My experience at salisbury east has been nothing short of disappointing. It is disheartening to attend a school that prides itself on its diversity but falls egregiously short when it comes to treating everyone equally. Instead, what I have witnessed is a system rife with racism and discrimination. One of the most glaring issues I encountered was the blatant favoritism shown towards certain groups while others were pushed aside. It was evident that some students received preferential treatment solely based on their ethnicity or social background. This favoritism manifested in various ways, from grading disparities to opportunities for extracurricular activities. It's disheartening to see a school that should be a haven of fairness and learning perpetuate such injustice. The instances of racism were not isolated incidents but rather part of a distressing pattern. Microaggressions, insensitive remarks, and prejudiced behavior were disturbingly common, making many students of color feel marginalized and unwelcome. The school's failure to address these issues effectively further perpetuated a hostile environment. What's more concerning is the lack of a robust anti-racism education program within the school. It is vital for educational institutions to promote awareness, inclusivity, and empathy among their students. Sadly, salisbury east falls far short in this regard, and this contributes to the perpetuation of racist attitudes and behaviors. In conclusion, my time at salisbury east high school has been marred by a deeply disheartening experience of inequality and racism. It is imperative for the school administration to take immediate and substantial steps to rectify these issues, create a more inclusive environment, and truly live up to the ideals of diversity and equality that it claims to uphold. Until then, I cannot in good conscience recommend this school to anyone seeking an equitable and welcoming educational experience.

It's unfortunate that a minority of school students and external people are causing so many problems at this school, it got to a point where the school wiped their hands in regards to my childs constant bullying he was receiving through out school hours and after school hours. The bullies would follow my teen into the toilet to carry out attacks amongst others places, this alone is a great reason to bring back corporal punishment eg the cane. All the school responds with is get the police involved, bullying has got to this point due to a failure of the education system being stopped from enforcing any type of punishment for the offenders.

The school alone is great SEAL even better, gives the students a second chance with there schooling and is such a better environment compared to mainstream. They put more time and thought into there students and there students work and are overall exceptional. Think the school needs to ease up a lot on uniform and just think more on the positive side that the students are actually at school. Being a public school I don’t see the need for such harsh rules around uniform.

I was a former student here in the 90s, but boy, has this school changed. The upgrades and improvements made since my time as a student, really show SEHS has invested in student facilities and beautifying the grounds. Students now have access to drones, 3D printers, and some of the latest IT innovations. This review is based on the open day I attended in 2018, not on my time as a student in the 90s.

My experience with this highschool was good, the teachers were great, i had support while i was there, but i was disappointed that they didn't want to support me after graduating, I asked if i could volunteer with the school to gain experience and they gave me the crappiest response.

This schools students are disrespectful and are not treating other schools respectfully. And are over exaggerating their opinions on other schools over small pointless grudges.

A lot of issues have happened at this school where Police have been involved but lately I haven't seen any issues for a while now which is good.

Teachers are willing to help the ones that want to learn. Most of the teachers are very friendly and approachable.

We have an international student staying with us this year. He will be well taken care of at Salisbury East HS.
