I don't really write reviews here unless I genuinely believe the business is exceptional and needs to be promoted. This is one of those times. I had the pleasure of joining My on her super niche food tour and it is absolutely a must do. I had such a good experience that I booked a private tour to the Cu Chi tunnels the next day and again had an amazing day. Both experiences were fun, interesting, informative, unique and most importantly tailored around what I wanted to eat, see and do. What makes a tour great isn't necessarily the places you go, the food you eat or even what you experience. Sure they are all important parts but what really makes the tour special is the guide, and My is a special guide. My is kind, funny, speaks perfect English (and some Korean), knows about her culture and history and goes above and beyond to make sure her guest is entertained and getting what they want out of the tour. She genuinely works really hard and you never feel like you are just another customer with her, in fact I honestly consider her my friend after our experiences together. A shoutout to Happy who is the other guide that I met very briefly and also seems like a super knowledgeable and enthusiastic guy and I'm sure would be amazing to tour with. If you ever find yourself travelling to Ho Chi Minh City and you're even contemplating booking a tour then trust me and book with these guys, they're up and coming, hard-working, genuinely good people. You will not regret it!

We have been all over SE Asia and Ho Chi Minh City was our favorite stop thanks to Happy and Mei Mei. We did the morning motorbike breakfast tour with Mei Mei and had the best time! Riding on motorbikes, we got to see so much of the city. She brought us to so many local spots and we tried food we may not have even known about otherwise! It’s a great activity to start your trip on! And she knew so much about the history and provided great context. And she accommodated our dietary restrictions. Because of the amazing time we had, we had to book another tour with Happy Tours, and went to see the Cu Chi Tunnels with Happy. It was an AWESOME day. He arranged everything—pickup from our hotel, snacks, tickets! We didn’t have to do a thing! And he knew so much about the historical background and answered all our questions. It was so impressive how much he knew! And he is so funny and just a great guy all around! We didn’t want to stop hanging out with him. Both Happy and Mei Mei spoke amazing English and were so kind. And they also provided us with recommendations for bars, massages, manicure spots, etc. for the rest of our trip. I got the best manicure ever! I truly could not recommend them enough. Our trip would’ve not been the same without meeting Happy and Mei Mei. We’ve tried to find similar people/tours in other countries, but nothing compares to Saigon Happy Tours. Book them! You will not regret it!!!

I have book about 4 to 5 tours with Happy and Mei. The first time I went to Saigon I choose to book a tour with Happy and it has been the best desicion ever!! Started from that day every time I'm there I will only call them to show me around. Happy and Mei are very easy going people. They took me to the most local places possible. Happy is very knowledgeable about history and everything related to his country but also he knows so much about everyone's country. He always have a fact to share. Thanks to them I was able to fall in love with Vietnam, Vietnam food, Vietnamese culture, Vietnamese people. As Vietnamese is a hard language *for me at least* they always make my time in Vietnam easy. Mei even took me to a head massage salon!!! It was amazing. They cooked for me so I got to experience the real Vietnamese home food. I only have good this to say about them and the service they offer. They are very professional but yet very friendly♡ You HAVE to book a tour with me, trust me, you won't regret it ^^ See you soon again! Can't wait to see what they will show me next time!

Having never really done a tour myself, I came into this not knowing what to expect. Happy and Mei Mei’s ability to make you feel comfortable with them is such a great skill that is essential to making you feel the warmth of a new place that you’re visiting. I personally took the Super Niche Food Tour with my sister—as aspiring foodies ourselves. This experience allowed me to fully understand Vietnamese food and culture. Happy’s expertise in weaving the importance of food and Vietnamese culture has really made this experience worthwhile. The claims of being unable to see other tourists while out eating is very true. Overall, I enjoyed my experience with Saigon Happy Tour. I would recommend their services to all those who’d want to experience Saigon like how locals would. The best tour guide we’ve ever had! We went on the Cu Chi Tunnels tour & the Mekong tour & we were so impressed not only by Happy’s knowledge, but by his preparation, hospitality, his vibe and how he made us feel so comfortable. He took care of us so well and especially my 2 year old girl. My biggest concern when it comes to tours like these is the tour guide’s english speaking skill and communication. Happy was AMAZING. We felt like we’ve known each other as friends and not just another one of his customers. He is so passionate about what he does & it makes all the differences. I highly recommend Saigon Happy Tour to literally every single one of the tourists that comes to Hochiminh City. If you're planning on visiting Ho Chi Minh, book a tour with Happy and My My now! I did a food tour and a tour to the Cu Chi Tunnels and they were definitely the highlights of my trip. The food was so delicious and they took us to spots to try things I never would've found on my own. A day later, Happy took me to the less visited part of the Cu Chi Tunnels so we could avoid the hoards of tourists. He gave me so much more insight on the history and made it so much more special. Request to go by motorbike, you won't regret it! Both Happy and My My are so friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable, I felt like I was just hanging out with friends. My trip to HCM would not have been half as memorable without these two experiences!

