We visited the clinic to ask the GP to check my son’s moles as I was concerned moles appeared on his body. One Asian female doctor inspected the his skin and then said she will go to find the equipment to perform a skin check and left the room, few minutes later on her return, she said that she didn’t located the equipment but she believed the moles are normal and fine. Then send us off, and charged full fees for a 10 years old boy without doing any physical check. After we paid the bill, the clinic receptionist told us there was a Medicare error so we can’t claim the rebate, I have to contact Medicare by myself to make the claim. The experience was awful.

Dr. Lachlan Fieldhouse helped save my life, not only that he has helped me start to become the person I always wanted to be. Out of all the doctors, psychologists, psychiatrists, shaman etc you name it, that I've ever seen; he is without a shadow of a doubt the best and most empathetic. As a new patient, the arranging the appointment was straightforward and pretty quick. The receptionists and Dr Barbara Ngai were nice. I do believe that my appointment (a double appointment equating to 30 minutes all up and about $180 without rebate) could have covered the entire check-up I needed, but unfortunately, I was told I need to book an additional double appointment. As a student, money is limited and every cent counts. However, I do understand that doctors have busy schedules in Tasmania, and things don't always go smoothly. All-in-all, a great experience, I recommend.

Always very happy with our GP, with her care and seemingly limitless patience, and with the efficiency, assistance and friendliness of reception staff, and their excellent - and rarely encountered - telephone manners, when they wait for my response when I’m asked to hold on, instead of cutting to their other business directly without making sure that’s ok by me. We have had another practice doctor step in when our GP is not available, and we always hear from the nurse or doctor when awaiting a result, no anxious waiting.

I'm so grateful to have found Dr Lachlan Fieldhouse at Sandy Bay Doctors. He's the best GP I've ever met. You can tell he truly cares about his patients. Wonderful manner, very thorough, switched on and easy to talk to. He takes the time to listen and understand, and has treated me as a whole person, as opposed to just writing a script and sending you on your way. Rude, rude, rude. I walked in the front door and the reception had a sign saying to go to the rear reception, and I went to the reception and stood there for 5 minutes until I eventually saw a sign was facing the rear door saying to go to the receptionist upstairs, then went to the reception upstairs, by that point I was 7 minutes late for the appointment the doctor refused to see me, the lady at the desk gave me a whole lot of attitude and very rudely dismissed what I was saying

I went there with my 17month old son and I with flu symptoms. We rang ahead just to make sure we didn't have to book ( you don't). We got in, receptionist was very helpful checking all our details were up to date and within 5 mins of checking in, was seen by a very polite doctor who checked us both over in a considerate and professional manner. For $88 I would definitely do it again than waiting for 6hrs in the Royal Hobart Hospital. We were in, out in about 20mins.

How very sad that our Doctors office closed at Christmas and we were told to now go to Sandy Bay Doctors. When my partner rang to make an appointment he was told they weren't taking new patients. How so when we were told that the two offices were merging! Obviously neither the old or new practice really cares about its patients. I will be looking elsewhere when I next need a doctors appointment for sure!

I am a regular patient of Dr Thomas Little. Dr Little is very patient, friendly and professional, with great sense of humor. Dr Little always actively listens to me, and he is very good at asking the right follow-up questions to identify the problem. Dr Little is very patient, when explaining treatment options etc. Communication with Dr Little is very easy, and clear.

I have been going to the Sandy Bay Clinic for a long time & l have seen the most helpful wonderful Drs there who really take care of their patients. Now that the Clinic has moved (still in Sandy Bay), there are some newer Drs. I have visited 2 at the new Clinic & find them really good as well especially Dr Nina Rosewell. That's my personal opinion anyway.

They were very vigilant of coughs, cold, flu symptoms at arrival which was great. We travel across the city to come to this practice as we love the care our children's doctor offers. Dr. Lachie always listens to my concerns and especially takes the time to talk to my children and takes their thoughts and feelings into consideration.

My main issue with this clinic is that time and time again they go a tad overtime and then I have to pay double appointment, for really straight forward issues, including a simple referral for my son. It is clear to me that 15 minutes is not enough for any doctor to properly examine and diagnose, so why not change it to 20 min?

New to town and needed to find a new GP. Saw Dr Peter Louden and was very pleased with my experience. He was professional, understanding, explained things well and listened to my concerns. I came today to pay a bill for pathology , and I had to wait with the patients because there is no only one practitioner who wad after long waiting and wasting my time, unable to finalise my account payment. She was in deed a nice with me and well recognised our situation but with no capability for any help.

I am a new patient at this practice and and I am very happy so far. From booking the appointment to the friendly reception staff and the consultation everything went very smoothly. I am quite impressed with the thoroughness of the consultation. I came away feeling like I was in professional and caring hands.

Wonderful experience today at Sandy Bay clinic. Peter Louden, the GP who saw me is excellent. He took me through my medical history and updated where required. He also advised me on several issues regarding a better health outcome for me. All in all I recommend the clinic for their professionalism and care.

Apart from being unaware of needing to take a RAT test before seeing the doctor (I had cold/flu symptoms and a cough)...test was negative...I was very pleased with the appointment, not having to wait for ages for my appointment and the understanding and bedside manner of the doctor I saw who was Dr Till.

I might have rated my recent experience as a 5. However, I was unable to obtain an appointment for over a week, resulting in my condition worsening. Other than that, all the staff - the receptionists, nurses and doctor that I see - are very, very good. The new premises are very pleasant, too.

Excellent facility with latest equipment available, staff are second to no-one from reception to nursing to medical. If you require a competent team do no go past this practise. If you are looking for a family doctor, DR Rosewell would be an excellent choice.
