Stopped here on our way home from a long trip and OMG the Chicken Souvlaki is the best I have ever tasted! The garlic sauce was right through it and not just one the first bite. I will be back even if it means traveling from Pakenham Upper! The chips are awesome too.

The food is good but if you have any dietary restrictions this place is not worth going to. Twice in a row now I've requested something to not include bacon which I've been informed can easily be done and twice I've watched them put bacon in the burger, get reminded by their co-worker of no bacon and take it out out of view and then bring it over. Thankfully I'm not allergic but if you are I would not advise coming here as they avoid informing you of the mix up

love this place. generous serving of fried chicken and chips and yummy gravy as a side. generously salted chips (which i love), and super flavourful big pieces of chicken all for a good price. had it once in 2019 and have just recently returned and it’s as good as i remembered it. they now have eftpos which is super handy!

Went there yesterday as the chickens and dimsims look yum from the window, and boy..indeed they are! The fried chicken nearly tastes like KFC. Although, a little bit on the salty side, We would definitely come back again!! Hopefully, they can accept EFTPOS next time, but if you find yourself with no cash, theres an ATM beside the store anyway!

Really nice people inside but the food was terrible. Potato cake tasted like oil hadnt been changed. Fried chicken was really odd tasting and overall food was bland, lacked seasoning and unedible. Chicken ceaser wrap was the pick of the bunch but was average at best

The quality of Sammys is always consistent which is a rarity with many takeaway outlets. Prices are still so reasonable for the quality and quantity of food that they serve. The only thing I'm not a big fan of is the souvlaki, but that's just preference.

One of the best meal we had in this region while on holiday. We had half the chicken along with a generous serving of of potatoes and vegetables. The chicken was packed with flavours and had a nice charred taste from the charcoal cooking style. Glad we chose this over the usual roasted chicken at the supermarket.

Me, my sister and my dad often come here for a feed when we're at the shopping centre. The food never fails to meet our standards - absoloutley delish! Also must credit the kind man that's always happy to take our order, he gets the job done very well. Always coming back for more, thank you Sammy's! More

We recently had a 50 person bux and Sammys catered for us. The food was top notch and all dealings with the staff were professional and helpful. I highly recommend the lamb and the chicken. Also, the falafel vego option was great! Thanks Sammys for helping to make our event a yummy success!

We get takeaway from here every so often, but not sure what happened tonight, Fathers Day, our fried chicken was luke warm and very dry. Even the coating seemed leathery, like it was just sitting in the bain marre. Not enjoyable and disappointing. On the other hand, chips were yummy!

Best Charcoal Chicken shop in the Valley!!! The staff are amazing and the food is absolutely awesome!! Very honest owners!! I’ left my wallet behind with around $600 in it , they rang me and told me that I’d left it behind.... soooo greatfull. Can not recommend this shop enough!!!

Dropped in as was driving through. My word, this place knows how you do take-away food proper these days. Salads were super fresh, chips were delicious, and burger was a monumental tower, at half the price you'd expect in the city for similar. Highly recommended if in the area

Good food, but no eftpos, cash only ! Very disappointing, 90% of people don’t carry cash, I go past all the time and think “I’ll grab some chicken” but then remember I don’t have any Cash on me and don’t have time to get cash out, so I go to bakery next door. Get an eftpos….

Highly recommend this place! Staff are lovely. The food is exceptional for what it is. The chips and gravy is the best! Sometimes there can be a wait due to the amount of people ordering but that just proves how good it is. Best charcoal chicken place I've been too.

Maybe new staff today? Staff seemed confused, chicken was dry like it had been there for most of the day. Someone had forgotten to put chips on so there was also a long wait, you just need to get three things right, service, chicken and chips.

Best Ive had in a long time food was cooked well and fresh salad was fresh and great. Staff all very friendly and very well priced

A pleasure to be a patron of this business ... Friendly service, good range in their menu. My experience today was excellent ... Wedges were hot, fresh and incredibly tasty. Definitely worth another visit - next time I'm down from Sydney!

No EFPOS? :/ I didn't have cash on me so I couldn't order here. I'm a tourist, most people are shopping with card these days. Hope they get efpos so they stop losing customers. I believe people the food looks good, if you can order it!

This was an accidental discovery for a souvlaki, and they did an excellent lamb souvlaki with lamb cooked over charcoal. The souvi combo is great value and chips are a huge serve and done well. Owner was super friendly. Recommend.

Worst chicken I've ever had. Chicken looked like a rock I had pulled from my garden. Dim sims were tasteless, chips were over salted. They don't even have eftpos, it's 2017!! Get with the times!! Google a decent chicken recipie!!!

This place does gluten free! Gluten free charcoal chicken, chips, and some gluten free salad. Plus the staff are super lovely, service is always fast and friendly, and the food is delicious

Great Chicken rolls here, and a good variety of other meal variations. Plenty of parking behind Coles for vehicles with trailers put this business in a good location.

Amazing charcoal chicken !!! Love the small chicken and chips pack and the shredded chicken burger. And the owners are super friendly and poilet with amazing service.

Good schnitzel burgers. Get them quite often and they seem to be overpowered with Mayo which turns the burger into a bit of a mess. Just need to ease up on the mayo

Sammy's has great food. There Lamb souvlakis are absolutely amazing..Actually the best in healesville. Great prices and absolutely amazing staff. Highly recommend.
