"Ordinarily I am diplomatic man and would not dabble in verbal assault, but today I clamber on to my hands and knees and beg of you; do not use this branch"
"I have a strong Diskining for this petrol station and it's lack of customer service this isn't an isolated report I've contacted customer service and spoken to the branch manager numerous times yeah I always have the same issue where staff refuse to scan a Nectar card and instead decide to try and type it in as they don't have the skills to use a barcode scanner"
"Funnily enough, rather than choosing to stop here, it is often your vehicle that insists you make such a stop"
"Often come here after (sometimes before) football"
"Great and convenient shop on lower Richmond road"
Ordinarily I am diplomatic man and would not dabble in verbal assault, but today I clamber on to my hands and knees and beg of you; do not use this branch. Being a local branch, it suffers from all the gross indignities a local branch falls foul of and it would appear that Express pricing has crossed over into the price of petrol as well; petrol is £1.38 in this branch when in North Cheam the price is £1.34 (I round up). The result is an all-in-all obnoxious branch that is utterly unrepresentative of Sainsbury's as a whole. For a Sainsbury's and not garbage there is one in Upper Richmond Road but that is a local branch and thus I would steer clear of it. Go to Putney itself; there is a big Sainsbury's there. For a petrol station, there is a BP, Shell and Esso within a 1.5 mile radius and for a Sainsbury's petrol station use Collier's Wood or Nine Elms.
I have a strong Diskining for this petrol station and it's lack of customer service this isn't an isolated report I've contacted customer service and spoken to the branch manager numerous times yeah I always have the same issue where staff refuse to scan a Nectar card and instead decide to try and type it in as they don't have the skills to use a barcode scanner. This has continued for Some time and still arent above to Train people to scan a barcode Surely Scanning items is lesson 1 for these people.
Funnily enough, rather than choosing to stop here, it is often your vehicle that insists you make such a stop. Whilst that need is easily fulfilled, the shop offer a restricted range of what Mr Sainsbury might make a profit on, of things you might require and often stuff you do not need, but when your eye is caught, out of a full sized supermarket, you feel you need. Such is the lure of advertising and product placement that you become a willing victim to retail psychology.
Often come here after (sometimes before) football. I love the fact there’s a toilet there, that can be very useful. Only negative on that is the floor can get wet, but I think this is due to a sink that is very small and can’t cope with the speed and force that the water comes out at. We buy our snacks here and there’s a handy costa machine. Oh, and the staff are always very friendly and helpful!
Great and convenient shop on lower Richmond road. Has most of the stuff you need or the basics off it. Wouldn't go here for all your shopping but definitely a good spot to top up on snacks or fuel. Most of the staff are happy but some can be rude and give their minimal attention
Where the petrol at? This petrol station is closed for whoever is looking for some. They say don't panic but I been to four different ones in the area and they are all shut. Great.
A decently priced petrol station with long reach hoses. Meaning you can fill up on any pump. Also the added benefit of being a Sainsbury's Local which is also decently stocked.
Low quality service, there were 2 guys in the shop and instead of serving me carried on doing something else pretending they didn't see me for 5 minutes. Only use if necessary.
Simple and effective. As its a local it's more expensive than the larger one in town but if you're only after a top up its clean, has all the basics and will be open later.
Wanted to pay for petrol in Garage and the manager told me I had to join the queue of 10 people buying food!!!! You are a garage I'm not going to buy petrol here again
Listed as 24 hours online but the few times I e come here late they say it’s closed for ‘maintenance’ both times. Update the opening hours.
Good grocery section in this petrol station. You could stop off here and buy a chicken to roast plus get all the vegetables you need!
Your typical Sainsbury's local - you have to pay about 15p extra on things though. Good selection of goods for a petrol station.
The cashier is too lazy to give me petrol tonight. I don’t understand why is so hard to refill the car on the way home.
Great place for buying petrol! Air free for tyres unlike some places & staff are very efficient friendly nice people.
I've always found this station to be as cheap or cheaper than other petrol stations in the area.
It's a petrol station, some of the nightshift staff are inattentive and keep customers waiting.
