Is a good places to have a walk after meals. It is well maintained and have clear pathway, located besides the apartments and units buidings. The atmosphere insides is calm and have many seating areas for picnics or sitting there to relax yourself. We even walked in to visit the community garden sites and saw a chicken. More
A place for a walk through mangrove trees. The setup of the boardwalk is fine. A bit too much rubbish about to make any claims this is a pristine environment. I have noticed too many bike riders of a morning. They totally ignore the signs to walk rather than ride.
Nice nature reserve that spans over quite a big area. Lots of walking paths and a safe place to bring young children. Unfortunately the one toilet amenity we could find was out of order. Would encourage the council to install more toilets throughout the park.
Looks like just a large flat piece of grass. Small play area. All that is good. The best bit is finding the walking/bike paths which are a bit hidden but gets you in amongst the swamp/river area. Hit the paths and have a great outdoor experience
Good place to visit. Please take your family and kids if you have, they will definitely have fun and enjoy this point of Sydney. Don't take your privet vehicles, try to catch local trains or buses or transportations near by. Highly recommended.
Good fishing beware large bullsharks release pups up in this part of georges river system and they travel right up into freshwater creeks too . Do not swim your dogs in the area and kids no go zone too it's always murky and they can go into
Walked the loop around the base of the large domestic waste dump that is capped with a metre or so of soil / grass. Hadn't realised what it was until noticing the off-gassing stations at various locations and googling the parks history.
Salt pan Reserve it's a beautiful place to visit you need to go there and see fear self why it's called salt pan Reserve it's not because of the salt that's there and it's not because it's shaped like a pan it is simply due to all the
This was a surprise find in the area. Quiet wetland area, situated under major roads in places, and backing onto houses and industrial buildings in Canterbury Bankstown area in the George’s River catchment . We began the walk from Gow
I ride push bikes. When I get to salt pan creek I walk my bike on the wooden boards. I still enjoy it as it's part of the adventure. As of October 2021, the east west bridge is closed due to a fire. You have to detour nearly 2km.
Salt Pan Creek has Reserves all along it - mostly wetlands with boarded tracks n bridges u can walk along & go from park to park with ovals, duck ponds, bbq areas, etc along the way. Seen a lot of people fishing as well.
Very nice walking track, creek, shrubs, wild life and native plants. The apartment complex near by has a lovely community garden and water feature. The total circle is 14km, good for walking or jogging. More
Pleasant reserve that's good for a walk and bring kids to the park during the day. Is opposite a housing commission area. Connects to Salt Pan Creek walk and not to far from the wetlands
The place is excellent. But bit difficult to find out exact location, google map shows different way to access. Best way to go near the community hall entrance.
Wow such an awesome walk on Saturday 13th the rain was unreal, it won't allow me to put the video up but the walk was filled with waterfalls ❤️
Excellent place to go for long walks. Can get 20k loops easy. The walkways are a bit run down, and several bridges were destroyed and never
Good walking track, about 5 km loop walk from Riverwood Community Centre. But the creek water is not very clean and sometime smelly.
Need Lots of improvement. Its a beautiful place to see the sunset. Just need some landscaping like every other park in Sydney has.
Didn't know that one could find such a serene place in a busy city like Sydney. Beautiful place. Can spend a good 1.5 hrs walking.
I love riding my bike along the boardwalks of this calming mangroves area. Just take care on the bends! Can be mossy slippery
Love this walking track. Great place to let the kids loose on their bikes and scooters, or for a quiet, calming walk.
Council keeps the grounds and plants neat and tidy but infrastructure needs an overhaul.

Good place for walking. Some of the track is being fixed still due to idiots burning it so be aware of that.
Always a good place to fly dr9nes and do other activities that take a large area without people around
Definitely feels like we are not in the City anymore Toto. Beautiful untouched Mushy scenery.
Great view and very nice path for relaxing stroll and exercise.
Good walk but a tonne of litter.
