick and great quality. I was lucky because they could get me in at last minutes notice, and while their wheel alignment machine was down it was still good. They informed me of a leak my car had, but didn’t push to get it done right then and there, instead saying it would cost a bit of money and need more diagnostics, which I was grateful for instead of feeling forced. Great place.

If I could give more stars I would. I went in with an engine light on and also needed inspection. They were able to get me financing, walking out paying only $21 today AND they took me home, came back and took me to work...... Then DELIVERED my car to me once it was all done. That kind of customer service is unheard of now days. These guys went more than above and beyond and I am a forever customer now!! Thank you so much guys! Muah!

I recommend using this place. I took my 2012 QX56 in for a rear suspension sagging. The tech who did the work was quick to diagnose the problem and do a recalibration of the rear suspension system. This saved me thousands on repair cost that an infinity dealership had quoted me over 4k in parts and repairs that were not required. The manager Zak was very helpful and overall great experience as I was in and out in less than 24 hours.

Fantastic shop, today was my first time in but it certainly won't be my last. The office is super clean and everyone was really friendly. I only needed a State inspection this time, but I'll be planning to head back in for all my oil changes and routine maintenance. I've worked in mechanic shops similar to this in the past, and once you do it's easy to spot a well run honest shop, and roadrunner definitely is. 5!

Stopped in for a break inspection, got in right away. They found that my car also needed an axle repair. Luckily it fell under a warranty repair. I called the dealership from the Road Runner office and of course the dealership tried to tell me it wasn’t a warranty repair without even looking at it. Handed the Road Runner staff my phone and they explained everything that was needed, backed me up 100%.

The staff at this facility is great, they answer all of your questions no matter how many you have. They are very knowledgeable and they don’t try to sell you anything extra. Great Customer Service! I always take my vehicle here. All of the staff are very nice and friendly, especially the gentleman who rang me up. Thank You for telling me the difference between the AMSOIL and the Mobil.

Went in for an oil change that they estimated would take 30 minutes at most. An hour in they came to up sell me new tires and filters. I took the filters and told them I have tire people. They still tried to sell me tires. Every person that walked in that door they tried to upsell. Finally after an hour and a half, they were finished with the 30 minute job. I will never go back.

I had a wonderful experience here! We called regarding an oil change and we were given accurate and valuable information. We processed to bring it in and when we brought it the service was straightforward, pleasant, quick. Vince and Van hopped right on the issue! The pricing was transparent and generous. Well somehow the guy left the oil cap on top of the motor and tried to close the hood. Well that go the hood caught in between open and closed but now it wouldn't open or close. Well I'm watching this unfold right in front of me for ten too fifteen minutes. All they needed to do was tell me what the he'll was going on but they didn't which had me a bit upset.

The people at Road Runner Lube & Tune were very professional!! They waited on me immediately when I walked in. My inspection was completed with very little wait time. This place is amazing! Tommy the technician up there is extremely knowledgeable and explains things in a way you can understand. First time visiting this location for a vehicle inspection. Jesse and K.C. were very professional and friendly. The entire location was very clean. Small but cozy waiting area. They quoted an approximate time and our inspection was completed within that time frame. We will definitely return for other services and highly recommend this business.

Walk In for oil change and inspection on my son's car. Oil change was dimpled in about 30 minutes when they informed me the tires were bald on the front and wouldn't pass inspection. Thankfully they didn't put it in the system and I can get the tires replaced under warranty then come back for the inspection. Good guys working there

I took my car for an alignment. They had there mask off in the shop which I felt fine about. So my mask was half on and the manager asked me to put my mask on while they didn’t have mask on. Also after two hours. It was still off. It still pulls to the right. And when I got home my hood wasn’t closed. I’m glad it caught the latch.

As a woman it’s always nerve racking to go into places like these. I have experienced in the past many men trying to “let me know” what I need done. I am very grateful for the time Aaron and his team took to explain and advise but not push their recommendation on me. If you need honest work done I’d highly recommend this place.

The staff is very friendly, kind, efficient and helpful. The lobby has an inside seating area that is clean and comfortable. I bring both my car and my husband's car to this location for inspections, oil changes and I have also bought tires from Roadrunner. Went in at 8:40 am for state inspection. A couple of men came in after me for just an inspection as well and left way before I did. Got out of there at 10:25 am. I asked is it first come first served? The guy said yes but, the state machine was giving them trouble. Okay but, not for the men? First time and last time there.

Mr Elvis Quiles and his team at 5000 N Tarrant were great and helped me with my inspection and even went out of their way to replace a lightbulb. They worked fast and professional. Great customer service and I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Mr Elvis Quiles deserves a commendation for his commitment for sure.

15SEP23: Got a screw in my tire and Road Runners is ALWAYS my go-to. They fixed it fast and reasonably. They are so service oriented and good to ALL their customers. While waiting I listened to them source a part for another customer so they could fix their car quickly and right! It shows that they love their work!

Great service from the whole team! KC at the the front was very professional. I went to Discount Tires and they tried to charge $200 for a new tire due to nail being too deep. Road Runner said they found no leakage in tire, and fixed the problem for free. Will definitely be coming back to get my car serviced!

This place was very efficient, forward about issues, and did not make me fix things that weren't broken when I brought it in like some other repairs shops can be. They also ran a great special on tires. The manager is top of the line in terms of knowledge, experience, and customer service. Highly recommend

I went here on a Saturday afternoon expecting a long wait. The staff was friendly, professional, and done in 30 minutes. The price was great and I didn’t have to readjust the seats, mirrors, or radio station like I often do after other places service my car. They made it quick and easy for me!

It’s a waste of time, las year I did my vehicle inspection in this location, and it passed, today I visit this same location and today won’t pass because of the window tints, same ones from last year, really absurd, the clerk was really nice and very professional

It's crazy to remember how weary I've always been with repair shops. You always get the feeling there's some dishonesty going on. The guy at Roadrunner Lube & Tune are such trustworthy straight-shooters that I think I can leave my mechanic cynicism in the past.

The service was timely, and everyone I interacted with was friendly. The waiting area was clean, which is rare to see in service shops. They even had an area with toys and a free arcade game, which was helpful to keep my little one entertained while we waited.

This place is great. Any bad review of this place is just a one off, unlucky experience. I got there 4:30pm on a weekday and they had my emissions check done in 30 mins. Employee at the front was nothing short of friendly and respectful. Definitely recommend!

They tried to fail my cars inspection using my tires tread as rationale in what appeared to be a scheme to get me to purchase tires. My tires thread was within nominal ranges of passing and after providing them with that evidence, they passed the inspection.

They don’t know how to open front bonnet of mini Cooper . The guy was doing inspection and he didn’t know where the latch was to open the front bonnet . Ripped plastic off of front bonnet . If he doesn’t know how to open the front bonnet he could’ve ask .

The worst auto shop I’ve ever used. A year ago I used them to fix my coolant system and they only caused more issues. I had to go back 3 times within two weeks after “fixing” the issue. Not even a year later everything they fixed has broken

Very pleasant experience other than the length of time to perform the service, wouldn’t complain had I not been told 45 minutes to an hour to complete it. They got my car in quickly but then sat and waited more than an hour and a half.

This place is not for big rig diesel truck inspections!! The staff was very nice but I just thought I’d let everyone know because it’s not clear. And if you come, there is no where to even think about dropping your trailer.
