"Fantastic experience at the iconic historical Sydney Cricket Ground"
"This was one of the best thing i experienced in Sydney during my stay"
"I heard about the SCG Tour Experience from a friend of mine and I'm so glad I decided to do it"
"It’s a fabulous tour conducted by Mr"
Ah....Must visit place if you are a cricket fan. It's a historical place and the tour guide explains everything in detail. Starting from the statues to press room, Bradman stand, media room, commentary boxes, other stands, players rooms, Lara - Sachin gate, the ground...... It's a fantastic journey. You can take nice photographs and learn a lot of cricket history including the story of the great Ashes (Eg. The body line series) and big rivalry between England and Australian team. Special thanks to our tour guide Ron Davis he was amazing. I haven't seen a passionate man like him at his age (Never felt he is in his Early 80's). He does his job with lot of enthusiasm and passion. You can buy some souvenirs as well, but they have a very small collection of items though. Over all a fantastic experience!!!
Fantastic experience at the iconic historical Sydney Cricket Ground. The tour guide - RON - spoke passionately about the various little facts about the stadium and the trivias. The tour included visit to the museum, the walk of honour, going inside the ground but not the field of play, visit to both the change rooms, the media room etc. It lasted almost an hour and a half. All along the way there are toilets for the patrons. Though would recommend carrying a bottle of water especially for a hot day.
This was one of the best thing i experienced in Sydney during my stay..the tour was well orchestrated and guided by an expert host. He took us to the iconic SCG' s pavilion, home and away dressing room, long room bar, media centre, museum, the walk of Honor and more. Though the time was not sufficient (my feelings, as a true cricket fan, even an entire day would be less). Highly recommended to have this tour to live history of SCG, as well as witness the wonder of future..
I heard about the SCG Tour Experience from a friend of mine and I'm so glad I decided to do it. It was absolutely brilliant! I loved it! The guide showed us around the two venues, taking us to the SCG players change rooms (where all the cricket and AFL greats have been), the Allianz Stadium players tunnel, the SCG Museum, the Bradman bar, the members pavilion and we got to walk on the SCG and Allianz Stadium field. It was brilliant! I highly recommend it!
It’s a fabulous tour conducted by Mr. Stuart . He is so very humble & really take care of each & every detail during the tour . Unlike other stadium tour guides, he didn’t rush anywhere & gave ample amount of time for everyone to take as many pics they wish ! Moreover he was very funny with his jokes & kept kids involved in the tour during the entire tour . Highly recommended for all cricket enthusiasts visiting Australia !!
I had booked Children's Holiday Tour and I was impressed by the experience. So, this was a holiday special and my son really loved it. To top it, he got a cricket ball, which he loved. The ticket was priced at $17, which is cheaper than the normal price. My family enjoyed the museum tour and they also got to play in the nets. If you are a cricket fan, its a must visit.
I didn't get tour, I was working at SCG for 2 days, seen a fair bit of stadium. It's nice enough areas e.g. corporate box seats etc. nice modern facilities... just let down by old tacky areas that could do with a spruce up, & it's a huge rabbit Warren, easy to get misdirected/lost. I'm not a huge sports fan, but if you are, you'd enjoy the SCG, good size stadium.
This was absolutely fantastic. I took my boyfriend here as a surprise on his birthday, he loved it, I loved it. Kazz is very knowledgeable and friendly, a really funny guide. She was absolutely wonderful and we appreciate her a lot. Thank you for the birthday present that was a lovely surprise, my boyfriend is so grateful. …
What a fabulous tour! Hugely informative tour guide, with lots of interesting stories. Go behind the scenes into the cricket and rugby dressing rooms, the media boxes, and onto the ground! Museum was really interesting too. Highly recommended for sporting fans, or those interested in getting a feel for a piece of Sydney history.
Was a pleasure to be at the Grounds yesterday we were shown around by Lady called Kazz if I spelt it correctly Info about the traditional ground places where legends had been excellent my son aspiring to be a cricketer loved being in the same room where legends were born Please take your all generations to enjoy the place
I attended the tour today for the first time in decades and I'm glad I did. The new football stadium was not yet included in the tour, but there was more than enough to see at the cricket ground. It has changed so much since I was last there, while still maintaining the wonderful tradition and heritage.
Excellent, the tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable, providing many insights of interest. We saw the inner sanctum of the stadium including media boxes/areas, dressing and warm up rooms and members area. Well worth doing, especially if you're lucky enough to be in a small group as we were.
