I feel like I was discrimated against here because I’m not white by the manager Patrick. Previously before I was checked out Patrick checked out a white couple who bought a belt and pair of shoes. Patrick gave them $15 off for “loyalty”. I was going to purchase two pairs of shoes totaling $407.89 and Patrick was right next to me and didn’t even blink to offer me a discount so I returned my items and walked away. The white couple was just spending $138.74 and got a $15 loyalty discount. And I was spending $407.89 and wasn’t even offered a $1 off. They also had one sales clerk on the floor named “Claudia” who they had running around doing a job of 5 people on her own cause she’s Hispanic. If you want to go to a racist good ole boy type establishments come here.

Okay, I have crazy shaped, flat, wide feet. I had no idea there were shoes out there that actually fit me comfortably. The two clerks that were there (Diana and Patrick I believe) were incredibly helpful, from measuring my feet to making sure both shoes fit well, and helping me try on as many pairs as I needed to. And they were so nice and patient the whole time. The shoes are not what you would call fashionable (though the new Mary Janes' are pretty cute) but they are probably the best pair of shoes I have ever owned. Pretty pricey, around $130 per pair but so worth it if you have to work on your feet all day.

Honestly, I can write a memoir about my experience with Patrick at SAS this afternoon. I'm going to keep it short and sweet. Patrick runs this town. He has a warm heart, he makes you feel extremely welcome, and also listens with empathy. He deserves the world. He is also a KILLER salesman. His honesty and clarity helped me make a very important purchase. Thank you, Patrick. I'll be back to visit you, without a doubt.

Both Rose and Patrick were so helpful and friendly. My husband found a nice pair of comfortable shoes. And Rose helped me pick out a pair of work shoes/ boots.... We will continue to come to the south Austin store, off south Capital of Texas highway. Made in the USA ... Great, comfy and long lasting shoe's. Thanks, Rose and Larry

Yes, these shoes are expensive, but you wear your shoes for many hours each day and it's important to have the correct fit. This store will measure your feet and the shoe will be the correct width. Which is hard to find at lower cost shoe stores. The shoes are still less costly than name brand basketball shoes. :).

This is where quality shoes come from. If you care about your feet, come get some good shoes. Patrick, the store manager is super helpful and will find your perfect fit. If you're not shopping here, you need better shoes, even if you don't know it yet.

Old fashioned shoe store, staff is friendly, helps you getting the right fit. All the shoes are made in San Antonio. The shoes are expensive but well made. I have been buying SAS shoes since 1982. The have both men and women's shoes.

Sara gave us a really enjoyable tour of the 2 factories. Super friendly & helpful staff. I had no idea of the craftsmanship of SAS products! We enjoyed the visit.

Spent a llt of time in tbis store and wS able to find a shoe fir my daughter. The dales person was very knowledgeable and helpful. Nice clean store.
