If you are interested in trying out the most disgusting, dry and half cooked food you must visit Sandwich Baron Randburg. They are absolute professionals in lies, arrogance, pathetic attitudes! I ordered 2x the giant baked potatoes with the creamy peri peri chicken livers. Over an hour after placing my order I called to follow up on it only to find out that my order was forgotten about and only prepared when I called after the second time. The attached picture says it all..... Apart from the Livers being super dry without any cream or sauce, the potatoes were not fully cooked. Instead of the owner of that branch sorting out the issue, she said that I should order from another branch if I am not happy with her food!!!! *SHOCKED* Hopefully the Sandwich Baron Head Office can get their Randburg branch under control before they tarnish the Sandwich Baron name. If only there was an option to rate on negative stars, there would certainly not be enough to explain my experience with the stated store.

If you want to lose some extra weight, try anything with chicken livers at their Randburg branch. Guaranteed to get FOOD POISONING and lose 3-5kg in one night. I will not be ordering from you again. When you order at 11:00, you get your food at 13:30. I'm in Randburg!! The drivers include their own tip when dealing with card payments. A R40 order becomes a R50 order because they'll hold the card machine and tell you to tap because of covid-19 regulations. A toasted cheese, mozzarella, feta with extra banana came without banana and I was still charged for the banana. How are you still operating? Dealing with the complaints department is also a nightmare.

This is my second review after giving this branch another chance. Placed our order at 9:54 and arrived at 11:09. We are 10 minutes away. My C&T sandwich was so squashed the cap from my cool drink had more girth. Little to no filling. The Chicken-Mayo & Bacon French was a sorry excuse. I honestly think a child could have done a better job. Emailing Edmund is useless and we have not received a response from him for weeks since the last disaster. Very surprised you are still open with this kind of service.

So I ordered a banting breakfast and a sandwich for my daughter at 9.03....... It is now 10.44 and still nothing. I have phoned twice and my food is still not here....... This is by no means a reflection on the staff serving us, but rather Management who don't provide them with enough drivers!!!! Update as at 11.06 - still no food....... Have emailed Edmund - no response

Rip off central! Charging different pricing on their site, to UBER eats and in store? Owner really needs to sort things out here. I was in the area and thought, hmmm let me grab a good old foot long from SB for old time sakes.... guess what. "Sorry... no french bread" what a joke. Staff hanging over the counters on their cellphones not giving a ****. There is a Food Lovers Market in the same centre! Another classic down the drain, a shame really.

My company often places large order with this sandwich baron and every single last person always enjoys the quality of the food! The food is always amazing, the only note that we all have is the delivery time - The last 3 orders have taken over an hour, today in particular it has been an hour and 40 minutes since the order was placed. I would highly recommend the food here, I would just maybe suggest more drivers to speed up delivery.

Got to sandwich baron - Ferndale on Republic 30 minutes prior to closing time on a Saturday. No one was at the counter to welcome patrons. Had go to through the doorway to look for someone to get service. A lady from the back eventually came through, she refused to take my order, stating that we are closing. I then took my business elsewhere. No service, bad staff and clearly poor quality in food. Not even worth a star.

Terrible! Placed an order for platters for delivery at 10am A Week ago. Today at 10am, not a word from them, so I called. The drivers are all not in yet, they said. They apologize. Driver will be out in five minutes. Thirty minutes later I collected the order myself, they were still making it! The driver story was a a lie, there were five drivers outside just waiting. I was late to the event with the food.

A regular but this morning I was completely unimpressed. Bread was stale, filling was so little! And then I found a hair in the food while I was chewing! Guys, you have to remember we are paying R60 for a sandwich, the same money can get you a whole meal at a different fast food place, so that sandwich better be good!

What an absolute pleasure. I am pregnant, hungry, irritable and hormonal and I call for a delivery and a Gem of a man answers and just is so friendly and makes my day. I experience this kind of service every time I call the Strijdom Park branch. PS. The food is divine every time!

Terrible delivery service. Food took forever to arrive. Eventually had to call the store and the person operating the phone was possibly the least helpful human being on planet Earth. I wish I could say the food was good, but it never arrived so I have no idea. . .

As I write this it has been 2 hours since I placed my order for two toasted sandwiches and it has still not arrived. This is the most disappointing experience I have ever had ordering food. It took 2 and half hours to be delivered, cold as ICE and Dry as hell.

Worst sandwich ever bread was rock hard a plain peanutbutter sandwich tastes better than what i got. Ordered bacon chicken mayo hardly got any chicken. Worst place ever

Pathetic, Cancelled my order which was over an hour late. Whereas the supposed turn-around time is 40min to 50min. Never ordering our staff meals here ever again.

A bit rundown with overpriced sandwiches, Sandwich Baron still offers excellent quality in food. I recommend ordering for free delivery rather than waiting.

Order is 1 hour and 33 mins late. Still no show. Called shop and they cant get hold of the driver. We are 10 mins away from the shop.

I think that they use a teaspoon to put chicken mayo on the toasted sammie - very expensive for the minimal filling you get.