Make it a point to visit the stadium everytime I visit a new city and the SCG is magical in many ways! So much history to it, the exhibits in the museum, the statues and the views are amazing! The tour guide was amazing and very friendly and knowledgeable and was thorough entertainment.
Really enjoyed the SCG tour. Our tour leader, Ron really knew his stuff, as he should as an ex tv commentator. Plenty of photo opportunities and visited all the places you would want such as the dressing rooms, the long room etc. On the downside, there is no cricket merchandise store.
Tour guide Peter gave an excellent tour of a magnificent cricket ground and everything in between. The museum was a great place to start and walking through areas we don't normally see was fantastic! Highly recommended if on holidays with cricket mad kids.
Did the tour with my dad visited from overseas. I am glad that I did this with him. visited number of places you dont get to go in a game dau Including the ground. I would say if you are a cricket fan this is a must do while in Sydney.
I purchased this tour for my husband. We had a fabulous time. Rod our tour guide was so knowledgeable. The whole tour was really interesting and with Rod adding some great stories it was disappointing when it seemed to finish so soon.
Our tour guide big Rod was fantastic. I have a fairly short concentration span but Rod kept me entertained and informed with all sorts of facts and tales. Really enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend Rod as a guide!
This tour was really well done. Got to see so much you wouldn't otherwise see. And actually being able to step on to the real grass was great. Not being confined to the fake grass like most, if not all other stadiums.
Good tour..... no shop tho. Thought it would be a good idea to have a souvenir shop for iconic posters key rings etc etc. Ron was a good host and was open to questions. Good to see the dressing rooms as well.
Experience the history and glory of SCG through this amazing 90 minute tour. You get a detailed tour of the stadium facility. Our tour guide was awesome and answered all our questions patiently.
As a cricket fan I really enjoyed the tour. Got to see the changerooms, media rooms, members areas and even walk on the edge of the playing surface. Tour guide Rod was great
Visiting Australia from England, this tour was perfect. Losts of Austalian sporting history from our knowledgeable tour guide...including plenty of Ashes chat :-)
Recommend it highly. They take you all around from commentary box to dressing rooms to the ground to their very own museum and lots more. Kids get a souvenir too.
Fabulous tour thanks to the effervescent 'Kaz' who entertained us with her wit and knowledge of the facts and figures of about the Sydney Football Stadium
SCG was absolutely fantastic. Our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend even though I'm an English cricket fan. …
A great location for a tour and even for a non-sports made person very interesting and I highly recommend it to anyone. Very well conducted tours!
Rod was our tour guide. He was well read and v detail oriented. He gave us adequate time for pics and made this tour memorable. Thanka a lot
Intimate tour of the SCG highlighting all of it's history and richness in detail. Tour guide was very passionate about the SCG and cricket!
Breath taking view of the stadium and the pitch. The tour guide's narration of the history and associated emotions were truly wonderful.
Very good tour. Highly recommend for any cricket fan. You get to go into changerooms and see the scg from the members pavilion.
The most iconic sports stadiums located in the heart of Sydney city to enjoy footy, soccer, NRL, cricket with the whole family.
Excellent tour. Very informative guide. Saw a lot more than I thought we would see. Museum was also very good. Lots of history.
It was pretty good. Lots of stuff to do inside. Actually, I had a chance to appear for an interview and the staffs were great.
Playing ground looks good. Food and drinks area ,very poor design and overpriced even for footy grounds . Wouldn't rush back.
Went for Tommy's memorial. Was a lovely well planned event. Everyone were so helpful. Thank you to everyone who helped me.
Very informative and behind the scenes tour of the SCG. Learned so much about cricket and the history of the stadium.
If you are a cricket fan, you will love this. Great experience of being in the same place as your sporting heroes.
A must do for any cricket fan. Great experience. Peter is an amazing host with lots of fun facts and trivia.
Host was great fun and knee her stuff. Lovely Australian history that everyone should see and experience.
Great tour!! You see an amazing amount of the stadium. Very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide too.
Great place, comfortable place to be in. Didn't find enough signage to indicate where toilets were
Went there to renew my membership, staff as always well presented and attentive and helpful
A fun gift experience for my partner and my ten year old girl enjoyed the tour too.
Very factual in a fun way, interesting and the tour guide was amazing!
Rich in history, but also a great merge with the new. Thanks Peter.
