They were accommodating to all our needs, they were understanding and provided so much especially when we felt lost and grieving they made everything function smoothly. They were on top of everything and available to answer any question, even after hours I could call and Michael always answered the phone. The whole staff was amazing, the experience was great especially when our whole family was going through a heartbreaking ❤️‍ moment. Their prices are affordable and we were able to have everything setup at the location. They allowed us to utilize any of their equipment, they let us have mariachis and setup for food out in the parking lot it was nice to be able to give our Mother a beautiful service. The day I picked up my Moms ashes Brenda greeted me at the door with a beautiful smile, she was so kind and she shared her story with me, it warmed my heart and I felt a connection, she new the pain that I was going through and that gave comfort that the pain shall pass. This review is long overdue. We lost our grandmother weeks before shelter in place in Feb 2020. After a few consultation with other funeral services in the area, we decided to hire San Jose Funeral Service to arrange our grandmother's funeral. Mike, Ben & the entire staff at San Jose Funeral Service was absolutely amazing. They were kind, gracious and helpful during the entire process. Mike went above and beyond and contacted the interment/burial site in Southern California on our behalf. Mike also assisted in getting an error on the death certificate corrected. The day of the cremation, Ben chaperoned us to the cremation site and was with us the entire time. Planning for a funeral service is not easy as there are many details to consider. San Jose Funeral service was flexible and accommodated all of our requests. This establishment helped my family tremendously during our time of need. Mike, Ben, Candy (thank you all for everything) were all extremely wonderful, went above and beyond my expectations. What makes this place great is that they are definitely here to help you and your family. They don't try to do a sales pitch like a car salesman would. They made me and family feel like they truly cared for our loss. I was not aware that they were going to be there at the mass and at the cemetery. They helped explain what we must do when entering the church, once inside, exiting, and at the cemetery, you name it. They literally helped us every step of the way. We held my Dad’s funeral through SJ Funeral service. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. I called often with a lot of questions and never felt like I was bothering anyone. The VA office never came through with my Dad’s paperwork so we couldn’t have military honors at his funeral so Sheila and Victoria went above and beyond to make sure that he was recognized as a veteran at his funeral. I appreciate every one of the staff here!

We had to give this place 5 stars we recently lost my mother in law and we went here mr Michael and his staff help out so much by working whit us and helping us in this hard times they got her ready and did her make up she look stunning like a godess that she was and the young gentleman that was there at the memorial on 02/12/2022 he was very nice thank you so much

More of a suggestion rather than a complaint. We just finished up a funeral for a loved one and the employees kept opening and closing their metal door to the employee office every 3-5 minutes. Not sure if your team is aware of the constant noise distraction that causes for a funeral service, but I would definitely try to remedy a solution.

Preparing funeral services for a loved one is unimaginable. My mother passed away and there was no way I could have put it all together. Michael Brown and the staff are wonderful. Thanks to their service, my father-in-law was sent back and buried in Vietnam successfully after the funeral service in the U.S. The whole process was peace of mind. It sounds weird, but I strongly recommend their service to anyone needing to send their loved one back to Vietnam.
