Good food but a bit cramped, it feel like they have just tried to fit too many people in here. The night we went (Friday) the tables were so close together that it was difficult for people to get in and out. With a couple less tables the space would feel quite different and I’m sure it would also help improve the service. Edit Gave the place another try this week and unfortunately there was no improvement. The food was ok but all of the entrees and main courses came at the same time, service was very poor and felt that they just wanted to get us served and get us out. The acoustics are terrible in this place and if you sit inside the noise is deafening. Overall a poor experience on two separate occasions, won’t be going back. There are plenty of better Thai Restaurants in the beaches.

I have dined at Sabiang many times and always found food very good. So i was sadly disappointed on sunday 13 March when I dined with my brother visiting from USA and my 84 year old mother, as normal food was great. Problem was 2 of the 7 meals arrived 20 minutes late. booking was 1pm lunch. at 230 we paid and 240pm the lights upstairs were turned off, no warning no announcement no advice that they close at 3pm. Which were aware of and the two late meals had barely finished eating. How Rude and disrespectful Complicated by the fact that 84 year old mother struggled down the stairs with stick in semi darkness just dangerous. 3 Staff sitting back to us when we departed at 245pm did not bother to get up or say thanks and goodbye Will not be back even though food it good

This place really dropped the ball when our sizzling beef came to the table very dry (overcooked) and in something resembling diesel oil. We were famished and we are not complainers so we gave it a go. We left about 40 percent of it as it was just wrong and for $23 was worth reporting to the waitress. Our 2nd meal was lost so decided to leave. On leaving I mentioned to the manager the meal was not acceptable didn't matter to her still charged 23 i said I'm not paying that , she offer half and agreed. The Manager was so rude throughout I've decided i won't be going back. And oh, don't order the duck pancakes because you'll be hard pressed to find the duck. They have a captive market and its beginning to show!

Food is great based on past experience. Website is flawed. Automatically offers promotions on multiple items and when you go to pay it refuses to process the order. Called the restaurant to explain and get help with placing the order and no support was provided. I was repeatedly asked to place the order online despite explaining that the function was not working. I felt like I was seeking support from an automated response answering machine. Disappointed and taking my business else where!! Giving 5 stars for food and 1 for support averaged at 3.please do not offer a website option if you do not support it.

Awful experience! We were so excited to try this place as it was busy all the time. My husband ordered a beer and for starter we ordered dim Sim and Satay chicken, Dim sim were hot from outside and cold from inside with no flavour, satay chicken was just dipped in a sweet peanut sauce which didn’t taste good at all, also I requested for hot water as I don’t drink ice cold water, I reminded them 3 times while we were there and they still didn’t bring it, we paid the bill and left the place. So disappointing!

Normally good (we've eaten there numerous times) but both the duck salad and Thai beef salad were decidedly average....beef overcooked and grey and the duck overcooked, very tough and dry & dressings for both dishes a bit sickly sweet. We brought in it to their attention but I think all they thought about was getting the money (never mind repeat bookings!). Disappointed and we'll delay a repeat visit. Otherwise service was OK but mains came out before we'd even finished our starters! Hello Sa Biang.....timing & quality control will help you with customer satisfaction!

This casual little place is a gem! We have been twice during our stay in Avalon. Both times the food and service has been perfect! Beautiful, fresh food, fast and thoughtful service and a great atmosphere whether you eat indoors or out! Don’t miss the mango and sticky rice for dessert! Delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant!

Ordered a massamam lamb shank and when they delivered it to my house in a Chinese container it was stone cold. Put in the microwave for 2 mins and the inside of the shank was completely frozen still. Called up and told them and the person on the phone didn’t even care and asked if I’d like a new one and if so bring them the old one. I can’t believe how it turned out I expected atleast a refund. I’ve been buying food from here for a while not happy jan

We used to be regulars here but about 3 months ago we noticed a huge change for the worse. Drink servings were much smaller, the food not as hot, vegetables soggy and tasted as if it had been sitting for while. We won't be going back, sadly. A shame as it used to be really good.

Monday night takeaway food poisoning with the grilled salmon fillet served on salad. Cold hard salmon smelt strong fishy…had 2 mouthfuls, ate the far from fresh salad…silly I shouldn’t have. $29 and sill feeling not right. Not clean in kitchen… Bacteria I imagine I’m sorry to say this but have to!

Any restaurant who thinks it's OK to have a physical key to an offsite bathroom shouldn't be in business at all. Everyone takes it to the bathroom, does their business, comes back with the key and hands it to the staff who are serving customers or preparing food. It's disgusting. What kind of hygiene standards do they have in general?

Usually when I go to sabiang Thai the food is very tasty but last night I got delivery and they ended up sending me the wrong thing. They came back and delivered the right meal. It didn't taste as good as usual. The food made me and my partner feel sick all night and I don't think I will be going back there after this experience.

Pad Kee Mao is too hot for me and my girlfriends white bread, chai latte sipping palate’s. This really needs a spice warning. I give it 4/5 hot chilli rating with a jalapeño thrown in for measure. White people need not apply when it comes to this bowl of Satan spice. Attached is a photo of the dish

A lovely place with quick and friendly service. The dishes all taste delicious. The staff went above and beyond to adapt a stir fry into a vegan dish for my mum- which is admittedly not easy in the Thai cuisine.

Good Aussie style Thai at the right price. Pad Thai with prawns etc. They have their own home brewed beer too. It’s good.unfortunately a second visit and Wonton noodle soup disappointing. Packet wontons flavourless liquid and raw veg. 2 min noodles. It’s so easy to make a good stock.

Really enjoyed our visits here. The street food segment of the menu was my favourite, particularly the grilled chicken on papaya salad. Ask for a table outside but get there early as it seemed pretty full most nights. Plenty of options on the menu for the kids too.

Really tasty food, decently sized portions, and nice interior. However, a waitress spilled a glass of wine all over one person in our party, and we weren't offered any compensation, or any discount or anything...

Food is consistently good and quick. Service is great and delivery charges are super reasonable when ordering direct from their site.

Nice decor, lots of atmosphere, ... however the main course came together with the starter and the pork belly from the Kana Moo Grob was drawning in an undefinable type of sauce that kills any kind of appetite.

Takeaway. I mean, it’s not terrible. The flavours are good, the produce looks good, but I’m not left with a burning desire to get food from there again. We’d likely go back to ChaRice in Newport.

Really tasty thai. Strongly recommend you try it out. It’s nice with a place in the shadow when the sun gets to hot.

A great spot in Avalon. The veggie pad se ew was very tasty and the duck curry was incredible - really moist flavoursome duck in a beautiful fragrant sauce. Good service and relaxed ambience.

I asked for my pad see ew vegan (I have been there many times and they always do it for me) and today there was egg through it and the word "veagan" written on the order. Not going back.

Decent portion for the price. Good variety on the menu. Food was good quality and also very delicious

I ordered a slow cooked beef noodle soup. It came with high quality meat in a nice broth, and a lot of vege. Very happy with that, and it's worth the price.
