Fine for routine stuff but when there was a problem with my French bulldog puppy limping they did X-rays and diagnosed him with hip dysplasia and said all kinds of scary stuff before rushing me out because they were closing. They did not give me any kind of advice or guidance that would help me with the puppy’s recovery. Two weeks later I see a specialist and it turns out he broke a small part of his knee while playing. So they totally misdiagnosed him and I could have treated his knee sooner. If you want a vet where care is taken to guide a new pet owner through potentially traumatic situations maybe look elsewhere. It’s a pity because the people are friendly but I think they take on more than they can handle so they end up not having time to care for each animal thoroughly. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately, I've had to take my cat to the vet for the very first time under rather dire circumstances. Although she's an indoor cat (lives on the 5th storey and can't get out) she was poisoned severely. The staff and Dr Grant at RVC have been phenomenal in caring for her and nursing her back to health. On day 3 we went to put her down and on day 7 we were taking her home. There's still a small chance she won't survive but this team have been so sensitive, positive and caring. I'm truly grateful for their kindness and brilliant work (even if she doesn't make it). I highly recommend this veterinary clinic and will definitely (well, hopefully not, but if I have to!) be returning in the future.

We have emigrated and this was our Veterinary practice. I would highly recommend them. They truly care about the pets and the owners. My experience with Andrea and Kate was exceptional theuout the whole process of our move. They went above and beyond the call of duty!! And always with a smile. Dr Jeanette is a very loving and caring Doctor. She was always so amazing with my pups. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vet. The best by far!!

This place is amazing. I was recommended to take my pugs here by my previous vet for dentistry I can't remember why ..But I'm ever so happy they did. I don't think I will go anywhere else again for my dogs. All the staff are friendly and helpful, the place is clean and quite affordable. I am comfortable leaving my pets in their hands and I have never felt that way at any other vet before so that really says a lot . Good job team !

Dr. Grant is unbelievable, our cat has been seriously ill for a few days and Dr. Grant went completely out of his way to get our little boy on the mend. Always remains calm (I needed this as I was panicked) and explained every detail to me so I could fully understand what was going on and how we were going to fix him. What a fantastic man and a fantastic practice.

A lost dog wandered into our school ground this morning, very tired, hungry and thirsty. I took it to a nearby vet in Milner road but was turned away quite rudely. Desperate, I called Rondebosch Vet Clinic and they so graciously took this old boy as I had to rush back to work. They were all very kind and helpful, and clearly committed to helping animals!

I have not had the opportunity to visit this clinic as I have no pets at the moment but I pass this veterinary hospital daily and I can promise you that I so love the cats and dogs on the pavement and wall that this shall be the first place I shall go to when I do. Well done on exceptional pavement appeal.

Thank you SO much for dispensing Clomicalm for my dog who is not a client at your vet! My regular vet had supply issues over the festive season and all the other vets in the area were unwilling to assist so you guys ROCK. I will be using you as my second vet from now on.