What a great tasty, and educational experience! I loved the freshness of all the ingredients, The fried ice cream, Bánh got with coconut sauce was an explosion of flavors that I had not yet tasted in Vietnam. Or the slightly gingerly duck soup✌️yam Thank you, guys, for sharing with us your city, and food, and supporting local small vendors! The next day we booked the Cu Chi tour to see the tunnels and it was such an amazing, professional, and educational experience! And whoever is reading this review, stop looking for another tour cause this is the best one + You will meet these guys who will take great care of you fill your belly with love, and share with you the history of Vietnam, especially the South.

This private tour starts in the morning, visiting super local restaurant for breakfast Our guide Happy keeps feeding us with famtastic local cuisine ranging from coffee, bread, etc... and whatever we asked for Their driving was perfect and we felt confortable on board the whole time. The ride both consists of visiting narrow sideways and speeding at expressways. We also had unplanned random stops to grab some fruits, etc. Happy took care of us so much and it didn't feel like we were on a tour, but we were just hanging out with close friends. He was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the local culture and food. 100% recommended

The best thing to do in a new city, in my opinion, is taking a food tour with a local guide to taste the best food spots. I went on a breakfast food tour with saigonhappytour and enjoyed every second of it. We tried many different foods and drinks (I added pictures of some), my favourite was Bo Ne (sizzling beef), and there were no other tourists in sight. Afterwards they showed us a Buddhist Temple far away from the crowds, too. Happy and his team have set up an excellent tour, with great food and great company. You leave feeling like you made new friends and have learned something about the food you ate and the city you're in.

Had an amazing time doing a private foodie tour with Happy. He was well spoken, fluent and knowledgeable. All food locations chosen were on point with the best local foods. This is not your run of the mill tour service in Saigon. The guide was so passionate about his job, supporting local vendors and taking care of his guests. I included a picture of one of my favourite foods on the tour! Wish I knew about this local business sooner as I know they have multiple tours to for sight seeing, breakfast tours and out to the Mekong/Cu Chi Tunnels. Will definitely be booking with Saigon Happy Tours the next time I’m here!

Happy and his associate punctually picked us up from our accommodation. We were thoroughly surprised to get a taste of HCMC through an experienced localite. Not only were we introduced to the every day lives of the city but were also provided authentic foods and insights. For me personally, the cherry on the cake was a visit to a cat cafe and the wonderful suggestions received. This tour is true to its word in that there were zero tourists in the places we visited. Highly recommended!

We went on the 'Rustic Zero Tourist Mekong Tour' and true to it's name, we saw hardly any tourists and really felt we had an authentic experience! Highlights of the day included exploring a local market, rowing through the delta and a motorbike ride through the fruit plantation and villages! We got to meet with a local guide and meet his family who cooked us a delicious lunch all made from vegetables and fruit grown locally! He was so friendly and knowledgeable. Book this tour!

Everywhere we went and everything we did - I didn’t see another single tourist. Truly local places. It’s absolutely breathtaking how much Saigon has to offer. Friends asked if I got a chance to do anything special. I did more than everything I could have ever hoped to do. Such authenticity is rare and I think Happy deserves more attention.

This is a fantastic tour, we can highly recommend this experience with My. We had the best time, the girls are super friendly and easy to talk to. She took us to hidden gems of the city with the best food. We could really immerse into the local world of Ho Chi Minh. She is very knowledged about the history and could tell us stories about the city and the locals. The moped ride was very safe and we really enjoyed it.

One of the finest experiences we had during our entire 4 weeks trip in Vietnam. Happy made our time in Ho Chi Minh really special. We had a special connection to every food we ate as we understood its history and how best to eat it. And zipping around the city following him on a bike was part of the fun experience. We do the tour very spontaneous and happy (the real name ) replied to us quickly and few hours later we had a very nice tour around Saigon with a bike and a lot of nice food!
