"The staff member while showing the bags was rude and disrespectful - she slightly injured me, perhaps by mistake, while taking out the bag and said sorry as if it's just a formality to say sorry"
"I’d rate higher if they remodeled, made this place more organized and had a way to buy gift cards online"
"Very rude and cunning staff: I told Hilda, the cashier, that I prefer my purchase with the tag in case I want to return it"
I would give this location -5 if I could. I was returning completely unworn shoes, still tags attached with receipt. The 30 days had passed for full refund. In this case they will issue a store credit. The store manager was refusing to do a store credit saying, "it's been more than 30 days". I said I understand and therefore I'm ok with store credit. She then proceeds to say, "It's been more than a month, so you can't return this item". I repeat again that the shoes are unworn, tags attached with a receipt. She turns over the receipt and tries to find a policy that says otherwise. Fails to find any policy that states I can't get a store credit. She stays silent for another minute and comes up with "the computer won't let me do this return". Really?! Now it's the computer? I've never experienced this in any stores before. Another cashier comes by, and she turns to him switching to another language to explain something. He finally did my return and issued me store credit. Apparently, he has a different "supercomputer"? This was beyond laughable. This is not the first time I've experienced bullying in this location. On another occasion I was looking for jackets and when I saw how busy the fitting room was, I decided to try on the jacket in front of the mirror. As I put on the jacket, I noticed a worker was staring at me uncomfortably. I removed the jacket and hung it back where it was. Everywhere I went in the store she kept following me. I decided to ignore her and proceeded to try on another jacket. She approaches me and tells me aggressively I need to put the jacket back. I said I'm trying it on, and I'll put it back when I'm done. "You need to put it back" and she continues to argue with me. This was so vulgar I felt uncomfortable to continue shopping. I finally just walked out of the store, that was so upsetting to me. What's going on?! Why am I being treated this way? It was so obvious I was being targeted. Other people tried on things in front of the mirror, but she chose to harass ME. I will tell all my family and friends not to go there. I hope everyone will see my review. I couldn't keep silent after this last scenario with the "manager". The jacket situation by the way happened to me twice on different occasions. This is the truth. I don't need this kind of harassment, and certainly not from employees. If you hate your job, find another one. But don't treat me this way. It was really disgusting.
Disabled people beware! This store's employees actively discriminate against disabled people. I was carrying my purchases in a large shopping bag, as I have a visible disability where I do not have full use of my hands and arms, so I need to carry things on my shoulders. And employee came up to me while I was shopping and demanded very rudely that I was not allowed to use my shopping bag for shopping, and demanded I use a cart. I cannot physically use a cart, as I said, I have a very visible disability with arm braces. She them demanded I take everything out of my shopping bag and carry it around, another impossible task. She hovered menacingly over me until I took everything out in front of her. This is in direct legal violation of the ADA's accessibility and accomodations laws, a federal crime! Shopper beware! There is a Marshall's in the same shopping plaza whose employees don't discriminate against disabled people, so don't support this despicable business when there are better options!
The staff member while showing the bags was rude and disrespectful - she slightly injured me, perhaps by mistake, while taking out the bag and said sorry as if it's just a formality to say sorry. I let it go but it kept happening while I was trying to check out the bag that interested me. I just backed away. Later, an unfortunate incident occurred and she couldn't/didn't do anything. So, I feel somethings could be improved here. - Otherwise not a bad store for shopping for less. The other cashier staff lady helped me check out nicely and kindly, which I appreciated as a customer. Update: They have become more careful now. It feels lesser foolish during payments now.
I’d rate higher if they remodeled, made this place more organized and had a way to buy gift cards online. Plus returns aren’t very easy or accepted. I like the fact that you can find nice shoes here (more than Marshalls). They always have my size, some nice sandals. Clothes is definitely lacking especially for plus size pants. So if you have bigger hips I’d recommend Walmart. Also the clothes look like they’ve been sitting there for ages collecting dust. I haven’t been able to find good skin/hair products there recently. They sell cheap purses and the few they have that are maybe Michael Kors are overpriced.
Very rude and cunning staff: I told Hilda, the cashier, that I prefer my purchase with the tag in case I want to return it. She nodded in dismissal saying that it's the same thing to take the same other item without the tag that too with a rude expression. I replied no and that it's wrong to be rude like that. She smartly smiled back saying 'ok, thank you' without any remorse or apology or admitting her wrong behavior. I had to argue it out and she kept cunningly smiling without admitting her wrong doing so unethically. Such is the staff hired by Ross!
If I can I would give this store a -10.I drove 40 minutes to try this store and I regretted every minute. The cashier was so horrible with the worst attitude. she didn’t answer my question and made me wait for nothing also she would not fix a simple problem that it was her fault simply she broke the tag and didn’t attach it back so I can return the item if I wanted plus the store wasn’t crowded.
Awesome place for getting things in low prices and more varieties are available for clothes, home & kitchen, kids toys, gift etc.
I love this store! They have a lot stuff! Clothes, ornaments, toys, luggage and much more!
Great place,, needs more donations
