13 March 2022: Our diepkloof police station is really failing us, as a member of a female dominated family with only 2 males, a 12 year old and a 15 year old who are barely able to stand up for us/protect us. We had a really traumatic experience as we had a person come up to out house at around 3h30 A.M and started throwing glass bottles at the gate that he's getting from a recycling bag around the corner and insulting the family we called our 10111 and proceeded to search and call the police station number as we were placed on hold for a very long time, when the police officer Ms Ngcolosi if not mistaken picked up the phone she couldnt even ask for the full address as soon as I gave the numeral address she asked for the zone and just concluded the call with my name and hung up. I called again after an hour still waiting on them and the response was to check how far the police van is. We were brushed off... Mind you, it takes less than 10 minutes for me to walk to the police station and it took the police van forever to come still hasn't. The male only left after 6 in the morning. I'm wondering what could have happened if the gate was left unlocked and the male was able to come into the house and help himself on us. My 4 female siblings together with my gran are unsettled till now. I am really heartbroken and I'm feeling unsafe.

I called in trauma to report a hijacking i experienced 03/06/2022 at Makubenjalo pub around 2 a.m Instead of being help I was laughed at by the team of police whom where at the station, judging my decision due to my youth and gender because they were all female as I sat there and waited till the morning as they refused to open a case at that time OF WHICH I GOT THE CASE NUMBER AFTER 5 DAYS AFTER CALLING ASKING ABOUT IT

VERY VERY VERY poor service by that police station, i really can deal, i called they about 16 times an no one answers the phone- now imagine if that was an emergency, and finally when you get through, they give you kaak service no wonder G.P is full of crime people, can rely rely on you, you just disgusting

I went there to certify copies and it was quick took me less than 30 seconds,I don't know about those opening cases but for me the station is good and easy to locate

Useless,I opened a case last year but even now the criminal is free if i go there to ask them about the case they tell me i must call them when i see the suspect.
