I recently attended a conference in San Francisco and parked my car at the Ellis-O'Farrell Garage overnight. The garage is conveniently located within walking distance of many hotels and conference venues, and the daily maximum rate of $44 is reasonable. I was a little nervous at first because there is no on-site personnel, but I was happy to see that there was increased police patrol during the conference. I had no problems at all, and my car was safe and sound when I returned the next morning. If you're looking for a convenient place to park your car overnight in San Francisco, I recommend the Ellis-O'Farrell Garage. Just be sure to exercise caution and leave no valuables in your car.
I had just parked my car on the second floor at approximately 8:32 pm on Friday 09/15/2023. Within less than half an hour, by 9:00 pm, my brand new Acura MDX was vandalized. The perpetrator broke the driver side rare window and caused damage to both the exterior door and interior leather seat. In addition, two perfumes worth $470, as well as a pair of pants and shoes, were stolen.
Parked overnight and had my Prius passenger broken into. Personal items in the trunk were stolen. Might be better to park at the Marriott vs here. 2 stars because the staff helped tape my window, cleaned up the glass in my car and validated my parking. It’s the least the could do and I appreciate it.
Amazing parking garage. No car break in. Very safe. I entered from Ellis street to charge my car. Ellis street entrance closes after 10 PM, so if you park there, you will have to walk to O’Farrell street to enter the parking garage. I used this parking garage to get to the Warfield Theater.
It closes at night, and this was not prominently displayed. I had to spend the night in the city and pay extra, which absolutely sucked. I did however feel pretty safe in there which is good considering the neighborhood surrounding it, and it was absolutely centrally located.
Car got broken into after only parking there for 2 hours! Parked near the elevator because we figured it would be slightly safer... next time we will just take our chances parking on the street! I mean the alarm had to be going off... and no one noticed?!?
I was worried about parking in the city while my parents were in town visiting for the holidays. We went to the union square area in the city on BLACK FRIDAY for shopping and the tree lighting But it really turned out to be a perfect
AVOID AT ALL COSTS - We've parked our Jeep with tinted windows, had our luggage in the trunk. Parked in front of CCTV and left for 30 minutes to Macy's - Car was broken windows and everything taken - When running to the manager office we
This garage is centrally located and usually quite busy during the day. It has both self and valet park during daytime business hours. Two things to keep in mind. Dont leave your parking ticket in your vehicle as you will need it to pay
I came back from my short shopping trip and paid at the machines before returning to my car. I had quite a few items and it took me a while to load them. When I departed the garage I inserted my paid ticket and there was an additional
It's a great location to reach Union Square and Market Street. I like the early bird special! It's $20 all day if you get in before 9am. This garage is not so large that there are too many nooks where thieves can hide. Also not
Car got broken into. Seems like no matter where you park in SF this is going to happen, it's just a shame you pay $42 to park and it still happens. Staff were lovely and helpful after the event but there is nothing they can do.
I like parkings where you can park the car by your own, having access to your car at any time. Spaces are bit narrow but you can make it even on SUV. The payment is easy given they have both human and automated cashiers.
I like parking here for the convenience of being close to everything in downtown SF, but the spaces are very narrow. Park on the rooftop for better spaces if you don’t want your car get scratched or ding someone else’s
Kinda hard to get in and out because of lots of traffic and pedestrians, and I don't think they could have made the signage any more confusing when you are trying to find the entrance, not the two rental car floors.
Got two hours free parking in the holidays. We thought it was too good to be true, and there must be some got you details. What a surprise! There was free for two hours parking. It's a rare thing in SF.
The location is the only positive attribute. Of the 3 elevators, 2 are constantly out of order. The stairs are dirty. The ticket machines sometimes jam or are out of order.
Target for thieves. Got my car broken into and another was trying to break in as we were walking up to the car
They need to let you know if there are no parking spots left before you spend 30 minutes getting stuck inside!
